Intestinal oxidation-reduction balance is essential to protect host health. research on the underlying mechanisms of oxidation homeostasis can provide conditions to the treatment or protection of intestinal oxidative stress. Therefore， the mechanism of polysaccharide (MBP) with alkali-extracted from mung bean skin in alleviating oxidative damage induced by H2O2-induced in Intestinal epithelial cells (IEC)-6 cells was explored. Results indicated that MBP effectively mitigated the H2O2-induced decrease in IEC-6 cell viability， restored superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity， lowered malondialdehyde (MDA) content， and decreased reactive oxygen species (ROS) level. Western blotting showed that MBP may mitigate oxidative damage through NF-κB， MAPK and Nrf2 signaling pathway， and RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) analysis confirmed that MBP can protect cells by regulating MAPK and NF-κB signaling pathways. Moreover， the results of the inhibitor experiment also support the above hypothesis. These results verified that MBP has the capacity to mitigate oxidative damage induced by H2O2in IEC-6 cells through MAPK and NF-κB signaling pathway. The study showed that MBP can assist preventing intestinal diseases relating to oxidative stress， which could facilitate the development of functional foods.

Ferritin has emerged as a promising nanocarrier for delivering therapeutic agents to ***,the limited drug loading and the off-target impacts after systemic administration remain challenges for cancer treatment with ferritin-based ***,we develop a microneedle patch loaded with ferritin-nanocaged doxorubicin(DoxFe@Fn/MN)for skin cancer ***,doxorubicin(Dox)is encapsulated in ferritin(Fn)using an iron core-assisted strategy,which results in a 3.4-fold increase in Dox loading compared to the direct loading ***,a polyvinyl alcohol-based microneedle(MN)patch is used for the transdermal delivery of DoxFe@Fn,enabling targeted tumour accumulation of DoxFe@Fn and preventing off-target *** released DoxFe@Fn can bind to CD71 highly expressed on skin cancer cells,facilitating its *** a result,the DoxFe@Fn/MN therapy presents a robust antitumour effect in a melanoma tumour model,showing its potential as a promising therapeutic modality for skin cancer treatment.

Finite element method(FEM) was used to simulate the forming process of shotpeening the wing skin panel. Experiment of shotpeeing the wing skin panel was carried out. The results show that equivalent deformation in shotpeening process can be obtained using the elongation and bending result caused by thermal stress that is induced by applying temperature load on the surface of the part. Deformation of the part in the shotpeeing process can be analyzed using this method. The parameters and their relationships are identified.

Polymethoxyflavones(PMFs)are a type of uncommon dietary flavonoids,characterized by more than one methoxy group,which exist in limited plant species,like Citrus species and Kaempferia *** addition,different PMFs,such as nobiletin,sinensetin,tangeretin,and casticin,have been isolated from these natural *** have received increasing attention due to their multiple bioactivities,such as antioxidant,anti-inflammatory,anti-cancer,metabolic regulatory,immunoregulatory,neuroprotective,and skin protective *** bioactivities of PMFs should be associated with the regulation of critical molecular targets and the interaction with gut *** order to provide a comprehensive and updated review of PMFs,their natural sources,refined extraction,biosynthesis,metabolism,and bioactivities are summarised and discussed,with the emphasis on the molecular mechanisms of PMFs on regulating different chronic ***,PMFs may be promising flavonoids to the forefront of nutraceuticals for the prevention and/or treatment of certain human chronic diseases.

A versatile sensing platform employing inorganic MoS_(2) nanoflowers and organic poly(3,4-ethylene dioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS)has been investigated to develop the resistive and capacitive force-sensitive *** microstructure of the sensing layer heightens the sensitivity and response time of the dual-mode pressure sensors by augmenting electron pathways and inner stress in response to mechanical ***,the capacitive and resistive sensors exhibit sensitivities of 0.37 and 0.12 kPa^(-1),respectively,while demonstrating a remarkable response time of approximately 100 ***,it is noteworthy that the PEDOT:PSS layer exhibits excellent adhesion to polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)substrates,which contributes to the development of highly robust force-sensitive sensors capable of enduring more than 10000loading/unloading *** combination of MoS_(2)/PEDOT:PSS layers in these dual-mode sensors has shown promising results in detecting human joint movements and subtle physiological ***,the sensors have achieved a remarkable precision rate of 98%in identifying target *** outcomes underscore the significant potential of these sensors for integration into applications such as electronic skin and human-machine interaction.

Delaying skin-aging through diet is a hot research topic in recent years， but the anti-aging effects of fish gelatin and related mechanisms are not well understood. In this study， we prepared edible fish gelatin from the swim bladder of Cynoscion acoupa using three different processing methods， namely dried (DCM)， soaked (SCM) and instanted (ICM)， to investigate its anti-aging effects and mechanisms on D-galactose induced skin aging in mice， as well as its effects on the gut microbiota. The results demonstrated that fish gelatin significantly increased water content， collagen， hyaluronic acid (HA) and hyaluronic acid (HYP) content， and skin integrity of mice skin， as well as enhanced the antioxidative ability and anti-inflammatory capacity of the skin. In terms of protein and mRNA expression levels in skin tissue， CMs treated with different treatments can up-regulate the expression of EGFR and TIMP1， down-regulating the expression of MMP1 and MMP3， and increase the expression of COL3A1 and COL1A2. CMs attenuated the D-galactose-mediated inhibition collagen expression by stimulating the TGF-β/Smad signaling pathway， thereby maintaining collagen matrix homeostasis. In addition， we revealed that CMs reversed gut micribiota by increase the abundance of intestinal flora. In conclusion， we demonstrated that CMs， especially for ICM， as an effective dietary supplement， have potential anti-aging and skin health benefits.

Remodel the perifollicular microenvironment via Minoxidil-loaded microneedle patch and cold atmospheric plasma for treating androgenetic alopecia

＜正＞Non-melanoma skin cancer （NMSC） is the most common human cancer worldwide. In Australia, NMSC is three times as common as all other cancer types combined. NMSC includes solar keratosis （SK）, a benign tumour, which can progress into the malignant squamous cell carcinoma （SCC）. The greatest risk factor for the development of SCC is exposure to ultraviolet radiation （UVR）;an early event in skin cancer development is UVR-induced mutations in p53. Little is known as to whether additional mutations to other molecules are necessary to cause SK to progress to SCC. Brm （Brahma） might be implicated in the progression of SK to SCC. Our group found via microarray analyses that Brm expression was significantly reduced in SCC relative to SK, suggesting a role for the molecule as a tumour suppressor. Brm is the core ATPase-containing component of the SWI/SNF chromatin-remodelling complex. Loss of Brm has been identified in -10% of primary lung adenocarcinomas, whilst knockout of Brm in mice leads to abnormalities in cell growth. Our aim is to determine the role of Brm in skin cancer progression via the manipulation of Brm expression in immortalised human keratinocytes （HaCaT cells）. This will be achieved using two methods: RNA-interference will be used to knock-down Brm mRNA expression in HaCaT cells, whilst a dominant-negative mutant of Brm will be used to competitively inhibit the function of wild-type Brm. Effects of Brm manipulation will be assayed using engineered human skin and Boyden chamber assays. We hypothesise that reduced functionality of Brm will lead to abnormal differentiation and stratification of the engineered epidermis, as well as enhancing invasion of the basement membrane.

Androgenetic alopecia(AGA)is a chronic and progressive form of hair loss characterized by vascular degeneration in the perifollicular microenvironment,leading to cell apoptosis and eventual loss of hair follicles(HFs).Traditional therapeutic formulations,such as Minoxidil(MXD)tincture,have limitations in reshaping the perifollicular microenvironment and exhibit limited ***,we report a multi-synergistic therapeutic platform for high-performance hair regeneration *** platform combines microneedle(MN)patches loaded with MXD-encapsulated nanostructured lipid carriers(MXD-NLC-MNs)and cold atmospheric plasma(CAP).The MNs’mechanical strength enables efficient transdermal delivery of MXD to the targeted dermal papilla cells,promoting cell ***,in collaboration with MXD,the mechanical stimulation exerted by MN application synergistically upregulates the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor,leading to ***,the transient microchannels in the skin created by MNs facilitate the transdermal delivery of CAPgenerated nitric oxide(NO)to the sites of HF lesions,whereby the synergistic interaction between MXD and NO boosts perifollicular ***,the perifollicular microenvironment can be effectively reshaped to accelerate hair regeneration in AGA murine *** multi-synergistic combination therapy strategy would hold great promise for effectively treating AGA and promoting hair regrowth.
