Prevention of Local Liver Cancer Recurrence after Surgery Using Multilayered Cisplatin-loaded Polylactide Electrospun Nanofibers

In this study a cisplatin-loaded, multilayered polylactide （PLA） electrospun nanofibers, with the structure of two layers of drug-loaded mat being sandwiched by three layers of blank mat, were designed for prolonged cisplatin release at surgical margin to prevent local cancer recurrence following surgical resection in a murine model. In vivo drug release and biodistribution study suggested that the multilayered fibrous mat displayed a slower cisplatin release behavior and a more stable drug rentention in the local tissue within 24 h than that of single-layered fibrous mat. By covering the surgical site with the multilayered fibrous mat following resection of subcutaneous liver cancer in mice, retarded tumor recurrence, prolonged survival time and less systemic toxicity were observed compared with other treatment groups.

Inspired by the recent measurement of the process e+e-→∧■,we calculate the mass spectrum of the 0 meson with the GI *** the excited vector strangeonium states ?（3 S,4 S,5 S,6 S） and ?（2 D,3 D,4 D,5 D）,we investigate the electronic decay width with the Van Royen-Weisskopf formula,and the partial widths of the ∧■,■,and■ decay modes with the extended quark-pair creation *** find that the electronic decay width of the D-wave vector strangeonium is about 3～8 times larger than of the S-wave vector *** 2232 Me V,the partial decay width of the ∧■ mode can be up to several MeV for ?（33 S1）,while the partial ∧■ decay width of ?（23 D1） is O(10-3) *** the threshold enhancement reported by the BESIII collaboration arises from the strangeonium meson,this state is very likely the ?（33 S1） *** also note that the ∧■ and∑+■partial decay widths of the states ?（33 D1） and ?（43 S1） are several MeV,which is sufficient to be observed in future experiments.

The microstructure scales of dendrites, such as primary and secondary dendrite arm spacings, control the segregation profiles and the formation of secondary phases within interdendritic regions, which determine the properties of solidified structures. Investigations on primary and secondary dendrite arm spacings of primary a-phase during directionally solidified Pb-26wt%Bi hypo-peritectic alloy were carried out in this research, and systematic studies were conducted using cylindrical samples with different diameters （Ф = 1.8 and 7.0 mm） in order to analyze the effects of sample diameter on the primary and secondary dendrite arm spacings. In this work, the dependence of dendrite arm spacings on growth velocity was established. In addition, the experimental data concerning the primary and secondary dendrite ann spacings were compared with the main predictive dendritic models from the literatures. A comparison between experimental results for dendrite arm spacings of the 1.8-mm-diameter sample and 7.0-ram-diameter sample was also conducted.

We propose a method to retrieve the angle-dependent strong-field ionization of highest occupied molecular orbital(HOMO)from high-order harmonic generation(HHG)of aligned *** method is based on the single-molecule quantitative rescattering model with known alignment distribution and photo-recombination cross sections of fixed-in-space *** the macroscopic HHG of aligned N2 molecules,we show that angledependent ionization of HOMO can be successfully retrieved at both low and high degrees of *** then show that the error in the retrieved angular dependence of ionization becomes larger if the uncertainty in the alignment distribution is introduced in the retrieval *** also examine that the retrieved ionization of HOMO is much deviated from the accurate one if the intensity of probe laser becomes higher such that inner HOMO-1 can contribute to HHG.

When positronium is generated in super intense laser fields irradiated by an intense laser field, it breaks up into an electron and a positron. The momentum of the electron as well as that of the positron depends on the relative direction with respect to the laser propagation. Thus, the photoelectron angular distributions show inversion asymmetry. The inversion asymmetry becomes notable for higher kinetic energy of electrons.

Lithium titanium oxide(Li4Ti5O12,LTO),a‘zero-strain’anode material for lithium-ion batteries,exhibits excellent cycling ***,its poor conductivity highly limits its ***,the structural stability and conductivity of LTO were studied using in situ high-pressure measurements and first-principles *** underwent a pressure-induced amorphization(PIA)at 26.9 *** impedance spectroscopy revealed that the conductivity of LTO improved significantly after amorphization and that the conductivity of decompressed amorphous LTO increased by an order of magnitude compared with its starting ***,our calculations demonstrated that the different compressibility of the Li O6and Ti O6octahedra in the structure was crucial for the *** amorphous phase promotes Li+diffusion and enhances its ionic conductivity by providing defects for ion *** results not only provide an insight into the pressure depended structural properties of a spinel-like material,but also facilitate exploration of the interplay between PIA and conductivity.

Time-dependent quantum wave packet calculations were carried out for the F ＋ HBr reaction on the latest London-Erying-Polanyi-Sato potential energy surface constructed by Persky et al. The calculated reaction probabilities dramatically increase near the zero collision energy and then slightly decrease with increasing collision energy, which corresponds well to the behavior of a barrierless reaction. The effects of reagent HBr excitation were examined, it is shown that both the vibrational and the rotational excitations of reagent HBr have a negative effect on the reactivity of F ＋ HBr. The integral cross-section for the ground state of the reagent HBr decreases at a low collision energy and then becomes plat with increasing collision energy, which is reasonable for the feasibility of such an exothermal reaction. The rate constant that was obtained is slightly higher than that obtained in the quasi-classical trajectory calculation.

We propose a scheme to prepare the Bell states for atomic qubits trapped in separate optical cavities via atom-cavity-laser *** quantum information of each qubit is encoded on the degenerate ground states of the atom,so the entanglement between them is relatively stable against spontaneous *** proposed scheme consists of a Mach-Zehnder interferometer（MZI） with two arms,and each arm contains a cavity with an N-type atom in *** requires two classical fields and a single-photon source. By controlling the sequence and time of atom-cavity-laser interaction,the deterministic production of the atomic Bell states is *** also introduce the generalization of the present scheme to generate the 2N-atom Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger state.
