Many real-world problems are dynamic,requiring optimization algorithms being able to continuously track changing optima(optimum) over *** paper proposes an improved differential evolutionary algorithm using the notion of the near-neighbor effect to determine one individuals neighborhoods,for tracking multiple optima in the dynamic environment.A new mutation strategy using the near-neighbor effect is also *** creates individuals by utilizing the stored memory point in its neighborhood,and utilizing the differential vector produced by the ’nearneighbor -superior’ and ’near-neighbor-inferior’.Taking inspirations from the biological immune system,an immune system based scheme is presented for rapidly detecting and responding to the environmental *** addition,a differencerelated multidirectional amplification scheme is presented to integrate valuable information from different dimensions for effectively and rapidly finding the promising optimum in the search *** on dynamic scenarios created by the typical dynamic test instance—moving peak problem,have demonstrated that the near-neighbor and immune system based differential evolution algorithm(NIDE) is effective in dealing with dynamic optimization functions.

This paper investigates L2-gain analysis and anti-windup compensation gains design for a class of discrete-time switched systems with saturating actuators and L2 bounded disturbances by using the switched Lyapunov function *** a given set of anti-windup compensation gains,we firstly give a sufficient condition on tolerable disturbances under which the state trajectory starting from the origin will remain inside a bounded set for the corresponding closed-loop switched system subject to L2 bounded ***,the upper bound on the restricted L2-gain is obtained over the set of tolerable ***,the antiwindup compensation gains aiming to determine the largest disturbance tolerance level and the smallest upper bound of the restricted L2-gain are presented by solving a convex optimization problem with linear matrix inequality(LMI) constraints.A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design method.

This paper is concerned with the variable structure control problems for Markovian jump T-S fuzzy descriptor systems with mode-dependent derivative-term coefficient.A new integral sliding mode control strategy is firstly proposed for Markovian jump T-S fuzzy descriptor systems with mode-dependent derivative-term *** is shown that although the state variables of the Markovian jump T-S fuzzy descriptor systems are discontinuous at the switching instant,the switching function is continuous all the *** a variable structure control method without sliding motion is provided which is regarded as an alternative way to complement the existing sliding mode control ***,an example is given to verify the proposed methods in this paper.

This study deals with reliable control problems in data-driven cyber-physical systems(CPSs) with intermittent communication faults, where the faults may be caused by bad or broken communication devices and/or cyber attackers. To solve them, a watermark-based anomaly detector is proposed, where the faults are divided to be either detectable or ***, the fault's intermittent characteristic is described by the average dwell-time(ADT)-like concept, and then the reliable control issues, under the undetectable faults to the detector, are converted into stabilization issues of switched systems. Furthermore,based on the identifier-critic-structure learning algorithm, a datadriven switched controller with a prescribed-performance-based switching law is proposed, and by the ADT approach, a tolerated fault set is given. Additionally, it is shown that the presented switching laws can improve the system performance degradation in asynchronous intervals, where the degradation is caused by the fault-maker-triggered switching rule, which is unknown for CPS operators. Finally, an illustrative example validates the proposed method.

The forced-circulation evaporator is a multi-input multi-output nonlinear process which has complex dynamics characteristics, such as strong coupling, serious nonlinearity and parameter uncertainty. As a result, the conventional control strategy can not achieve satisfactory control performance. A nonlinear adaptive decoupling control strategy is proposed in this paper. The control strategy combines globally linearizing control（GLC） algorithm with a parameter estimator. The GLC is used to eliminate the coupling between the two control loops and reduce the effects of the nonlinearities on the system simultaneity. The model parameter is estimated by using an extended Kalman filter（EKF） algorithm, which is able to track changes of the forced-circulation process. Simulation results show that the proposed method has good estimation for the model parameter in addition to the high-quality decoupling control performance provided by the GLC controller.

Dear editor,Traffic jams have become an important issue in urban networks, particularly for arterial roads [1]. The need for more efficient traffic control techniques has become critical. One good solution is the so-called intelligent vehicleinfrastructure cooperation systems (i-VICS), which assumes autonomous vehicles in the traffic flow (i.e., a mixed traffic flow). The aim of i-VICS is to achieve cooperative vehicle intersection control, i.e., to enable cooperation between vehicles and traffic signals, for safe and efficient intersection operations.

Model reference adaptive control （MRAC） is considered for a class of switched nonlinear systems in which the unknown parameters appear linearly. The linear uncertain parameters in each subsystem can be expressed as a vector and the uncertain vectors in different subsystems are estimated individually by different vector variables. Update laws are designed such that the parameter estimation will ＇freeze＇ until its corresponding subsystem is active. Controllers for subsystems are given to ensure asymptotic states tracking under arbitrary switchings. Two examples are presented to validate the proposed method.
