Influence of supercritical CO_(2)on the physical property of tight sandstone

In low-pressure gas reservoirs,water-based fracture fluid is difficult to flowback,which is unfavorable for several tight sandstone gas reservoirs in the Sichuan Basin with low pressure and high permeability geological *** CO_(2)possesses a number of remarkable physical and chemical features,including a density near to water,a viscosity close to gas,and high *** CO_(2)fracturing is a new type of non-aqueous fracturing method that is favorable to fracturing flowback in low-pressure tight sandstone and has a wide range of *** discuss on whether supercritical CO_(2)fracturing with low pressure tight sandstone is *** sandstone cores from the Jinqiu gas field in the Sichuan Basin were used to study the influence of supercritical CO_(2)on the physical properties of sandstone *** CO_(2)was used to interact with tight sandstone samples,and then the changes in porosity,permeability,and rock microstructure of tight sandstone were observed under various time,pressure,and temperature *** the interaction between tight sandstone and supercritical CO_(2),new dissolution pores will appear,or the original pores will be increased,and the width of some natural fractures will also be increased,and the porosity will increase by 1.09%-8.85%,and the permeability will increase by 2.34%-21.26%,quantifying the influence of supercritical CO_(2)on physical properties of tight sandstone,and further improving the interaction mechanism between supercritical CO_(2)and tight *** study improves in the understanding of the tight sandstone-supercritical CO_(2)interaction mechanism,as well as providing an experimental foundation and technological guarantee for field testing and use of supercritical CO_(2)in low-pressure tight sandstone gas reservoirs.

Inducing piezoelectricity in distorted rutile TiO_(2)for enhanced tetracycline hydrochloride degradation through photopiezocatalysis

Various material design strategies have been developed to enhance photocatalytic performance of TiO_(2).However,no report is available on applications of the photopiezocatalysis strategy on TiO_(2)due to its lack of *** we developed a low-temperature molten salt etching process to create rutile TiO_(2)nanoparticles by etching[MgO_(6)]octahedrons away from MgTiO_(3)by molten NH_(4)Cl,during which a lattice distortion occurred in TiO_(2).The lattice distortion broke the structure symmetry of rutile TiO_(2)and subsequently endowed these rutile TiO_(2)nanoparticles with an unusual piezoelectric response with the maximum effective piezoelectric coefficient(d_(33))of~41.6 pm/V,which had not previously been found in TiO_(2)***,the photopiezocatalysis strategy was applied for the first time to enhance the photocatalytic performance of these TiO_(2)*** creation of lattice distortion to induce piezoelectricity could be extended to other photocatalysts that the photopiezocatalysis strategy has not been applied to and may generate novel functionalities for various technical applications.

Surface Metallization of Glass Fiber(GF)/Polyetheretherketone(PEEK) Composite with Cu Coatings Deposited by Magnetron Sputtering and Electroplating

Surface metallization of glass fiber(GF)/polyetheretherketone(PEEK)[GF/PEEK] is conducted by coating copper using electroplating and magnetron sputtering and the properties are determined by X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), and electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD).The coating bonding strength is assessed by pull-out tests and scribing in accordance with GB/T *** results show that the Cu coating with a thickness of 30 μm deposited on GF/PEEK by magnetron sputtering has lower roughness, finer grain size, higher crystallinity, as well as better macroscopic compressive stress,bonding strength, and electrical conductivity than the Cu coating deposited by electroplating.

Twin-SSB signal reception without optical SSB filters based on self-coherent detection

Dater center interconnection has stimulated the development of short-reach optical communication transmission. To increase the capacity of the single sideband(SSB) system with direct-detection(DD), the twin-SSB system can double the system capacity without an extra optical modulator. Recently, the Stokes vector receiver(SVR) bridges the coherent detection and DD. A carrier can be sent along with the signal so that the SVR can utilize the reference carrier to conduct self-coherent detection and realize a linear complex optical detection, which is similar to the coherent receiver. In this paper, we propose a twin-SSB reception without optical SSB filters based on self-coherent detection. The proposed scheme greatly reduces the implementation complexity and has higher spectral efficiency(SE) compared with the traditional twin-SSB signal detection where two narrow-band optical filters and guard band are used for SSB signal extracting and inter crosstalk suppression. Meanwhile, the proposed twin-SSB signal detection with self-coherent detection also helps to relax the receiver digital signal processing(DSP), since the self-coherent detection reduces the inter crosstalk between the twin-SSB. The twin-SSB reception with self-coherent detection scheme makes it suitable for future high-speed short and medium-reach applications, such as the data center interconnect and metro area network.

In semiconductor photocatalysts,the easy recombination of photogenerated carriers seriously affects the application of photocatalytic materials in water *** solve the serious problem of electron−hole pair recombination in perylene diimide(PDI)organic semiconductors,we loaded ferric hydroxyl oxide(FeOOH)on PDI materials,successfully prepared novel FeOOH@PDI photocatalytic materials,and constructed a photo-Fenton *** system was able to achieve highly efficient degradation of BPA under visible light,with a degradation rate of 0.112 min^(−1)that was 20 times higher than the PDI system,and it also showed universal degradation performances for a variety of emerging organic pollutants and anti-interference *** mechanism research revealed that the FeOOH has the electron trapping property,which can capture the photogenerated electrons on the surface of PDI,effectively reducing the compounding rate of photogenerated carriers of PDI and accelerating the iron cycling and H2O2 activation on the surface of FeOOH at the same *** work provides new insights and methods for solving the problem of easy recombination of carriers in semiconductor photocatalysts and degrading emerging organic pollutants.
