Heterosis Analysis in Endogenous Substances in Root Bleeding Sap of Sorghum

Despite hybrid dominance contributing to the genetic improvement of crops,little is known about heterosis and inheritance patterns of endogenous substances in sorghum(Sorghum bicolor(L.)Moench)root bleeding *** this study,six sterile and six restorer lines of sorghum and 36 hybrid sorghum combinations formulated as incomplete double-row crosses were selected as test materials,and heterosis,combining ability,heritability,and their interrelationships of root bleeding sap endogenous substances in different hybrid sorghum combinations and their parents were *** results showed that the root bleeding sap of the F1 generation of hybrid sorghum had a high heterosis in both soluble sugar content and amino acid content at the flowering stage,and the average high-parent heterosis was 129.34%and 74.57%,***-3-acetic acid(IAA),cytokinins(CTK),gibberellic acid(GA_(3)),abscisic acid(ABA),soluble sugar,amino acid,and root bleeding intensity were mainly affected by non-additive genetic effects of the *** protein was affected by additive genetic effects of the genes and had a high narrow heritability(75.50%),which could be selected at low generations in *** combining ability analyses showed that the sterile lines 521A and 170A,and the restorer lines Ji318R and 0–30 were promising parents with high general combining *** analysis showed that all endogenous substances of root bleeding sap were positively correlated with the sum of parental general combining ability(GCA)at highly significant levels,and IAA,CTK,GA_(3),ABA,soluble sugar,amino acid,and root bleeding intensity were positively correlated with male GCA at significant or highly significant ***,the GCA of the restorer lines root bleeding sap endogenous material or the sum of both parents’GCA can be used to predict the performance of wounding endogenous material in the F1 generation of hybrid ***,this study results can help elucidate hetero

The rational design of effective bifunctional electrocatalysts is of paramount importance for overall water-splitting technology in sustainable energy ***,bimetallic oxide catalysts(RuO_(2)-Co_(3)O_(4))derived from Ru combined MOF-derivatives(MOF=metal-organic framework)were demonstrated effective for overall water splitting in an alkaline solution,owing to the combined merits such as the two-dimensional interconnected network structure,the synergetic coupling effects and increased chemical *** as-prepared RuO_(2)-Co_(3)O_(4) only requires an overpotential of 260 mV for oxygen evolution and 75 mV for hydrogen evolution at 10 mA/cm^(2) in 1 M KOH solution;a low cell voltage of 1.54 V was required to reach the kinetic current density of 10 mA/cm^(2) for the water electrolysis when supporting on glass carbon electrode,and very good stability for 40 h was *** and theoretical results demonstrated the electronic structure optimization of bimetallic RuO_(2)-Co_(3)O_(4) compared to the individual metal oxide,which promoted interface charges redistribution and the d-band center downshift,resulting in increased activity and stability for water-splitting *** work provides a feasible approach for developing bimetallic oxides for application in energy-relevant electrocatalysis reactions.

The spin characteristics of black holes offer valuable insights into the evolutionary pathways of their progenitor *** is crucial for understanding the broader population properties of black *** hierarchical Bayesian inference techniques employed to discern these properties often demand substantial time,and consensus regarding the spin distribution of binary black hole(BBH)systems remains *** this study,leveraging observations from GWTC-3,we adopted a machine learning approach to infer the spin distribution of black holes within BBH ***,we developed a deep neural network(DNN)and trained it using data generated from a Beta *** training strategy,involving the segregation of data into 10 bins,not only expedites model training but also enhances the versatility and adaptability of the DNN to accommodate the growing volume of gravitational wave *** Monte Carlo-bootstrap(MC-bootstrap)to generate observation-simulated samples,we derived spin distribution parameters:α=1.3_(-0.18)^(+0.25),β=1.70_(-0.29)^(+0.24)for the larger BH sample and α=1.37_(-0.20)^(+0.31),β=1.63_(-0.20)^(+0.30) for the smaller BH *** our constraints,the distributions of component spin magnitudes suggest the likelihood of both black holes in the BBH merger possessing non-zero spin.

LiBr as a promising redox mediator(RM)has been applied in Li-O_(2)batteries to improve oxygen evolution reaction kinetics and reduce ***,the redox shuttle of Br_(3)^-can induce the unexpected reactions and thus cause the degradation of LiBr and the corrosion of Li anode,resulting in the poor cyclability and the low round-trip ***,MgBr_(2)is firstly employed with dual functions for Li-O_(2)batteries,which can serve as a RM and a SEI film-forming *** Br^(–)is beneficial to facilitating the decomposition of Li_(2)O_(2)and thus decreasing the ***,a uniform SEI film containing Mg and MgO generates on Li anode surface by the in-situ spontaneous reactions of Mg^(2+)and Li anode in an O_(2)environment,which can suppress the redox shuttle of Br_(3)^-and improve the interface stability of Li anode and *** from these advantages,the cycle life of Li-O_(2)battery with MgBr_(2)electrolyte is significantly extended.

Prediction of Wordle Scores Based on ARIMA and LSTM Models

This paper examines the effectiveness of the Differential autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) model in comparison to the Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) neural network model for predicting Wordle user-reported scores. The ARIMA and LSTM models were trained using Wordle data from Twitter between 7th January 2022 and 31st December 2022. User-reported scores were predicted using evaluation metrics such as MSE, RMSE, R2, and MAE. Various regression models, including XG-Boost and Random Forest, were used to conduct comparison experiments. The MSE, RMSE, R2, and MAE values for the ARIMA(0,1,1) and LSTM models are 0.000, 0.010, 0.998, and 0.006, and 0.000, 0.024, 0.987, and 0.013, respectively. The results indicate that the ARIMA model is more suitable for predicting Wordle user scores than the LSTM model.

The article examines Wutopia Lab’s transformation of the Water Tower Home(shuita zhijia,also know as‘House on the House’),a top-floor unit of a residential building converted from a water tower located in a Bulinli lilong neighbourhood in *** 2015,the top-floor unit was transformed into a three-bedroom apartment,which was featured in a popular reality TV show Dream *** the concept of‘raumplan’as the primary design strategy,the design deploys various heights and platforms to re-organise the internal space while largely maintaining the exterior appearance of the *** deliberately avoided homogeneous visual control and accommodated the residents’complex functional requirements within a highly restricted *** research scrutinises various actors’involvement during the production of the reality TV show and the transformation *** highlights how the design team navigated the stakeholders’complex needs and the rigid yet ambiguous policy related to the regeneration of Shanghai’s unofficial urban *** reflecting upon the various formal and informal design practices in this structure and its eventual demolition,the article illustrates the dilemmas in bottom-up regeneration of the historic urban environment in contemporary China.

Intelligent In-Vehicle Safety System Based on Yolov5

In order to reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents and assist drivers to avoid dangerous driving. This paper presents a smart in-vehicle safety system that utilises the Yolov5 algorithm. Yolov5 algorithm is used to anticipate driver fatigue and distraction behaviours, and remind drivers to pay attention to safe driving in time. The system continuously splits the frames and analyses the frame content through the video feedback from the front camera, compared to the traditional machine learning, Yolov5’s mosaic data is enhanced, resulting in a batch size enhancement of 92.3%, and it also uses the Drop Block mechanism to prevent overfitting. The hardware of this system uses STM32 microcontroller and uses system DMA interrupt control and buzzer alarm device to warn about dangerous driving behaviour.

p53 kinetics plays a key role in regulating cell *** on the p53 gene regulatory network composed by the core regulatory factors ATM,Mdm2,Wipl,and PIDD,the effect of the delays in the process of transcription and translation of Mdm2 and Wipl on the dynamics of p53 is studied theoretically and *** results show that these two time delays can affect the stability of the positive *** the increase of delays,the dynamics of p53 presents an oscillating ***,we also study the effects of PIDD and chemotherapeutic drug etoposide on the kinetics of *** model indicates that(i)PIDD low-level expression does not significantly affect p53 oscillatory behavior,but high-level expression could induce two-phase kinetics of p53;(ii)Too high and too low concentration of etoposide is not conducive to p53 *** results are in good agreement with experimental ***,we consider the infuence of internal noise on the system through Binomial r-leap *** simulations reveal that high-intensity noise completely destroys p53 dynamics in the deterministic model,whereas low-intensity noise does not alter p53 ***,for the stable focus,the internal noise with appropriate intensity can induce quasi-limit cycle oscillations of the *** work may provide the useful insights for the development of anticancer therapy.
