A robust tensor watermarking algorithm for diffusion-tensor images

Watermarking algorithms that use convolution neural networks have exhibited good robustness in studies of deep learning ***,after embedding watermark signals by convolution,the feature fusion eficiency of convolution is relatively low;this can easily lead to distortion in the embedded *** distortion occurs in medical images,especially in diffusion tensor images(DTIs),the clinical value of the DTI is *** address this issue,a robust watermarking algorithm for DTIs implemented by fusing convolution with a Transformer is proposed to ensure the robustness of the watermark and the consistency of sampling distance,which enhances the quality of the reconstructed image of the watermarked DTIs after embedding the watermark *** the watermark-embedding network,Ti-weighted(Tlw)images are used as prior *** correlation between T1w images and the original DTI is proposed to calculate the most significant features from the T1w images by using the Transformer *** maximum of the correlation is used as the most significant feature weight to improve the quality of the reconstructed *** the watermark extraction network,the most significant watermark features from the watermarked DTI are adequately learned by the Transformer to robustly extract the watermark signals from the watermark *** results show that the average peak signal-to-noise ratio of the watermarked DTI reaches 50.47 dB,the diffusion characteristics such as mean diffusivity and fractional anisotropy remain unchanged,and the main axis deflection angleαAc is close to *** proposed algorithm can effectively protect the copyright of the DTI and barely affects the clinical diagnosis.

Due to its unbounded and orthogonal modes,the orbital angular momentum(OAM)is regarded as a key optical degree of freedom(DoF)for future information processing with ultra-high capacity and *** the manipulation of OAM based on metasurfaces has brought about great achievements in various fields,such manipulation currently remains at single-DoF level,which means the multiplexed manipulation of OAM with other optical DoFs is still lacking,greatly hampering the application of OAM beams and advancement of *** order to overcome this challenge,we propose the idea of multiplexed coherent pixel(MCP)for *** approach enables the manipulation of arbitrary complex-amplitude under incident lights of both plane and OAM waves,on the basis of which we have realized the multiplexed DoF control of OAM and *** a result,the MCP method expands the types of incident lights which can be simultaneously responded by metasurfaces,enriches the information processing capability of metasurfaces,and creates applications of information encryption and OAM *** findings not only provide means for the design of high-security and high-capacity metasurfaces,but also raise the control and application level of OAM,offering great potential for multifunctional nanophotonic devices in the future.

FSS: algorithm and neural network accelerator for style transfer

Neural networks(NNs), owing to their impressive performance, have gradually begun to dominate multimedia processing. For resource-constrained and energy-sensitive mobile devices, an efficient NN accelerator is necessary. Style transfer is an important multimedia application. However, existing arbitrary style transfer networks are complex and not well supported by current NN accelerators, limiting their application on mobile devices. Moreover, the quality of style transfer needs improvement. Thus, we design the Fast Style system(FSS), where a novel algorithm and an NN accelerator are proposed for style transfer. In FSS, we first propose a novel arbitrary style transfer algorithm, Fast Style. We propose a light network that contributes to high quality and low computational complexity and a prior mechanism to avoid retraining when the style changes. Then, we redesign an NN accelerator for Fast Style by applying two improvements to the basic NVIDIA deep learning accelerator(NVDLA) architecture. First, a flexible dat FSM and wt FSM are redesigned to enable the original data path to perform other operations(including the GrAM operation)by software programming. Moreover, statistics and judgment logic are designed to utilize the continuity of a video stream and remove the data dependency in the instance normalization, which improves the accelerator performance by 18.6%. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed Fast Style can achieve higher quality with a lower computational cost, making it more suitable for mobile devices. The proposed NN accelerator is implemented on the Xilinx VCU118 FPGA under a 180-MHz clock. Experimental results show that the accelerator can stylize 512×512-pixel video with 20 FPS, and the measured performance reaches up to 306.07 GOPS. The ASIC implementation in TSMC 28 nm achieves about 22 FPS in the case of a 720-p video.

Error-based adaptive optimal tracking control of nonlinear discrete-time systems

In this paper,for the output tracking problem of nonlinear discrete-time systems,a performance index is newly defined using the adaptive dynamic programming(ADP) technique to completely eliminate tracking errors in *** contrast to traditional definitions of performance indices in other ADP-based methods,the proposed performance index is not only designed from the perspective of output tracking errors but also introduced errors of system states and control inputs at adjacent stages,which is suitable for practical situations in many industrial applications,such as the alumina production,the flotation process,and the mineral grinding *** proved that the obtained controller can make the system output fully track the given reference trajectory by applying the iterative criteria of the ADP *** addition,the proposed algorithm was implemented using a data-driven technique and neural networks to avoid analyzing and deducing the complicated dynamics of actual industrial ***,using historical data for a forced-circulation evaporation system in the alumina production process,the effect of the proposed approach was verified through a numerical simulation and compared with that of the proportional-integral controller.

Machine learning for parameters diagnosis of spark discharge by electro-acoustic signal

Discharge plasma parameter measurement is a key focus in low-temperature plasma *** diagnostics often require costly equipment,whereas electro-acoustic signals provide a rich,non-invasive,and less complex source of discharge *** study harnesses machine learning to decode these *** establishes links between electro-acoustic signals and gas discharge parameters,such as power and distance,thus streamlining the prediction *** building a spark discharge platform to collect electro-acoustic signals and implementing a series of acoustic signal processing techniques,the Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients(MFCCs)of the acoustic signals are extracted to construct the *** machine learning models(Linear regression,k-Nearest Neighbors,and random Forest)are introduced and applied to the predictors to achieve real-time rapid diagnostic measurement of typical spark discharge power and discharge *** models display impressive performance in prediction precision and fitting *** them,the k-Nearest Neighbors model shows the best performance on discharge power prediction with the lowest mean square error(MSE=0.00571)and the highest r-squared value(r^(2)=0.93877).The experimental results show that the relationship between the electro-acoustic signal and the gas discharge power and distance can be effectively constructed based on the machine learning algorithm,which provides a new idea and basis for the online monitoring and real-time diagnosis of plasma parameters.

Highly dispersed Pd/N-doped carbon dots(Pd/NCDs)were successfully immobilized in the mesoporous channels of amino-functionalized dendritic mesoporous silica nanospheres(NMS).The synthesized Pd/NCDs@NMS catalyst exhibits outstanding performance in the catalytic reduction of 4-nitrophenol(4-NP),achieving a turnover frequency of 1461.8 mol·molPd^(-1)·h^(-1),with the conversion rate remaining above 80%after 11 *** and density functional theory calculations reveal that the NCDs significantly affect the electronic structure of Pd nanoparticles,leading to changes in the energy barriers for the adsorption of 4-NP at the Pd sites and the conversion of 4-NP reaction intermediates,which is a key factor contributing to the catalytic *** study offers a new strategy for synthesizing carbon-dot-modified metal-based catalysts.

Doping suppresses lattice distortion of vacant quadruple perovskites to activate self-trapped excitons emission

The vacancy-ordered quadruple perovskite Cs_(4)CdBi_(2)Cl_(12),as a newly-emerging lead-free perovskite system,has attracted great research interest due to its excellent stability and direct band ***,the poor luminescence performance limits its application in light-emitting diodes(LEDs)and other ***,for the first time,an Ag^(+)ion doping strategy was proposed to greatly improve the emission performance of Cs_(4)CdBi_(2)Cl_(12) synthesized by hydrothermal *** functional theory calculations combined with experimental results evidence that the weak orange emission from Cs_(4)CdBi_(2)Cl_(12) is attributed to the phonon scattering and energy level crossing due to the large lattice distortion under excited ***,Ag^(+)ion doping breaks the intrinsic crystal field environment of Cs_(4)CdBi_(2)Cl_(12),suppresses the crossover between ground and excited states,and reduces the energy loss in the form of nonradiative *** a critical doping amount of 0.8%,the emission intensity of Cs_(4)CdBi_(2)Cl_(12):Ag^(+)reaches the maximum,about eight times that of the pristine ***,the doped Cs_(4)CdBi_(2)Cl_(12) still maintains excellent stability against heat,ultraviolet irradiation,and environmental oxygen/*** above advantages make it possible for this material to be used as solid-state phosphors for white LEDs applications,and the Commission International de I’Eclairage color coordinates of(0.31,0.34)and high color rendering index of 90.6 were *** importantly,the white LED demonstrates remarkable operation stability in air ambient,showing almost no emission decay after a long working time for 48 *** believe that this study puts forward an effective ion-doping strategy for emission enhancement of vacancy-ordered quadruple perovskite Cs_(4)CdBi_(2)Cl_(12),highlighting its great potential as efficient emitter compatible for practical applications.

Measurement,Modelling and Analysis of residence Time Distribution Characteristics in a Continuous Hydrothermal reactor

Understanding the residence time distribution(rTD)of a continuous hydrothermal reactor is of great significance to improve product quality and reaction *** this work,an on-line measurement system is attached to a continuous reactor to investigate the characteristics of *** approach that can accurately fit and describe the experimental measured rTD curve by finding characteristic values is proposed for analysis and *** rTD curves of three experiment groups are measured and the characteristic values are *** show that increasing total flow rate and extending effective reactor length have inverse effect on average residence time,but they both cause the reactor to approach a plug flow reactor and improve the materials *** branch flow rate fraction has no significant effect on rTD characteristics in the scope of the present work except the weak negative correlation with the average residence ***,the natural convection stirring effect can also increase the average residence time,especially when the forced flow is *** analysis reveals that it is necessary to consider the matching of natural convection,forced flow and reactor size to control rTD when designing the hydrothermal reactor and working conditions.
