The controlled release of two kinds of drugs,5-fluorouracil (5-FU) and hydrocortisonum (Hydro.) loaded in poly(ethylene-vinylalcohol) (EVAL) was dealt with,of which 5-FU/EVAL and Hydro /EVAL matrix systems are *** results were analyzed using the pseudo-steady-diffusion models coupled with the fundamental concepts of percolation *** percolation thresholds for the two systems were calculated,which could indicate the contributions of pore diffusion and matrix diffusion.

The performances of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)are dependent on the wettability and stability of porous *** coatings seem to be useful to improve the surface wettability of commercialized polyolefin ***,it is still a challenge to guarantee their stability under polar ***,we report a facile and versatile way to enhance the wettability and stability of polypropylene separators by constructing robust polydopamine(PDA)coatings triggered with CuSO4/*** coatings were conveniently deposited on the polypropylene separator surfaces and the PDA-coated separators exhibited the improved surface wettability and thermal *** electrolyte uptake increased nearly two folds from the pristine separator to the modified ***,the ionic conductivity also rose from 0.82 mS·cm^-1 to 1.30 mS·cm^-*** importantly,the CuSO4/H2O2-triggered PDA coatings were very stable under strong polar electrolytes,endowing the cells with excellent cycle performance and enhanced C-rate ***,the results unequivocally demonstrate that application of PDA coatings on polyolefin separator triggered by CuSO4/H2O2 is a facile and efficient method for improving the wettability and stability of separators for high LIBs performance.

It is crucial to develop flexible and wearable electronic devices that have attracted tremendous interest due to their merits on compactness,flexibility and high capacitive *** we report the continuously ordered macroscopic poly(ionic liquid)-graphene fibers by wet spinning method via liquid crystal assembly for supercapacitor *** fabricated all-solid-state supercapacitors exhibited a high areal capacitance(268.2 mF cm 2)and volumetric capacitance(204.6 F cm 3)with an outstanding areal energy density(9.31μWh cm-2)and volumetric energy density(8.28 mWh cm-3).The fiber supercapacitors demonstrated exceptional cycle life for straight electrodes of about 10,000 cycles(94.2%capacitance retention)and flexibility at different angles(0°,45°,90°,180°)along with a good flexible cycling stability after 6000 cycles(92.7%capacitance retention).To date,such a novel poly(ionic liquid)-graphene fiber supercapacitors would be a new platform in real-time flexible electronics.

Based on the binding mode for hydrouracil in photosystem II (PS II) Dl protein, a general method for the solid phase combinatorial synthesis of hydrouracil library was developed. The acryloyl chloride or acid were coupled to Wang resin1 to afford the acryloyl ester2. Resin bound ester2 reacted with various primary amines to give secondary amines3, which were converted to the resin bound ureas4 by treatment with isocyanates. Preparation of the hydrouracils5 was achieved by the acidic cyclization-cleavage from the resin. For characterization purposes,8 hydrouracil analogues were synthesized in parallel, following which a small library of9 hydrouracil derivatives was prepared after cleavage from Wang resin. All the9 bydrouracil derivatives desired were identified by GCMS.

FKBP23 was found in mouse endoplasmic reticulum (ER) in 1998. It consists of an N-terminal peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPlase) domain and a C-terminal domain with Ca2+ binding sites. The fusion protein of mouse FKBP23 and glutathione S-transferase (GST), GST-FKBP23, and the fusion protein of BiP, a member of heat shock protein 70 (Hsp 70) in ER, and GST, GST-BiP, were subcloned in E. coli, expressed and purified. The fusion proteins were restrictively digested by Factor Xa (FaXa) to obtain the free cloned proteins FKBP23 and BiP. With the assay of adsorption of free FKBP23 or BiP with GST-BiP or GST-FKBP23 attached to the Glutathione-Sepharose 4B, the adsorbed FKBP23 or BiP could be detected by Immunoblot. It means that FKBP23 binds to BiP. Furthermore, BiP in leukocyte ER-extract can be adsorbed with GST-FKBP23 attached to the glutathione-Sepharose 4B. It shows that FKBP23 binds to natural BiP in ER, too. These experiments show that a PPIase binds to a molecular chaperone of the Hsp70 family.

Well-defined nonionic hydrophilic ω-acryloyl poly(ethylene oxide) macro-monomer (PEO-A) has been prepared by living anionic polymerization of ethylene oxidewith diphenyl methyl potassium as the initiator and acryloyl chloride as the reaction termi-nating agent. The polymer was characterized by FTIR and SEC. The emulsifier-free emul-sion polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and n-butyl acrylate (BA) containingvarious concentrations of PEO-A was studied. In all cases stable emulsion coplymerizationsof MMA and BA were obtained. The stabilizing effect was found to be dependent on themolecular weight and the feed amount of the macromonomer.

Dual-asymmetric poly（vinylidene fluoride）（PVDF） separators have been fabricated by thermally induced phase separation with dimethyl sulfone （DMSO2） and glycerol as mixed diluents. The separators have a porous bulk with large interconnected pores （-1.0 μm） and two surfaces with small pores （-30 nm）. This dual-asymmetric porous structure endows the separators with higher electrolyte uptake amount and rapider uptake rate, as well as better electrolyte retention ability than the commercialized Celgard 2400. The separators even maintain their dimensional stability up to 160 ℃, at which temperature the surface pores close up, leading to a dramatic decrease of air permeability. The electrolyte filled separators also show high ion conductivity （1.72 ***-1） at room temperature. Lithium iron phosphate （LiFePO4）/lithium （Li） cells using these separators display superior discharge capacity and better rate performance as compared with those from the commercialized ones. The results provide new insight into the design and development of separators for high-performance lithium ion batteries with enhanced safety.
