Computational Investigation of Multiband EMNZ Metamaterial Absorber for Terahertz Applications

This study presents an Epsilon Mu near-zero(EMNZ)nanostructured metamaterial absorber(NMMA)for visible regime *** resonator and dielectric layers are made of tungsten(W)and quartz(fused),where the working band is expanded by changing the resonator layer’s *** to perfect impedance matching with plasmonic resonance characteristics,the proposed NMMA structure is achieved an excellent absorption of 99.99%at 571 THz,99.50%at 488.26 THz,and 99.32%at 598 THz *** absorption mechanism is demonstrated by the theory of impedance,electric field,and power loss density distributions,*** geometric parameters are explored and analyzed to show the structure’s performance,and a near-field pattern is used to explain the absorption mechanism at the resonance frequency *** numerical analysis method describes that the proposed structure exhibited more than 80%absorbability between 550 and 900 *** computer Simulation Technology(CST Microwave studio 2019)software is used to design the proposed ***,CSTHFSS interference is validated by the simulation data with the help of the finite element method(FEM).The proposed NMMA structure is also exhibits glucose concentration sensing capability as *** the proposed broadband absorber may have a potential application in THz sensing,imaging(MRI,thermal,color),solar energy harvesting,light modulators,and optoelectronic devices.

COVID-19 Outbreak Prediction by Using Machine Learning Algorithms

COVID-19 is a contagious disease and its several variants put under stress in all walks of life and economy as *** diagnosis of the virus is a crucial task to prevent the spread of the virus as it is a threat to life in the whole ***,with the advancement of technology,the Internet of Things(IoT)and social IoT(SIoT),the versatile data produced by smart devices helped a lot in overcoming this lethal *** mining is a technique that could be used for extracting useful information from massive *** this study,we used five supervised ML strategies for creating a model to analyze and forecast the existence of COVID-19 using the Kaggle dataset“COVID-19 Symptoms and Presence.”RapidMiner studio ML software was used to apply the Decision Tree(DT),Random Forest(RF),K-Nearest Neighbors(K-NNs)and Naive Bayes(NB),Integrated Decision Tree(ID3)*** develop the model,the performance of each model was tested using 10-fold cross-validation and compared to major accuracy measures,Cohan’s kappa statistics,properly or mistakenly categorized cases and root means square *** results demonstrate that DT outperforms other methods,with an accuracy of 98.42%and a root mean square error of *** the future,a devisedmodel will be highly recommendable and supportive for early prediction/diagnosis of disease by providing different data sets.

Evaluation of Thermal Comfort Level in Social Interest Housing with Earth Tubes for the Brazilian Bioclimatic Zones 1, 2 and 7

The expansion of social housing in Brazil is solving the great demand among low-income populations, ltowever, these projects are not considering climatic factors and thermal comfort strategies. There is a standardization of architectural projects, which leads to the user discomfort. Bioclimatic solutions that improve the thermal performance of buildings should be valued in the projects of buildings. This paper presents a comparative study noticing the thermal comfort provided by a earth tube ventilation system with a natural ventilation system based in the opening of the windows. In this study, three Brazilian bioclimatic zones defined by NBR （Brazilian Standard） 15220 （2005）, Zone 1 （Curitiba）, 2 （Camaqu~,） and 7 （Cuiabfi）, were considered. To make this comparison, computer simulation was used to observe the thermal confort conditions in RTQ-R （Quality Technical Standard for Energy Efficiency Level in Residential Buildings）（2010）, with the help of Energy Plus software and Schektch Up with the plug in Open studio for modeling the residence. After the energy modeling, the results were analyzed with the Analisys Bio software in order to obtain the percentage of hours of comfort for the year （8,760 h）. The conclusion is drawn that the natural ventilation strategy with the opening and closing of the windows is more efficient in Bioclimatic Zone 1. For the Bioclimatic Zone 2, the earth tubes should be used only in the summer and, in Bioclimatic Zone 7, earth tubes are efficient throughout the year because of the high temperatures in the exterior environment.

This work presents a dual band epsilon negative(ENG)metamaterial with a bilateral coupled split ring resonator(SRR)for use in C and X band wireless communication *** traditional split-ring resonator(SRR)has been amended with this engineered *** proposed metamaterial unit cell is realized on the 1.6 mm thick FR-4 printed media with a dimension of 10×10 *** resonating patch built with a square split outer *** interlinked inner rings are coupled vertically to the outer ring to extend its electrical length as well as to tune the resonance *** simulation is performed using CST studio suite 2019 to design and performance *** transmission coefficient(S21)of the proposed unit cell and array configuration exhibits two resonances at 6.7 and 10.5 GHz with wide bandwidth extended from 4.86 to 8.06 GHz and 10.1 to 11.2 GHz,*** permittivity is noted at frequencies between 6.76–9.5 GHz and 10.5–12 GHz,consecutively,with near-zero refractive index and *** optimal EMR value depicts the compactness of the proposed *** 1×2,2×2 and 4×4 arrays are analyzed that shows similar response compared to the unit *** results of the 2×2 array shows the close similarity of S21 response as compared to *** observed properties of the proposed unit cell ascertain its suitability for wireless communications by enhancing the gain and directivity of the antenna system.

Mode Competition of Low Voltage Backward Wave Oscillator near 500 GHz with Parallel Multi-Beam

A backward wave oscillator with parallel multiple beams and multi-pin slow-wave structure(SWS)operating at the frequency above 500 GHz is studied. Both the cold-cavity dispersion characteristics and CST Particle studio simulation results reveal that there are obvious mode competition problems in this kind of terahertz *** that the structure of the multi-pin SWS is similar to that of two-dimensional photonic crystals, we introduce the defects of photonic crystal with the property of filtering into the SWS to suppress high-order ***, a detailed study of the effect of suppressing higher-order modes is carried out in the process of changing location and arrangement pattern of the point defects. The stable, single-mode operation of the terahertz source is realized. The simulation results show that the ratio of the output peak power of the higher-order modes to that of the fundamental mode is less than 1.9%. Also, the source can provide the output peak power of 44.8 m W at the frequency of 502.2 GHz in the case of low beam voltage of 4.7 kV.

Financial independence and the ability to manage own capital can rightfully be considered one of the most important aspects of a person’s life. This is especially important in the context of the modern development of relations between people. Scientific and technological progress, marketing, and the development of social principles in social-economic relations develop in a person a stable system of views and interests. Which in turn generates a certain kind of demand for goods and services that no one could have previously thought of. An example of this could be buying clothes in a computer game for a favorite character, flying in a suit airplane, buying some item that can be thrown away by the same buyer a few minutes after the purchase. At the same time, there is no single theory about how to act and what to do in order to develop a kind of information immunity to this kind of information flow. How to develop financial-analytical thinking and learn to use it at the subconscious level. When a person seems to have made his choice without thinking. This article proposes a theory-method of teaching based on the work of financial institutions, which will allow to develop financial and analytical thinking that allows to make decisions that are most beneficial for a person from a financial point of view. First of all, this article will be useful to those who have plans to connect their lives with finance.

This research aims to study various Symmetrical Algorithms, while the main objective of this study is to find out a suitable algorithm for the encryption of any specific size of text file where the experiment of each algorithm is based on encryption of different sizes of the text files, which are in “10 KB to 5 MB”, and also to calculate the time duration that each algorithm takes to encrypt or to decrypt the particular size of each text file. There are many types of encryption algorithm, which can be used to encrypt the computerized information in different Organizations, whose all algorithms can encrypt and decrypt any size of text file, but the time duration of each Algorithm during the encryption or decryption process of specific file size is not fixed. Some of the algorithms are suitable for encryption of specific ranges of the file size, or some of algorithms are functional while encryption small size of files, and others algorithms are functional for encryption of big size of text files, based on the time duration disparity among symmetric algorithms during encryption of text files. In this study five symmetrical algorithms are merged in one program using classes and concept of inheritance in the form that if encryption is needed, the program will select the file and it checks the size of the text file. After this process the program automatically will select the suitable encryption algorithm to encrypt the specific text file according to the range of the file size. Knowing that the file size before or after encryption will not change or is stable, in this case of the decryption algorithm will apply the same process of encryption while decrypting files, the program of encryption and decryption code will write using visual studio 2013. in this paper, the design of simulation software and control system for unmanned aerial vehicle（UAV） during aerial refueling is proposed, in which the simulation software is constructed under Microsoft Visual studio 2010, and control system is designed based on the linear control theory and assumption of relatively small perturbations during the docking. The proposed model has the merits of explicitly formulating the dynamic states to be controlled. The simulation architecture and control system design procedure was described. Based on the mathematical model, and assigned mission scenario of the UAV, the simulation results demonstrated the visualization of the simulation software and feasibility of the proposed control system design scheme.

Background In the demanding field of live news broadcasting,the intricate studio production procedures and tight schedules pose significant challenges for physical rehearsals by *** paper explores the design and implementation of a lightweight virtual news previsualization system,leveraging virtual production technology and interaction design methods to address the lack of fidelity in presentations and manipulations,and the quantitative feedback of rehearsal effects in previous virtual *** Our system,Previs-Real,is informed by user investigation with professional cameramen and studio technicians,and adheres to principles of high fidelity,accurate replication of actual hardware operations,and real-time feedback on rehearsal *** system's software and hardware development are implemented based on Unreal Engine and accompanying toolsets,incorporating cutting-edge modeling and camera calibration *** We validated Previs-Real through a user study,demonstrating superior performance in previsualization shooting tasks using the virtual system compared to traditional camera *** findings,supported by both objective performance metrics and subjective responses,underline Previs-Real's effectiveness and potential in transforming news broadcasting *** Previs-Real eliminates the requirement for complex equipment interconnections and team coordination inherent in a physical studio by implementing methodologies complying the above principles,objectively resulting in a lightweight design of applicable version of virtual news previsualization *** offers a novel solution to the challenges in news studio previsualization by focusing on key operational features rather than full environment *** design approach is equally effective in the process of designing lightweight systems in other fields.
