In-situ constructed SnO_(2) gradient buffer layer as a tight and robust interphase toward Li metal anodes in LATP solid state batteries

Li_(1.3)Al_(0.3)Ti_(1.7)(PO_(4))_(3)(LATP),of much interest owing to its high ionic conductivity,superior air stability,and low cost,has been regarded as one of the most promising solid-state electrolytes for next-generation solid-state lithium batteries(SSLBs).Unfortunately,the commercialization of SSLBs is still impeded by severe interfacial issues,such as high interfacial impedance and poor chemical ***,we proposed a simple and convenient in-situ approach to constructing a tight and robust interface between the Li anode and LATP electrolyte via a SnO_(2)gradient buffer *** is firmly attached to the surface of LATP pellets due to the volume expansion of SnO_(2)when in-situ reacting with Li metal,and thus effectively alleviates the physical contact loosening during cycling,as confirmed by the mitigated impedance ***,the as-formed SnO_(2)/Sn/LixSn gradient buffer layer with low electronic conductivity successfully protects the LATP electrolyte surface from erosion by the Li metal ***,the LixSn alloy formed at the Li surface can effectively regulate uniform lithium deposition and suppress Li dendrite ***,this work paves a new way to simultaneously address the chemical instability and poor physical contact of LATP with Li metal in developing low-cost and highly stable SSLBs.

A review of research progress in air-to-water sound transmission

International and domestic research progress in theory and experiment and applications of the air-to-water sound transmission are presented in this paper. Four classical numerical methods of calculating the underwater sound field gener- ated by an airborne source, i.e., the ray theory, the wave solution, the normal-mode theory and the wavenumber integration approach, are introduced. Effects of two special conditions, i.e., the moving airborne source or medium and the rough air-water interface, on the air-to-water sound transmission are reviewed. In experimental studies, the depth and range distributions of the underwater sound field created by different kinds of airborne sources in near-field and far-field, the longitudinal horizontal correlation of underwater sound field and application methods for inverse problems are reviewed.

Oxidation and mechanical Properties of SiC/SiC-MoSi_2-ZrB_2 Coating for Carbon/Carbon Composites

To improve oxidation resistance of carbon/carbon （C/C） composites, a SiC/SiC-MoSi2-ZrB2 double-layer ceramic coating was prepared on C/C composites by two-step pack cementation. The phase compositions and microstructures of as-prepared multilayer coating were characterized by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The oxidation resistance at 1773 K and the effect of thermal shock between 1773 K and room temperature on mechanical performance of coated specimens were investigated. The results show that the SiC/SiC-MoSi2-ZrB2 coating exhibits dense structure and is composed of SiC, Si, MoSi2 and ZrB2. It can protect C/C composites from oxidation at 1773 K for more than 510 h with weight loss of 0.5%. The excellent anti-oxidation performance of the coating is due to the formation of SiO2-ZrSiO4 complex glassy film. The coating can also endure the thermal shocks between 1773 K and room temperature for 20 times with residual flexural strength of 86.1%.

基于应力发光的应力传感技术因其独特的机械-光子转换性质在柔性电子、结构健康诊断、生物力学工程和自供电显示等领域显示出巨大的潜力.然而,应力发光传感技术面临的一大挑战是当施加的机械载荷超过其强度极限时,具有典型无机@有机结构的应力发光传感材料将被损坏,从而降低其传感系统的可靠性和耐久性.本文提出了一种自修复方法,即通过构建聚硼硅氧烷/聚二甲基硅氧烷(PBS/PDMS)双网络结构来解决传感材料的失效问题.PBS网络中的动态硼酸酯键提供自愈合能力,化学交联的PDMS网络使应力发光材料保持良好的弹性和结构稳定性.这种双网络结构材料的力学性能和应力发光性能即使在遭受致命的断裂后也能得到有效恢复,室温下修复10分钟后拉伸强度恢复率为75%,机械-光子转换效率恢复率近100%.这种自修复的应力发光材料可以极大地促进应力发光技术在复杂、高强度和柔性应力传感中的应用.

Joint formation mechanism of high depth-to-width ratio friction stir welding

High depth-to-width ratio friction stir welding is an attractive method for the joining demands of alum inum profiles, which is sparked with its extrem ely low heat input and high mechanical performance. In this study, the joint form ation mechanism was studied by a num erical model of plastic flow combined with experim ental approaches. A fluid-solid-interaction algorithm was proposed to establish the coupling model, and the material to be welded was treated as non-New tonian fluid. The thread structure and the milling facets on tool pin prom oted drastic turbulence of material. The thread structure converged the plasticized material by its inclined plane, and then drove the attached material to refill the welds. The milling facets brought about the periodic dynamic material flow. The thread structure and the milling facets increased the strain rate greatly under the extremely low heat input, which avoided the welding defects. The condition of the peak tem perature of 648 K and the strain rate of 151 s^-1 attributed to the lowest coarsening degree of precipitate. The tensile strength of the joint reached 265 MPa, equivalent to 86% of base material. The amelioration via the material flow model inhibits the welding defects and optimizes the param eter intervals, providing references to extracting process-structure-property linkages for friction stir welding.

Control and application of cooling path after rolling for hot strip based on ultra fast cooling

Hot rolled strip requires diverse and flexible control of cooling path in order to take full advantages of strengthening mechanisms such as fine grain strengthening, precipitation strengthening, and transformation strengthening, adapting to the development of advanced steel materials and the requirement of reduction-manufacturing. Ultra fast cooling can achieve a great range of cooling rate, which provides the means that the hardened austenite obtained in high temperature region can keep at different dynamic transformation temperatures. Meanwhile, through the rational allocation of the UFC (ultra fast cooling) and LFC (laminar flow cooling), more flexible cooling path control and cooling strategy of hot rolled strip are obtained. Temperature distribution and control strategies under different cooling paths based on UFC are investigated. The process control temperature can be limited within 18 °C, and the mechanical properties of the steels get a great leap forward due to the cooling paths and strategies, which can decrease costs and create great economic benefits for the iron and steel enterprises.

Magnesium(Mg)based alloys are promising candidates for many applications,but their untreated surfaces usually have low strength and *** this study,a single point diamond turning(SPDT)technique was applied to refine the grain size and improve the mechanical properties of the surface layers of Mg-Li *** refining grains in the topmost layer to the nanometer scale(~60 nm),the surface hardness was found to be enhanced by approximately 60%.The atomic plastic deformation process during the SPDT was then studied by the real-time atomistic molecular dynamics(MD)simulations.A series of MD simulations with different combinations of parameters,including rake angle,cutting speed and cutting depth,were conducted to understand their influences on the microstructural evolution and associated plastic deformation mechanisms on the surface layer of the *** MD simulation results suggest that using increased rake angle,cutting speed and cutting depth can help to achieve better grain *** simulation results,which provide atomic-level details of the deformation mechanism,can assist the parameter design for the SPDT techniques to achieve the high-performance heterogeneous nanostructured materials.

Psychoacoustic Study on Contribution of Fan Noise to Engine Noise

There are more researches on engine fan noise control focusing on reducing fan noise level through optimizing fan structure,and a lot of research achievements have been ***,researches on the effect of fan noise to engine noise quality are *** influences of the effects of fan structure optimization on the engine noise quality are ***,there will be a decline in fan noise level,but the deterioration of engine noise *** at the above problems,in consideration of fan structure design and engine noise quality,an innovative method to analyze the contribution of fan noise to engine noise quality using psychoacoustic theory is *** noises of diesel engine installing different cooling fans are measured by using the acoustic pressure *** experiment results are regarded as analysis *** model of sensory pleasantness is used to analyze the sound quality of a diesel engine with different cooling *** show that after installing 10-blade fan in medium diameter the sensory pleasantness at each test point is increased,and the increase is 13.53% on average,which indicate the improvement of the engine noise *** order to verify the psychoacoustical analysis,the subjective assessment is carried *** test result shows the noise quality of engine installed10-blade fan in medium diameter is most superior.1/3 octave frequency spectrum analysis is used to study the reason of the improvement of engine noise *** is found that after installing proper cooling fan the sound pressure level below 400 Hz are obviously increased,the frequency assignment and spectral envelope are more reasonable and a proper cooling fan can optimize the spectrum structure of the engine *** psychoacoustic study is applied in the contribution of fan noise to engine noise,and the idea of engine sound quality improvement through the structure optimization is proposed.

Microstructure characteristics of laser forming repaired Ti60 alloy

The microstructure characteristics of laser forming repaired （LFR） Ti60 （Ti-5.6Al-4.8Sn-2Zr-1Mo-0.35Si- 0.3Nb） as-deposited and annealed samples are analyzed. The microstructure of as-deposited repaired zone （RZ） consists of epitaxial columnar prior β grains, in which fine woven α laths and βphase between α laths exist. The heat-affected zone （HAZ） experiences a continuous microstructural transition from duplex microstructure of the base metal zone （BMZ） to the microstructure of RZ. The presence of silicide precipitates is observed in both RZ and BMZ in an annealed sample by transmission electron microscopy. They are identified as （Ti, Zr）6Si3 distributed mainly at The fine α2 precipitates are detected in BMZ by electron the α/β interface with the size of 100-300 nm diffraction; there was no α2 detected in RZ.
