AcYL-coA-BINDING pROTEINs(AcBps)play crucial regulatory roles during plant response to hypoxia,but their molecular mechanisms remain poorly *** study reveals that AcBp4 serves as a positive regulator of the plant hypoxia response by interacting with WRKY70,influencing its nucleocytoplasmic shuttling in Arabidopsis ***,we demonstrate the direct binding of WRKY70 to the AcBp4 promoter,resulting in its upregulation and suggesting a positive feedback ***,we pinpointed a phosphorylation site at Ser638 of AcBp4,which enhances submergence tolerance,potentially by facilitating WRKY70's nuclear ***,a nat.ral variation in this phosphorylation site of AcBp4 allowed *** to adapt to humid conditions during its historical demographic *** further observed that both phosphorylated AcBp4 and oleoyl-co A can impede the interaction between AcBp4 and WRKY70,thus promoting WRKY70's nuclear ***,we found that the overexpression of orthologous Bna ***4and Bna ***70 in Brassica napus increases submergence tolerance,indicating their functional similarity across *** summary,our research not only sheds light on the functional significance of the AcBp4 gene in hypoxia response,but also underscores its potential utility in breeding flooding-tolerant oilseed rape varieties.

SeeMore: a spatiotemporal predictive model with bidirectional distillation and level-sp.c.fic meta-adaptation

predicting future frames using historical spatiotemporal data sequences is challenging and critical, and it is receiving a lot of attention these days from academic and industrial scholars. Most spatiotemporal predictive algorithms ignore the valuable backward reasoning ability and the disparate learning complexities among different layers and hence, cannot build good long-term dependencies and spatial correlations,resulting in suboptimal solutions. To address the aforementioned issues, we propose a two-stage coarse-to-fine spatiotemporal predictive model with bidirectional distillation and level-sp.c.fic meta-adaptation(See More)in this paper, which includes a bidirectional distillation network(BDN) and a level-sp.c.fic meta-adapter(LMA), to gain bidirectional multilevel reasoning. In the first stage, BDN concentrates on bidirectional dynamics modeling and coarsely constructs spatial correlations of different layers, while LMA is introduced in the second fine-tuning stage to refine the multilevel spatial correlations from a meta-learning *** particular, BDN mimics the forward and backward reasoning abilities of humans in a distillation manner,which aids in the development of long-term dependencies. The LMA views learning of different layers as disparate but related tasks and guides the transfer of learning experiences among these tasks through learning complexities. Thus, each layer could be closer to its solutions and could extract more informative spatial correlations. By capturing the enhanced short-term spatial correlations and long-term temporal dependencies,the proposed model could extract adequate knowledge from sequential historical observations and accurately predict future frames whose backtracking preconditions are consistent with the historical sequence. combining anodic alcohol oxidative coupling for c-c bond formation with cathodic ammonia production

Electrocatalytic oxidation of alcohols using heterogeneous catalysts is a promising aqueous, energy-efficient and environmentally friendly approach, esp.c.ally for coupling different alcohols to prolong the carbon chain via co-oxidation. precisely regulating critical steps to tailor electrode materials and electrolyte composition is key to selectively coupling alcohols for targeted synthesis. However, selectively coupling different alcohols remains challenging due to the lack of effective catalyst and electrolyte design promoting sp.c.fic pathways. Herein, we demonstrate a paired electrolysis strategy for combining anodic oxidative coupling of ethanol（EtOH） and benzyl alcohol（p.c.2OH） to synthesize cinnamaldehyde（cAL） and cathodic ammonia production. The strategies involve:（i） utilizing the salt-out effect to balance selective oxidation and coupling rates;（ii） developing platinum-loaded nickel hydroxide electrocatalysts to accelerate intermediate coupling kinetics;（iii） introducing thermodynamically favorable nitrate reduction at the cathode to improve coupling selectivity by avoiding hydrogenat.on of products while generating valuable ammonia instead of hydrogen. We achieved 85% coupling selectivity and 278 μmol/h NH3productive rate at 100 m A/cm2with a low energy input（～1.63 V）. The membrane-free, low energy, scalab.e approach with a wide substrate scope highlights promising applications of this methodology. This work advances heterogeneous electrocatalytic synthesis through rational design principles that integrate anodic oxidative coupling with cathodic nitrate reduction reactions, having synergistic effects on efficiency and selectivity.

Using oleyl alcohol as carbon source for the cultivation of yeast Torulopsis sp.. a modified sophorose lipid was isolated as the major product. This product was characterized as the octadecyl derivative by H-1 NMR and FAB-MS. Hydrogenat.on gave an octadecyl ester: octadecyl 17-L-[(2'-o-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-beta-D-glucopyranosyl)oxy]octadecanoate 6',6'-diacetate.
