Virtual co.pling(VC) is an emerging technology for addressing the shortage of rail transportation capacity. As a crucial enabling technology, the VC-specific acquisition of train information, especially train following distance(TFD), is *** this paper, a novel method is proposed to acquire real-time TFD by analyzing the vibration response of the front and following trains, during which only onboard accelerometers and speedometers are required. In co.trast to the traditional arts of train positioning, this method targets a relative position between two adjacent trains in VC operation, rather than the global positions of the trains. For this purpose, an adaptive system co.taining three strategies is designed to co.e with possible adverse factors in train operation. A vehicle dynamics simulation of a heavy-haul railway is implemented for the evaluation of feasibility and performance. Furthermore, a validation is co.ducted using a set of data measured from in-service Chinese high-speed trains. The results indicate the method achieves satisfactory estimation accuracy using both simulated and actual data. It has favorable adaptability to various uncertainties possibly enco.ntered in train operation. Additionally, the method is preliminarily proven to adapt to different loco.otive types and even different rail transportation modes. In general, such a method with good performance, low-co.t, and easy implementation is promising to apply.

With the proposal of carbon neutrality,how to improve the proportion of clean energy in energy co.sumption and reduce carbon dioxide emissions has beco.e the important challenge for the traditional energy *** on the idea of multi-energy co.plementarity,a typical integrated energy system co.sisting of electric system and gas system is co.structed based on the application of power to gas(P2G)technology and gas turbine in this ***,a multi-objective optimization model with eco.omic improvement,carbon emission reduction and peak-load shifting as objectives is proposed,and solved by BSO ***,a typical power-gas co.pling system is selected as an example to verify the effectiveness of the *** results showed that the proposed multi-objective optimization model based on BSO algorithm can better play the co.plementary characteristics of the electric and gas system,and significantly improve the co.prehensive benefits of system operation.

This paper proposes a distributed robust optimal dispatch model to enhance information security and interaction among the operators in the regional integrated energy system(RIES).Our model regards the distribution network and each energy hub(EH)as independent operators and employs robust optimization to improve operational security caused by wind and photovoltaic(PV)power output uncertainties,with only deterministic information exchanged across *** paper also adopts the alternating direction method of multipliers(ADMM)algorithm to facilitate secure information interaction among multiple RIES operators,maximizing the benefit for each ***,the traditional ADMM algorithm with fixed step size is modified to be adaptive,addressing issues of redundant interactions caused by suboptimal initial step size settings.A case study validates the effectiveness of the proposed model,demonstrating the superiority of the ADMM algorithm with adaptive step size and the eco.omic benefits of the distributed robust optimal dispatch model over the distributed stochastic optimal dispatch model.

Study of the Carbon Neutral Path in China: A Literature Review

After the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals were proposed, different institutions and scholars carried out research on China’s medium-and long-term mitigation pathways. Through the literature review of China’s research on carbon neutrality, this paper finds that the zero-carbon energy transition is the key to achieving carbon neutrality. The main driving factors of reducing energy-related carbon emissions include the cleanliness of primary and seco.dary energy supply systems, the electrification of energy co.sumption and the development of hydrogen energy,energy efficiency improvement, carbon capture and storage(CCS), and negative ***, based on the literature, this paper co.ducts a quantitative co.parative analysis, and selects key indicators for co.parative analysis and summary from seven dimensions, including eco.omic and social development, carbon emission pathways, primary energy co.sumption, final energy co.sumption, final hydrogen energy co.sumption, electricity demand and supply, and installed capacity and structure of power generation. Main co.clusions are as follows:(i) In terms of carbon emission pathways, the institutions generally believed that China will peak carbon emissions around 2028 and achieve carbon neutrality between 2050 and 2060. Achieving net-zero or near-zero emissions first in the power sector is the key to carbon neutrality across the society;(ii) In terms of energy supply, it is a co.sensus to increase the proportion of clean energy and reduce carbon emissions from the source. The proportion of clean energy in primary energy will increase to more than 85%, and the proportion of clean energy power generation and installed capacity will reach more than 90%;(iii) In terms of energy use, electricity will beco.e the co.e of final energy co.sumption in the future. The predicted electricity co.sumption across the society will range 14.3–18.4 PWh, and the predicted electrification rate will exceed 65%.

A Modified Impact-increment-based state Enumeration Method and Its Application in Power Distribution Systems

Reliable planning and operation of power distribution systems are of great significance. In this paper, the impactincrement based state enumeration(IIBSE) method is modified to adapt to the features of distribution systems. With the proposed method, the expectation, probabilistic, and duration reliability indices can be accurately obtained with a lower enumerated order of co.tingency states. In addition, the time-co.suming optimal power flow(OPF) calculation can be replaced by a simple matrix operation for both independent and radial series failure states. Therefore, the accuracy and efficiency of the assessment process are improved co.prehensively. The case of RBTS bus 6 system and IEEE 123 node test feeder system are utilized to test the performance of the modified IIBSE. The results show the superiority of the proposed method over Monte Carlo(MC) sampling and state enumeration(SE) methods in distribution systems.

A distributed energy management in a photovoltaic charging station(PV-CS) is proposed on the basis of different behavioural responses of electric vehicle(EV) drivers. On the basis of the provider or the co.sumer of the power, charging station and EVs have been modeled as independent players with different preferences. Because of the selfish behaviour of the individuals and their hierarchies, the power distribution problem is modeled as a nonco.perative Stackelberg game. Moreover, Karush-Kuhn-Tucker(KKT) co.ditions and the most socially stable equilibrium are adopted to solve the problem in hand. The co.sensus network, a learning-based algorithm, is utilized to let the EVs co.municate and update their own charging power in a distributed fashion. Simulation analysis is supported to show the static and dynamic responses as well as the effectiveness and workability of the proposed charging power management. For the sake of showing the responses of EV drivers, different behavioural responses of EVs’ drivers to the disco.nt on the charging price offered by the station are introduced. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed energy management.
