A dendrite-free lithium metal anode requires a stable interface designed for efficient and reversible lithium plating and stripping. In this work, we have devised a mechanically flexible artificial Li_(3)N solid-electrolyte interlayer supported by a dual-layer compactness-tailored carbon nanotube fiber network. The more compact side of the network ensures a full coverage of Li_(3)N, which prevents the reaction between electrolyte and lithium. The other side, with sparsely distributed nanotube fibers, provides mechanical flexibility for the film, and induces three-dimensional lithium deposition along its structure without any dendrite formation. The resulting full cell with NCM811 cathode has a high capacity retention of 95.1% for 160 cycles compared with less than 80% for the control.

A high-performance all-inorganic magnesium-lithium chloride complex(MLCC)electrolyte is synthesized by a simple room-temperature reaction of LiCl with MgCl_(2) in tetrahydrofuran(THF)solvent.Molecular dynamics simulation,density functional theory calculation,Raman spectroscopy,and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy reveal that the formation of[Mg_(x)Li_(y)Cl_(2x+y)·nTHF]complex solvation structure significantly lowers the coordination number of THF in the first solvation sheath of Mg^(2+),which significantly enhances its de-solvation kinetics.The MLCC electrolyte presents a stable electrochemical window up to 3.1 V(vs Mg/Mg^(2+))and enables reversible cycling of Mg metal deposition/stripping with an outstanding Coulombic efficiency up to 99%at current densities as high as 10 mA cm^(-2).Utilizing the MLCC electrolyte,a Mg/Mo_(6)S_(8) full cell can be cycled for over 10000 cycles with a superior capacity retention of 85 mA h g^(-1) under an ultrahigh rate of 50 C(1 C=128.8 mA g^(-1)).The facile synthesis of highperformance MLCC electrolyte provides a promising solution for future practical magnesium batteries.

The nuclear system is a promising area for demonstrating practical quantum advantage.A comprehensive computation of a nuclear system in a classical computer is beyond the capacity of current classical computers.With the rapid development of hardware,the prospect of using quantum computers in nuclear physics is close at hand.In this paper,we report a full quantum package,QCSH,for solving a nuclear shell model in a quantum computer.QCSH uses the linear combination of the unitary formalism of quantum computing and performs all calculations in a quantum computer.The complexities of qubit resource and the number of basic gates of QCSH are both polynomials to the number of nucleons in nuclei.For example,QCSH is used to calculate the binding energies of 12 light nuclei(i.e.,^(2)H,^(3)H,^(3)He,^(4)He,^(6)Li,^(7)Li,^(12)C,^(14)N,^(16)O,^(17)O,^(23)Na,and^(40)Ca).Moreover,we experimentally demonstrate the calculation of deuteron binding energy using a superconducting quantum processor.The result indicates that QCSH can provide meaningful results already in near-term quantum devices.

A novel N-spiral resonator with open-loop secondary coupling structure(OLSCS) is proposed to realize a compact ultra-narrowband high temperature superconducting(HTS) filter. The coupling strength and polarity between the resonators can be significantly reduced and changed by introducing OLSCS, thus the required weak coupling can be achieved in a very compact size. A six-pole superconducting filter at 1701 MHz with a fractional bandwidth of 0.19% is designed to validate this method. The filter is fabricated on Mg O substrate with a compact size of 15 mm × 10 mm. The measured insertion loss is 0.79 d B, and the return loss is better than 17.4 d B. The experimental results show a good agreement with the simulations.

Structural and magnetic properties are investigated for Fe1-xMnxV2O4 （0≤ x ≤ 1） spinels. As orbital-active Fe^2＋ is substituted with Mn^2＋, the cubie-to-tetragonM transition TsI and the tetragonal-to-orthorhombic transition Ts2 gradually decrease. These structural transitions originate from the Fe^2＋ ferro-orbital order （F-OO）. Below Yafet-Kittel （YK） magnetic transition TN2, V^3＋ orbital order （V-OO） plays an important role on global structure. Here x = 0.6 is a critical point. Fe^2＋ F-OO and V^3＋ F-OO coexist for 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.5. For x≥ 0.6, the orbital pattern of V^3＋ is antiferro （AF）-00, and Fe^2＋ F-OO disappears. Structural transition Ts3, accompanied by YK magnetic transition TN2, decreases initially, and then increases at x = 0.6. A scenario for the complex phase diagram arising from the cooperation or competition of Fe^2＋ and V^3＋ orbitals is proposed.

The intrinsic magnetic topological insulator MnBi_(2)Te_(4) is believed to be a feasible pathway to high temperature quantum anomalous Hall(QAH) effect for its large magnetically induced energy gap(-50 meV) at its Dirac surface states predicted in theory [1]. Our recent scanning tunneling microscopy （STM） studies of the NaFelxCoxAs phase diagram over a wide range of dopings and temperatures are reviewed. Similar to the high-Tc cuprates, the iron-based superconductors lie in close proximity to a magnetically ordered phase. Therefore, it is widely believed that magnetic interactions or fluctuations play an important role in triggering their Cooper pairings. Among the key issues regarding the electronic phase diagram are the properties of the parent spin density wave （SDW） phase and the superconducting （SC） phase, as well as the interplay between them. The NaFe l-xCoxAs is an ideal system for resolving these issues due to its rich electronic phases and the charge-neutral cleaved surface. In our recent work, we directly observed the SDW gap in the parent state, and it exhibits unconventional features that are incompatible with the simple Fermi surface nesting picture. The optimally doped sample has a single SC gap, but in the underdoped regime we directly viewed the microscopic coexistence of the SDW and SC orders, which compete with each other. In the overdoped regime we observed a novel pseudogap-like feature that coexists with supercon- ductivity in the ground state, persists well into the normal state, and shows great spatial variations. The rich electronic structures across the phase diagram of NaFel_xCoxAs revealed here shed important new light for defining microscopic models of the iron-based superconductors. In particular, we argue that both the itinerant electrons and local moments should be considered on an equal footing in a realistic model.

Ferroelectric and magnetic properties of Fe1-xMnxV2O4 （0 ≤ x ≤ 0.5） spinels are investigated on the basis of dielectric, polarization, and susceptibility measurements. Ferroeleetric polarization is discovered in collinear ferrimagnetic and Yafet-Kittel magnetic phases for 0.1 ≤ x ≤ 0.4, which can be tuned by a magnetic field. As orbital-active FJ＋ is substituted with Mn2＋, ferroeleetric polarization decreases for 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.4 and disappears for x=0.5. We propose that the two polar components in ferroelectric polarization originate from the exchange striction mechanism and the spin-current model, respectively.

In this study, we propose a novel resonator that is composed of a modified spiral with an embedded interdigital capacitor. A large ratio of the first spurious frequency to the fundamental resonant frequency is obtained, which is suitable for the design of filters with wide stopbands, and the circuit size is considerably reduced by embedding the interdigital structure in the spiral. For demonstration, a compact four-pole high temperature superconducting（HTS） filter with a center frequency of 568 MHz is designed and fabricated on double-sided YBCO film with a size of 11.4 mm×8.0 mm. The filter measurement shows excellent performance with an out-of-band rejection level better than 60.9 dB up to 3863 MHz.
