The burgeoning market for lithium-ion batteries has stimulated a growing need for more reliable battery performance monitoring. Accurate state-of-health(SOH) estimation is critical for ensuring battery operational performance. Despite numerous data-driven methods reported in existing research for battery SOH estimation, these methods often exhibit inconsistent performance across different application scenarios. To address this issue and overcome the performance limitations of individual data-driven models,integrating multiple models for SOH estimation has received considerable attention. Ensemble learning(EL) typically leverages the strengths of multiple base models to achieve more robust and accurate outputs. However, the lack of a clear review of current research hinders the further development of ensemble methods in SOH estimation. Therefore, this paper comprehensively reviews multi-model ensemble learning methods for battery SOH estimation. First, existing ensemble methods are systematically categorized into 6 classes based on their combination strategies. Different realizations and underlying connections are meticulously analyzed for each category of EL methods, highlighting distinctions, innovations, and typical applications. Subsequently, these ensemble methods are comprehensively compared in terms of base models, combination strategies, and publication trends. Evaluations across 6 dimensions underscore the outstanding performance of stacking-based ensemble methods. Following this, these ensemble methods are further inspected from the perspectives of weighted ensemble and diversity, aiming to inspire potential approaches for enhancing ensemble performance. Moreover, addressing challenges such as base model selection, measuring model robustness and uncertainty, and interpretability of ensemble models in practical applications is emphasized. A physical cut model is used to describe the changes in the stress-strain state （SSS） in elastoplastic bodies weakened by cracks. The distance between the crack edges is considered to be finite in contrast to the mathematical cut. The interactive layer with a thickness limited by the possibility of using the hypothesis of continuity is distinguished on the physical cut extension, Distribution of stresses and strains over the layer thickness is constant and does not depend on the geometry of the boundary between the cut and the interactive layer. The relationship between stresses and strains is determined by the deformation plasticity theory. The problem of plane strain or plane stress state of an arbitrary finite body weakened by a physical cut is reduced to solving a system of two variational equations for displacement fields in the body parts adjacent to the interactive layer. The proposed approach eliminates the singularity in stress distribution in contrast to the mathematical cut model. Use of local strength criteria allows us to determine the time, point and direction of the fracture initiation. Possibilities of the proposed model are illustrated by solving the problems of determining the SSS of a rectangular body weakened by a physical cut under symmetric and antisymmetric loadings.

Measurement-based one-way quantum computation, which uses cluster states as resources, provides an efficient model to perforrn computation. However, few of the continuous variable （CV） quantum algorithms and classical algorithms based on one-way quantum computation were proposed. In this work, we propose a method to implement the classical Hadamard transform algorithm utilizing the CV cluster state. Compared with classical computation, only half operations are required when it is operated in the one-way CV quantum computer. As an example, we present a concrete scheme of four-mode classical Hadamard transform algorithm with a four-partite CV cluster state. This method connects the quantum computer and the classical algorithms, which shows the feasibility of running classical algorithms in a quantum computer efficiently.

Many previous studies about teleportation are based on pure state. Study of quantum channel as mixed state is more realistic but complicated as pure states degenerate into mixed states by interaction with environment, and the Werner state plays an important role in the study of the mixed state. In this paper, the quantum wireless multihop network is proposed and the information is transmitted hop by hop through teleportation. We deduce a specific expression of the recovered state not only after one-hop teleportation but also across multiple intermediate nodes based on Werner state in a quantum wireless multihop network. We also obtain the fidelity of multihop teleportation.

Vehicle state and tire-road adhesion are of great use and importance to vehicle active safety control systems. However, it is always not easy to obtain the information with high accuracy and low expense. Recently, many estimation methods have been put forward to solve such problems, in which Kalman filter becomes one of the most popular techniques. Nevertheless, the use of complicated model always leads to poor real-time estimation while the role of road friction coefficient is often ignored. For the purpose of enhancing the real time performance of the algorithm and pursuing precise estimation of vehicle states, a model-based estimator is proposed to conduct combined estimation of vehicle states and road friction coefficients. The estimator is designed based on a three-DOF vehicle model coupled with the Highway Safety Research Institute（HSRI） tire model; the dual extended Kalman filter （DEKF） technique is employed, which can be regarded as two extended Kalman filters operating and communicating simultaneously. Effectiveness of the estimation is firstly examined by comparing the outputs of the estimator with the responses of the vehicle model in CarSim under three typical road adhesion conditions（high-friction, low-friction, and joint-friction）. On this basis, driving simulator experiments are carried out to further investigate the practical application of the estimator. Numerical results from CarSim and driving simulator both demonstrate that the estimator designed is capable of estimating the vehicle states and road friction coefficient with reasonable accuracy. The DEKF-based estimator proposed provides the essential information for the vehicle active control system with low expense and decent precision, and offers the possibility of real car application in future.

Multi-state autonomous drilling for lunar exploration

Due to the lack of information of subsurface lunar regolith stratification which varies along depth, the drilling device may encounter lunar soil and lunar rock randomly in the drilling process. To meet the load safety requirements of unmanned sampling mission under limited orbital resources, the control strategy of autonomous drilling should adapt to the indeterminable lunar environments. Based on the analysis of two types of typical drilling media （i.e., lunar soil and lunar rock）, this paper proposes a multi-state control strategy for autonomous lunar drilling. To represent the working circumstances in the lunar subsurface and reduce the complexity of the control algo- rithm, lunar drilling process was categorized into three drilling states： the interface detection, initi- ation of drilling parameters for recognition and drilling medium recognition. Support vector machine （SVM） and continuous wavelet transform were employed for the online recognition of drilling media and interface, respectively. Finite state machine was utilized to control the transition among different drilling states. To verify the effectiveness of the multi-state control strategy, drilling experiments were implemented with multi-layered drilling media constructed by lunar soil simulant and lunar rock simulant. The results reveal that the multi-state control method is capable of detecting drilling state variation and adjusting drilling parameters timely under vibration interferences. The multi-state control method provides a feasible reference for the control of extraterrestrial autonomous drilling.

Solid-state phase transformation plays an important role in adjusting the microstructure and thus tuning the properties of materials. A general modular, analytical model has been widely applied to describe the kinetics of solid-state phase transformation involving nucleation, growth and impingement; the basic conception for iso-kinetics which constitutes a physical foundation for the kinetic models or recipes can be extended by the analytical model. Applying the model, the evolution of kinetic parameters is an effective tool for describing the crystallization of enormous amorphous alloys. In order to further improve the effectiveness of this kinetic model, recently, the recipes and the model fitting procedures were extended, with more factors （e.g., anisotropic growth, soft impingement, and thermodynamic driving force） taken into consideration in the modified models. The recent development in the field of analytical model suggests that it is a general, flexible and open kinetic model for describing the solid-state phase transformation kinetics.
