Realizing high performance of ordinary robots is one of the core problems in robotic research. Improving the performance of ordinary robots usually relies on the collaborative development of multiple research fields, resulting in high costs and difficulty to complete some high-precision tasks. As a comparison,humans can realize extraordinary overall performance under the condition of limited computational-energy consumption and low absolute precision in sensing and controlling each body unit. Therefore, developing human-inspired robotic systems and algorithms is a promising avenue to improve the performance of robotic systems. In this review, the cutting-edge research work on human-inspired intelligent robots in decisionmaking, cognition, motion control, and system design is summarized from behavior-and neural-inspired aspects. This review aims to provide a significant insight into human-inspired intelligent robots, which may be beneficial for promoting the integration of neuroscience, machinery, and control, so as to develop a new generation of robotic systems.

High-strength metallic foams have a wide range of applications in engineering as lightweight structural and energy-absorbing ***,it is challenging to obtain metallic foam with both good energy absorption performance and high ***,we developed a novel metal matrix syntactic foam fabri-cated with AlCoCrFeNi_(2.1) eutectic high entropy alloy and alumina cenospheres that exhibits a remarkable combination of high strength and energy absorption performance under both quasi-static and dynamic *** porous structure of syntactic foam fully exploits the properties of the AlCoCrFeNi_(2.1) alloy matrix with a unique FCC/B2 dual-phase eutectic microstructure and thus yields exceptional *** discovered that this dual-phase microstructure not only provides high strength but also allows the pores to collapse in a progressive and diffusive way,which enables the formation of a high and smooth energy absorption *** is found that the heterogeneity between the two phases in the matrix can provide back stress strengthening,and it also induces multiple micro shear bands and microcracks as additional energy dissipation modes as the deformation *** unique mechanism ensures the strength of microstructures and makes them fracture promptly,which causes the balance of strengthening and softening on the macro *** work opens the avenue for developing advanced high-strength lightweight structural and energy-absorbing materials.

Microbial diversity in the hydrate-containing （sites SH3B and SH7B） and -free （sites SHIB, SH5B, SH5C） sediments collected from the Shenhu area of the South China Sea （SCS） was investigated using 16S rRNA gene phylogenetic analysis. The phylogenetic results indicate difference in microbial communities be- tween hydrate-containing and -free sediments. At the gas hydrate-containing sites, bacterial communities were dominated by Deltaproteobacteria （30.5%）, and archaeal communities were dominated by Miscellaneous Crenarchaeotic Group （33.8%）; In contrast, Planctomycetes was the major group （43.9%） in bacterial communities, while Marine Benthic Group-D （MBG-D）（32.4%） took up the largest proportion in the archaeal communities. Moreover, the microbial communities have characteristics different from those in other hydrate-related sediments around the world, indicating that the presence of hydrates can affect the microbial distribution. In addition, the microbial community composition in the studied sediments has its own uniqueness, which may result from co-effect of geochemical characteristics and presence/absence of hydrate.

In this study,about 220 satellite images between 2000 and 2012 were obtained from FY-series,MODIS,CBERS,HJ-1A and HJ-1B to estimate the impact of duststorms on the South Yellow Sea（SYS）,which serve as an important source of particles *** analyzing results from the images support a total occurrence of 88 duststorms（including the locally-generated dusty weather） that affected the SYS during 2000–*** annual occurrence was about 4–10 times（10 times in 2000 and 2004;four times in 2009 and 2012）,predominantly in March（29%）,April（33%） and May（22%）.By mapping the distribution of their frequency,the duststorms influencing the SYS were found primarily moving from the northwest（39 times,44.3%） and west（37 times,42%） to the study region with only 11 duststorms（12.5%） coming from the north and 1 duststorm（1%） from the *** estimated that an annual amount of 0.5–3.5 million tons of sediment particles was brought to the SYS by the duststorms during 2000–2012.

The evolution of microstructure on aging of an （α＋β） titanium alloy （Ti-5A1-5Mo-5V-1Cr-1Fe） in the β and （α＋β） solution-treated and quenched conditions was investigated, The presence of very fine to phase was detected by electron diffraction for samples aged below 400 ℃. The fine a aggregates are uniformly formed within fl grains by nucleating at the to particles or β/ω interfaces. At higher temperature, the formation of to phase is avoided and the a lamellae are precipitated at the preferred site of grain boundary and then within the matrix. The highest hardness values are found when the alloys are aged at 450 ℃ for fl condition and 350 ℃ for （α＋β） condition.
