Pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms(pNENs)are rare and highly heterogeneous tumors originating from pluripotent stem cells with neuroendocrine differentiation in the pancreas,constituting approximately 3%of all pancreatic tumors.^([1])The global incidence of pNENs has been increasing recently,and most cases are sporadic and more common in women.^([1,2])pNENs are clinically divided into functioning and nonfunctioning tumors depending on whether the tumors are accompanied by a clinical syndrome related to specific hormone overproduction.

Sacrificial metallic coatings are an effective strategy for mitigating corrosion in steel operating in industrial environments. This review article focuses on examining the protection mechanism of zinc-aluminum-magnesium(Zn-Al-Mg) coatings on steel substrates. Specifically, it investigates the effects of various elements and their corrosion products on the corrosion resistance of Zn-Al-Mg coatings. Furthermore, this review summarizes the formation mechanisms of various specialized corrosion modes that occur following the corrosion of Zn-Al-Mg coatings, based on previous experimental findings. It also includes suggestions for further research areas that could contribute to the development of highly corrosion-resistant and long-lasting coatings. These suggestions are based on published laboratory and field test results available in literature.

周围神经系统内的雪旺细胞具有强大的再生潜力。目前的研究表明,周围神经相关的雪旺细胞具有促进多种组织修复的能力,包括周围神经间隙桥接、皮肤伤口愈合、指尖修复以及牙齿再生。专门修复的雪旺细胞的关键特征之一是它们变得高度能动。它们不仅迁移到受损组织区域,成为组织再生的关键组成部分,还分泌信号分子来吸引巨噬细胞,支持神经元存活,促进轴突再生,激活局部间充质干细胞,并与其他细胞类型相互作用。目前,迁移性雪旺细胞在组织再生中的重要性在周围神经横断损伤的情况证据最为充分。神经横断后,来自近端和远端神经残端的雪旺氏细胞均迁移到神经桥中并形成雪旺细胞索以引导轴突再生。神经桥中雪旺细胞索的形成是横断损伤后周围神经成功修复的关键。本篇综述首先探讨了神经桥的形成以及神经桥中雪旺细胞迁移的行为,然后讨论迁移的雪旺细胞如何将再生轴突引导到远端神经中。我们还回顾了目前对可激活雪旺细胞迁移的信号以及雪旺细胞用于指导轴突再生的信号的理解。了解雪旺细胞迁移的分子机制可能为周围神经修复提供新的治疗策略。

星形胶质细胞是脑内神经胶质细胞中数量最多的一种类型,对脑血管系统具有重要的影响。它们参与调控血管周围内稳态、血脑屏障的完整性、与外周免疫系统的交流、血液中代谢物的转移以及与神经元活动相应的血管收缩。这些调控过程发生在由血管周围星形胶质细胞突起组成的几乎完全覆盖了脑血管特殊界面中。科学家直到最近才开始研究这种界面的形成方式及其如何影响脑血管功能。本文综述了有关星形胶质细胞在调节脑血管系统中作用的文献。涵盖了胶质血管界面的解剖结构和发育、已知的胶质血管功能和分子因素、后者在某些病理生理情况下的作用以及最近开发的用于检验星形胶质细胞在血管界面作用的尖端实验工具。最后,本综述重点介绍了该研究领域中的一些尚未解决的问题。

Lianhua Qingke tablets, a patented traditional Chinese medicine that has validated clinical efficacy for treating cough caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 infection, lack rigorous evidence-based research evaluating their effect on long coronavirus disease(COVID) cough. A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter clinical study was conducted among patients with long COVID cough from 19 hospitals and 23 community health centers in China. Patients were randomized 1:1 to receive either Lianhua Qingke tablets or placebo orally for 14 days(four tablets, 1.84 g, three times a day). The primary endpoint indicator was the disappearance of cough, with the remission of cough also considered. Among 482 randomized patients, 480(full analysis set 480; per-protocol set 470; safety set 480) were included in the primary analysis. According to the full analysis, the time until cough disappearance was significantly shorter in the trial group than in the control group, with a significant increase in the 14-day cough disappearance rate. Accordingly, the time to cough remission was significantly shorter in the trial group than in the control group. The change in the total symptom score was significantly greater in the trial group than in the control group on days 7 and 14, consistent with the results indicated by the visual analog scale(VAS) and cough evaluation test(CET) scores. No serious adverse events were recorded during the study. Lianhua Qingke tablets significantly improved the clinical symptoms of patients with long COVID cough.
