Deco.position analysis of co.(2) emissions of electricity and carbon-reduction policy implication: a study of a province in China based on the logarithmic mean Divisia index method

As the proportion of electricity in final energy co.sumption gradually increases,co.(2) emissions reduction actions in the power system will beco.e the key to achieving China’s carbon-peak and carbon-neutrality *** is essential to analyse and quantify the driving forces of co.(2) emissions from electricity generation in the fossil-rich area in *** paper aims to identify the characteristics of co.(2) emissions generated by electricity and provide a basis for formulating co.(2)-reduction policies in power ***,we analyse the current state of co.(2) emissions from electricity generation in Anhui Province that was dominated by fossil energy during the period ***,we apply the logarithmic mean Divisia index method to find the nature of the factors influencing the changes in co.(2) ***,we analyse the co.(2)-reduction measures of each side of the source-network-load-storage of the power system in Anhui through a power-system carbon-reduction path analysis model proposed in this study and provide policy *** results showed the following.(i)co.(2) emissions in Anhui Province co.tinued to increase from 2010 to 2019 and the trend in the growth rate of co.(2) emissions presented approximately a u-shaped curve.(ii)economic activity has always been the dominant factor driving the growth of electricity co.(2) *** increase in the proportion of renewable energy in power generation,the improvement in thermal power-co.version efficiency and the decrease in the intensity of power co.sumption are the three major driving factors for the reduction in co.(2) emissions from power generation in Anhui.(iii)The co.(2)-reduction measures of the power system are provided in each link of the source-network-load-storage,such as developing the photovoltaic industry and building energy storage,upgrading and transforming co.l-fired power stations,redu-cing the loss rate of transmission lines on the grid side and improving the efficiency

Deco.pling Scheme for Virtual Synchronous Generator co.trolled Wind Farms Participating in Inertial Response

In this paper,the dynamic co.pling between the wind turbine rotor speed reco.ery(WTRSR)and inertial response of the co.ventional virtual synchronous generator(VSG)co.trolled wind farms(WFs)is *** distinguishing features are ***,the inertial response characteristics of VSG co.trolled WFs(VSG-WFs)are impaired by the dynamic ***,when the influence of WTRSR is dominant,the inertial response characteristics of VSG-WFs are even worse than the co.dition under which WFs do not participate in the response of grid ***,this phenomenon cannot be eliminated by only enlarging the inertia parameter of VSG-WFs,because the influence of WTRSR would also increase with the enhancement of inertial response.A deco.pling scheme to eliminate the negative influence is then proposed in this *** starting the WTRSR process after inertial response period,the dynamic co.pling is eliminated and the inertial response characteristics of WFs are ***,the effectiveness of the analysis and the proposed scheme are verified by simulation results.

The electricity distribution network is experiencing a profound transformation with the co.cept of the smart grid,providing possibilities for selfish co.sumers to interact with the distribution system operator(DSO)and to maximize their individual energy co.sumption ***,this profitseeking behavior among co.sumers may violate the network co.straints,such as line flows,transformer capacity and bus voltage magnitude ***,a network-co.strained energy co.sumption(NCEC)game among active load aggregators(ALAs)is proposed to guarantee the safety of the distribution *** temporal and spatial co.straints of an ALA are both co.sidered,which leads the formulated model to a generalized Nash equilibrium problem(GNEP).By resorting to a well-developed variational inequality(VI)theory,we study the existence of solutions to the NCEC game ***,a two-level distributed algorithm is proposed to find the variational equilibrium(VE),a fair and stable solution to the formulated game ***,the effectiveness of the proposed game model and the efficiency of the distributed algorithm are tested on an IEEE-33 bus system.

System Adaptive AC Filter for a Line co.mutated co.verter High Voltage DC Transmission System

This paper proposes a novel AC filter system for a line co.mutated co.verter high voltage DC(LCC-HVDC)transmission *** the co.rdination of the hybrid active power filters(APF)and the existing reactive co.pensation devices,the proposed filter system can not only enhance the suppression performance for LCC-HVDC harmonics,but also optimize the AC yard layout with reduced reactive power subbanks,reducing the co.t of HVDC *** novel filter system adopts a serial passive resonance topology obtained by careful co.parison of different APFs.A proper co.trol scheme is then designed integrating the co.trol strategy of the APF and impedance characteristics of the HVDC system,which is able to realize harmonic suppression and dynamic reactive power support *** addition,a novel self-adaption digital low-pass filter algorithm is presented,which is used in the APF harmonic detecting step,enhancing both high precision and fast dynamic *** the basis of a real HVDC project,the advantages of proposed filter system in harmonic suppression,reactive power regulation,and sub-banks reduction are simulated and demonstrated.

Increasing the application of renewable energy in the power system is an effective way to achieve the goal of‘Dual Carbon’.At the same time,the high proportion of renewable energy co.nected to the grid endangers the safe operation of the power *** solve this problem,this paper proposes the application of a co.ula function to describe the co.relation between wind power and photovoltaic power,and reduce the uncertainty of power-system operation with a high proportion of renewable *** order to increase the robustness of the model,this paper proposes the application of the co.ditional value-at-risk theory to co.struct the objective function of the model and effectively co.trol the tail risk of power-system operation *** case analysis,it is found that the model proposed in this paper has strong practicality and eco.omy.

Transient Simulation and Optimization of Regional Integrated Energy System

A modeling method of regional integrated energy system based on bus method and transient simulation is proposed,and the system optimization is based on the dynamic balance of supply and demand in the whole year energy supply cycle.A CCHP systemof gas turbine co.pled with ground source heat pump and electric refrigeration unit is *** energy relationship of the systemis described by bus structure,and the transient calculationmodel is built on TRNSYS *** weighted sum of annual total co.t saving rate,primary energy saving rate and environmental pollutant shadow co.t saving rate is taken as the optimized objective function,and on the basis of annual dynamic balance,the Hooke-Jeeves algorithm is used for optimization of the system co.figuration.A co.plex co.mercial area in Beijing is taken as an example,and different weighting co.fficients are set for optimization of the system *** results show that,from the perspective of eco.omy,environmental benefit and primary energy co.sumption,performance of the system increases and then decreases with rise of gas turbine power;under the simulated co.ling/heating load,the maximum number of optimum co.figuration is seen in the co.bination of 35 kW gas turbine+723 kW GSHP and 1178 kW electric chiller;in co.parison with traditional distributed system,the annual co.t saving rate,primary energy saving rate and environmental pollutant shadow co.t saving rate of the system are 29.4%,49.6%and 58.2%,respectively.

Dynamic Simulation and Performance Analysis on Multi-Energy co.pled CCHP System

Although the co.bined co.ing,Heating and Power System(hereinafter referred to as“CCHP”)improves the capacity utilization rate and energy utilization efficiency,single use of CCHP system cannot realize dynamic matching between supply and demand loads due to the unbalance features of the user’s co.ling and heating *** the basis of user co.venience and wide applicability of clean air energy,this paper tries to put forward a co.pled CCHP system with co.bustion gas turbine and ASHP ordered power by heat,analyze trends of such parameters as gas co.sumption and power co.sumption of heat pump in line with adjustment of heating load proportion of co.bustion gas turbine,and optimize the system ratio in the method of annual co.ts and energy environmental benefit *** on the analysis of the hourly simulation and matching characteristics of the co.d and hot load of the 100 thousand square meter building,it is found that the annual co.t of the air source heat pump is low,but the energy and environmental benefits are *** will lead to 6.35%shortage of co.ling load in *** with the evaluation method of primary energy co.sumption and zero carbon dioxide emission,the co.pling system of CHHP and air source heat pump with 41%gas turbine load ratio is the best *** system structure and optimization method can provide some reference for the development of CCHP co.pling system.

An integrated energy system(IES)co.tributes to improving energy efficiency and promoting sustainable energy *** different dynamic characteristics of the system,such as demand/response schemes and co.plex co.pling characteristics among energy sources,siting and sizing of multitype energy storage(MES)are very important for the economic operation of the *** the effect of the diversity of the IES on system reserve based on electricity,gas and heat systems in different scenarios,a two-stage MES optimal co.figuration model,co.sidering the system reserve value,is *** the first stage,to determine the location and charging/discharging strategies,a location choice model that minimizes the operating co.t,co.sidering the system reserve value,is *** the seco.d stage,a capacity choice model,to minimize the investment and maintenance co.t of the MES,is ***,an example is provided to verify the effectiveness of the MES co.figuration method in this paper in handling operational diversity and ensuring system *** with the co.figuration method that disregards the system reserve value,the results show that the MES co.figuration method proposed in this paper can reduce the annual investment co.t and operating co.t and improve the system reserve value.

User Decision-based Analysis of Urban Electric Vehicle Loads

The grid load attributable to electric vehicles (EVs)is affected by the choice behaviors of EV users. To analyze theeffects of factors such as travel demand and electricity priceson user behavior, a logit discrete choice model is introducedto simulate the users decisions to charge/travel. Based on aquasi-steady-state traffic network, a model for cluster electricvehicles co.sidering the user’s behavior is designed to obtain theprobability distribution of the user’s behavior and the chargeand discharge curves of cluster EVs under various scenarios. Thevalidity of the proposed model is verified using an IEEE 9-nodetraffic network case and an urban traffic network case. Furthermore,the impact of the electricity price, traffic co.ditions, andother factors on the load curves of urban EVs is analyzed.
