Modern achievements of interventional cardiology in treatment of coronary heart disease (CHD) have significantly increased frequency of interventions and volume of contrast media (CM). Contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CIAKI) associated with CM administration is determined by 26.5 μmol/l increase in serum creatinine (sCr) within 48 - 72 hours or >?1.5-fold sCr increase versus its known or estimated level in the previous 7 days. Without effective disease management, prevention with early CIAKI risk stratification and cessation of nephrotoxic medications taken by patients are important. Given significant complexity in existing CIAKI treatment, modern therapeutic options are limited only to adequate renal injury prevention. The problem’s significance and diagnostic limitations associated with sCr definition require search for clinically and diagnostically significant AKI biomarkers. In terms of coronarography and percutaneous coronary interventions, several studies have been conducted on clinical and diagnostic significance of some biomarkers. This article characterizes and discloses prospective practical use of neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL), liver-type fatty acid binding protein (L-FABP), kidney injury molecule-1 (KIM-1), cystatin C (CysC) and interleukins-6,8,18 (IL-6,8,18) in interventional cardiology.

Genesis of the oldest continental crust retains a marked trace in the Earth’s evolution over its 4.5 Ga history. Despite ample isotope data on the role of the continental crust in the Earth’s evolution, there has been much debate on the origin of grey gneisses and tonalite-trondhjemite-granodiorites (TTG). Precise U-Pb (ID-TIMs) and sHRIMP data on single zircon for paragneisses and TTG (3158.2 ± 8.2 Ma) have indicated the Central-Kola and Belomorian (White sea) megablocks of the Fennoscandian shield to be 3.16 Ga and 3.70 Ga, respectively. The newly obtained ages of zircon from these megablocks indicate the origin of the discrete continental crust to be 3.16 and 3.70 Ga. It is close to the Nordsim zircon data on the siurua TTG (Finland), which are 3.45 and 3.73 Ga in the core. The new summarized data on the Earth’s oldest rocks (basement and continental crust) indicate the younger age of the rocks in the Fennoscandian shield as compared to those in Australia (Kronendonk et al., 2019).

A method based on regression modeling was developed to discern the contribution of component chemicals to the toxicity of highly complex, environmentally realistic mixtures of disinfection byproducts（DBPs）. Chemical disinfection of drinking water forms DBP *** of concerns about possible reproductive and developmental toxicity, a whole mixture（WM） of DBPs produced by chlorination of a water concentrate was administered as drinking water to sprague–Dawley（s–D） rats in a multigenerational study. Age of puberty acquisition,i.e., preputial separation（PPs） and vaginal opening（VO）, was examined in male and female offspring, respectively. When compared to controls, a slight, but statistically significant delay in puberty acquisition was observed in females but not in males. WM-induced differences in the age at puberty acquisition were compared to those reported in s–D rats administered either a defined mixture（DM） of nine regulated DBPs or individual DBPs. Regression models were developed using individual animal data on age at PPs or VO from the DM study. Puberty acquisition data reported in the WM and individual DBP studies were then compared with the DM models. The delay in puberty acquisition observed in the WM-treated female rats could not be distinguished from delays predicted by the DM regression model, suggesting that the nine regulated DBPs in the DM might account for much of the delay observed in the WM. This method is applicable to mixtures of other types of chemicals and other endpoints.

Unusual reliefs on the Earth’s surface were found in aerial photographs of Eastern siberia in the late 20sup>thsup> century. These reliefs consist of several tens (up to hundreds) of stripes that have arisen as a result of the destruction of vegetation and the surface layer of the ground. structures of stripes are extended, ranging in size from 6 km to ≥20 km, with a width of several kilometers. Every strip (scratch on the ground) is roughly estimated to be up to 50 m wide and ≥500 m long. The stripes start from one edge of the relief and stretch at inter-vals to the other, slightly diverging symmetrically from the central axis. It was determined that these reliefs are not associated with the movement of soil (avalanches, mudflows) or with the impact of air currents (hurricanes, storm, tornado). Geographically, these struc-tures of stripes are located within a circle with a radius of 770 km, described around the epicenter of the Tunguska catastrophe.

One of the key points in the physics of the relaxors is their response to the applied DC *** studies of this topic were made,in particular on the influence of the field on the dielectric ***,practically,in all the cases,the measurements were performed at a fixed frequency and usually with the change in the temperature at the fixed field *** this paper,we report the evolution of the dielectric spectra at low frequencies(0.1 Hzs used to describe the spectra and the field dependences of the mean relaxation timeτ,the oscillation strengthΔεand the width parameterαwere *** obtainedτ(E)andΔε(E)provide evidence of the field-induced transition from the nonpolar glass-like phase to the nonpolar paraelectric phase at around 1.5 kV/*** the paraelectric phase,very fast hardening of the spectra was observed withτchanging from 10 s to about 10−4 *** performed analysis demonstrated that the earlier reported positive C-V effect is completely determined by the spectra hardening,whileΔεdoes not show any change in the glass-like phase and monotonously decreases with a field increase in the paraelectric *** complete understanding of the microscopic origin of the observed phenomena,a detailed study on the short-and long-range structures at the same condition is necessary.

During the period 1966.5-2006.2 the 15 GHz and 8 GHz light curves of 3C 454.3 （z = 0.859） show a quasi-periodicity of ,-12.8 yr （-6.9 yr in the rest frame of the source） with a double-bump structure. This periodic behaviour is interpreted in terms of a rotating double-jet model in which the two jets are created from the black holes of a binary system and rotating with the period of the orbital motion. The periodic variations in the radio fluxes of 3C 454.3 are suggested to be mainly due to the lighthouse effects （or the variation in Doppler boosting） of the precessing jets caused by the orbital motion. In addition, variations in the rate of mass accreting onto the black holes may be also involved.
