With the rapid development of fifth-generation mobile com-munication technology and wearable electronic devices,electromagnetic interference and radiation pollution caused by electromagnetic waves have attracted worldwide ***,the design and development of highly efficient EMI shielding materials are of great *** this work,the three-dimensional graphene oxide(GO)with regular honeycomb structure(GH)is firstly constructed by sacrificial template and freeze-dry-ing ***,the amino functionalized FeNi alloy particles(f-FeNi)are loaded on the GH skeleton followed by in-situ reduction to prepare rGH@FeNi ***,the rGH@FeNi/epoxy EMI shielding com-posites with regular honeycomb structure is obtained by vacuum-assisted impregnation of epoxy *** from the construction of regular honeycomb structure and electromagnetic synergistic effect,the rGH@FeNi/epoxy composites with a low rGH@FeNi mass fraction of 2.1 wt%(rGH and f-FeNi are 1.2 and 0.9 wt%,respectively)exhibit a high EMI shielding effectiveness(EMI sE)of 46 dB,which is 5.8 times of that(8 dB)for rGO/FeNi/epoxy composites with the same rGO/FeNi mass *** the same time,the rGH@FeNi/epoxy composites also possess excellent thermal stability(heat-resistance index and temperature at the maximum decomposition rate are 179.1 and 389.0°C respectively)and mechanical properties(storage modulus is 8296.2 MPa).

HIV-1 envelope glycoprotein is reported to interact with α4β7, an integrin mediating the homing of lymphocytes to gut-associated lymphoid tissue, but the significance of α4β7 in HIV-1 infection remains controversial. Here, using HIV-1 strain Ba L, the gp120 of which was previously shown to be capable of interacting with α4β7, we demonstrated that α4β7 can mediate the binding of whole HIV-1 virions to α4β7-expressing transfectants. We further constructed a cell line stably expressing α4β7 and confirmed the α4β7-mediated HIV-1 binding. In primary lymphocytes with activated α4β7 expression, we also observed significant virus binding which can be inhibited by an anti-α4β7 antibody. Moreover, we investigated the impact of antagonizing α4β7 on HIV-1 infection of primary CD4+ T cells. In α4β7-activated CD4+ T cells, both anti-α4β7 antibodies and introduction of shorthairpin RNAs specifically targeting α4β7 resulted in a decreased HIV-1 infection. Our findings indicate that α4β7 may serve as an attachment factor at least for some HIV-1 strains. The established approach provides a promising means for the investigation of other viral strains to understand the potential roles of α4β7 in HIV-1 infection.

We conducted a cross-sectional study to establish the effect of proximity of livestock to a wildlife-livestock interface on the relative abundance of intra-erythrocytic hemoparasites in cattle. Blood samples were obtained from 131 randomlyselected cattle raised around Queen Elizabeth National Park. Cattle-farm location was determined by using Global Positioning system device from an arbitrarily reference point. Giemsa-stained blood smears were examined microscopically for intra-erythrocytic hemoparasites. Correlational analysis was used to examine the relationship between farm location and prevalence, whereas risk ratios were used to determine the strength of mixed hemoparasitic infections among cattle, using a significant level of α = 0.05. The location of a cattle farm significantly predicted the prevalence of Anaplasma (rs = 0.33, p 0.05) and Theileria (rs = 0.57, p 0.01) but, farm’s proximity to QENP did not explain the variation in the prevalence of Babesia (rs = 0.14, p 0.2). Although mixed infections occurred in 15% of sampled cattle, concurrent infection of cattle with A. marginale and B. bigemina [RR = 36;95% CI (7.191);p which was recorded. This study demonstrated that unlike the prevalence of B. bigemina, the prevalence of T. parva and A. marginale in livestock significantly increased with close proximity to a wildlife-livestock interface.

The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)and its mutant viruses are still wreaking global havoc over the last two years,but the impact of human activity on the transmission of the pandemic is difficult to *** human dynamic spatiotemporal distribution can help in our understanding of how to mitigate COVID-19 spread,which can help in maintaining urban health within a county and between counties within a *** distribution can be computed using the Volunteered Geographic Information(VGI)of the citizens in conjunction with other variables,such as climatic conditions,and used to analyze how human’s daily density distribution quantitatively affects COVID-19 *** on the estimated population density,when the population density increases daily by 1 person/km^(2) in a county or prefectural-level administrative unit with an average size of 26,000 km^(2),the county would have an additional 3.6 confirmed cases and 0.054 death cases after 5 days,which is the illness onset time for a new COVID-19 *** 14 days,which is the maximum incubation period of the COVID-19 virus,there would be 5 new confirmed cases and 0.092 death ***,in neighboring regions,there can be 0.96 fewer people infected with COVID-19 on average per day as a result of strong intervention of local and neighboring *** primary innovation and contribution are that this is the first quantitative assessment of the impacts of dynamic population density on the COVID-19 ***,the direct and indirect effects of the impact are estimated using spatial panel *** models that control the unobserved factors improve the reliability of the estimation,as validated by random experiments and the use of the Baidu migration dataset.

Background Postoperative chylothorax occurs due to trauma to lymphatic vessels and can occur after any thoracic *** study reviewed recent literature to evaluate the management and outcomes of surgical chylothorax in *** PubMed database was searched for articles in English,Portuguese and spanish from 2000 to *** were collected for surgery,chylothorax management,complications,mortality and length of hospital stay(LOs).Results Twenty studies offered 107 neonates:congenital diaphragmatic hernia(CDH)(n=76,71%),cardiac malforma-tions(n=25,23.4%),esophageal atresia(n=5,4.7%)and CDH+extralobar sequestration(n=1,0.9%).Medium-chain tri-glycerides(MCT)was the initial treatment in 52 neonates(48.6%),prednisolone+MCT in one(0.9%),total parenteral nutri-tion in 51 patients(47.7%),and three patients(2.8%)did not require any *** and somatostatin were used as second or third line treatment in 25 neonates(23.4%),and 15 neonates(14%)underwent 17 surgeries,including thoracic duct ligation(TDL)(n=9);pleurodesis(n=3)(2 patients required TDL);TDL+pleurodesis(n=2),and TDL+placement of hemostat(n=1).Complications due to the chylothorax were reported in 27 neonates(25.2%):hypoalbuminemia+hypona-tremia(n=18),hypoalbuminemia(n=4),hypoalbuminemia with cutaneous flushing as colateral effect of somatostatin(n=1),loose stool after somatostatin use(n=1),pneumonia(n=1),congestive heart failure+hypernatremia(n=1),and hyponatremia(n=1).There were 21 deaths(19.6%)and median LOs was 53.4 days(30-93.1 days).Conclusions Conservative management is appropriate as initial treatment for neonatal postsurgical *** and somatostatin are safe in neonates and surgical approach should be considered in prolonged leaks.
