Facile Synthesis of ZnO-Au Nanopetals and Their Application for Biomolecule Determinations

Using dextran as both reductant and stabilizing agent, nanopetals(ZnO-Au NPs) were easily synthesized and possessed a petal-like morphology. The feature structure and size of such ZnO-Au NPs were adjustable by regulating the amount of chloroauric acid(HAuCl4). Moreover, the electrochemical property of the obtained NPs was evaluated by being immobilized on the glassy carbon electrode(GCE), which performed both high sensitivity and stability in dopamine(DA) determinations. Furthermore, the as-prepared ZnO-Au NPs could also detect DA and uric acid(UA) simultaneously in the mixture without interference, indicating good selectivity and showing promising potential in biosensing.

The huge resources potential of shale oil has been paid more and more attention. The method to correctly evaluate the shale oil potential is the key for resources evaluation. Some foreign scholars argued that the amount of hydrocarbon-bearing per unit organic carbon （S1/TOC） was effective to determine the producible shale oil, known as ＂Oil crossover ＂, while the method has some limitation when used to evaluate the enrichment of shale oil.

On 10th Oct.and 3rd Nov.2018,two successive landslides occurred in the Jinsha River catchment at Baige Village,Tibet Autonomous Region,China.The landslides blocked the major river and formed the barrier lake,which finally caused the huge flood disaster loss.The hillslope at Baige landslide site has been still deforming after the 2018 slidings,which is likely to fail and block the Jinsha River again in the future.Therefore the investigation of 2018 flood disaster at the Baige landslide is of a great significance to provide a classic case for flood assessment and early warning for the future disaster.The detailed survey revealed that the outstanding inundations induced bank collapse disasters upstream the Baige landslide dams,and the field investigations and hydrological simulation suggested that the downstream of the Baige landslide were seriously flooded due to the two periods of the outburst floods.On these bases,the early warning process of potential outburst floods at the Baige landslide was advised,which contains four stages:Outburst Flood Simulating Stage,Outburst Flood Forecasting Stage,Emergency Plan and Emergency Evacuation Stage.The study offers a conceptual model for the mitigation of landslides and flood disasters in the high-relief mountain-ous region in Tibet.

[Objectives]This study was conducted to investigate characteristics of the human TCF7 L2 gene promoter.[Methods]The 2000 bp sequence of the 5’regulatory region of the human TCF7 L2 gene was obtained from the UCSC genome database.The promoter,transcription factor binding sites,CpG islands,SNPs and so on were analyzed by a variety of online softwares.[Results]The bioinformatics analysis results showed there were at least 5 potential promoters in the positive-sense strand of the 2000 bp sequence,among which-242--192 bp,-853--803 bp might contain core promoters.A TATA box and a CpG island with a length of 499 bp were found.241,944 and 1035(positive-sense strand)transcription factor binding sites were predicted by the AliBaba2.1,PROMO and JASPAR softwares,respectively.207 common transcription factor binding sites in the conserved region of human and mouse homologous TCF7 L2 gene promoter were identified with CONREAL program,involving 66 kinds of transcription factors.Two SNPs were found in the promoter region.[Conclusions]The promoter of the human TCF7 L2 gene was analyzed by bioinformatics,and the promoter characteristics were obtained.

The reasoning of judgment documents is the touchstone of justice. Attaching importance to the reasoning of judgment documents is essentially the embodiment of judiciary civilization. In order to promote the reform of judgment documents reasoning and improve the level of it, the technology of automated judgment documents reasoning evaluation has to be studied on. How to build evidence chain relational model is the basis and key to this technology.An approach is proposed to build evidence chain relational model based on Chinese judgment documents. Using automated text preprocessing for Chinese judgment documents creates semi-structured XML documents and extracts evidence set and fact set. The method of key elements extraction is used to obtain the keywords of evidence and facts. Calculating the degree of association can work out the connection points of evidence chain relational model. Tabular display and graphical display of evidence chain relational model can be realized.

Laser melting deposition with WC addition has been developed to fabricate high-strength CrMnFeCoNibased high-entropy alloys-based composites.By this technique,a microstructure of compact refined equiaxed grains can be achieved,and the tensile strength can be remarkably improved.The sample with 5 wt%WC addition shows a promising mechanical performance with a tensile strength of 800 MPa and an elongation of 37%.The improvement in mechanical property may be attributed to the formation of Cr(23)C6 reinforcement precipitates,which could promote the heterogeneous nucleation of grains and hinder the propagation of slip bands.

Characteristics of DC arcs in a multi-arc generator and their application in the spheroidization of SiO2

We investigate characteristics of multi-arc torches with three pairs of electrodes(three cathodes and three anodes)and their performance on the spheroidization of SiO2 powder.The effect of electrode arrangement,including adjacent pattern(AD pattern,adjacent electrodes powered by one power supply)and opposite pattern(OP pattern,opposite electrodes powered by one power supply),on the dynamics of arc plasma is investigated based on synchronous acquisition of electrical and optical signals.The results show that both the voltage and spatial distribution of each arc of multiple arcs are more stable compared with those of a single arc.The fluctuation of an arc in multiple arcs mainly comes from the small-scale arc-to-arc restrikes among multiple arcs.Moreover,these arc-to-arc restrikes occur more frequently among multiple arc columns in OP pattern than in AD pattern.Moreover,the high-temperature area of the central region of arc chamber in OP pattern is larger than that in AP pattern.For the spheroidization of SiO2 in this multi-arc generator,the spheronization degrees of plasma treated silica in OP pattern are at least 20%higher than those in AD pattern.

Distribution of Landslides in Baoshan City,Yunnan Province,China

Using Google Earth software as a platform,this study has established an integrated database of both old and new landslides in Baoshan City,Yunnan Province,China,and analyzed their development characteristics together with distribution rules,respectively.Based on the results,a total of 2427 landslides occurred in the study area,including 2144 new landslides and 283 old landslides,with a total area of about104.8 km^2.The new landslides are mostly in small-scales with an area less than 10000 m^2,while the area of individual old landslide is mostly larger than 10000 m^2.By analyzing the relationship between the two types of landslides and eight impact factors(i.e.,elevation,slope angle,slope aspect,slope position,lithology,fault,regional Peak Ground Acceleration(PGA),and average annual rainfall),the different individual influencing factors,distribution regularities and mechanisms of the two types of landslides are revealed.In detail,the main influencing factors of new landslides are elevation,slope angle,slope aspect,slope position,lithology,regional PGA and average annual rainfall,while the influencing factors of old landslides are mainly elevation,slope angle,and lithology.This study provides basic data and support for landslide assessment and further disaster reduction in Baoshan City.Besides,it also provides new constraints in deeply understanding the effect of different topographic and geological conditions,historical earthquakes,rainfall and other factors on the occurrence mechanisms of both new landslides and old landslides.
