Phthalonitrile Resins Derived from Vanillin: Synthesis, Curing Behavior, and Thermal Properties

Vanillin was used as sustainable source for phthalonitrile monomer synthesis, and allyl/propargyl ether moieties were introduced to improve the processability at the minimal co.t of thermal properties. The synthesis route was optimized to minimize side-reactions and simplify post-processing, and the monomers were obtained in high purity and good yields. The curing behavior, mechanism, and processability of the monomers were studied, and the thermal properties of cured polymers were evaluated. Of the two monomers, the allyl ether-co.taining one exhibited a wide processing window of 185 °C, and was mainly cured into phthalocyanine and linear aliphatic structures through self-catalytic curing process. Also, the glass transition temperature was higher than 500 °C. In co.trast, the propargyl ether-co.taining monomer co.ld only be partially cured, and heat resistance was found to be co.promised. co.pared with traditional petroleum-based phthalonitrile resins, the biobased monomers co.ld be cured without the addition of catalysts, and improvement in processability was achieved at no co.t of thermal performances.

Gas quenching and vacuum quenching process are widely applied to accelerate solvent volatilization to induce nucleation of perovskites in blade-co.ting *** this work,we found these two pre-crystallization processes lead to different order of crystallization dynamics within the perovskite thin film,resulting in the differences of additive *** then tailor-designed an additive molecule named 1,3-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)thiourea to obtain films with fewer defects and holes at the buried interface,and prepared perovskite solar cells with a certified efficiency of 23.75%.Furthermore,this work also demonstrates an efficiency of 20.18%for the large-area perovskite solar module(PSM)with an aperture area of 60.84 cm^(2).The PSM possesses remarkable co.tinuous operation stability for maximum power point tracking of T_(90)>1000 h in ambient air.

In order to improve the production efficiency of electroslag remelting process and the solidification quality of electroslag ingot,a novel electroslag furnace with electromagnetic stirring was designed and the effects of external magnetic field and different electrical parameters on electroslag remelting process were *** distribution of carbon,chromium,phosphorus and co.pactness in electroslag ingot was analyzed through original position analysis *** show that the external magnetic field accelerates the remelting of co.sumable *** the co.dition of remelting voltage of 34 V and current of 1500 A,the remelting rate of metal co.sumable electrode increases from 20 to 27 mm min−1 when the magnetic induction intensity of 62×10^(−4) and 108×10^(−4) T is ***,the remelting current decreases from 1500 to 1100 A under the co.dition of co.stant remelting rate and remelting voltage,thereby reducing the energy *** effect of external magnetic field on the segregation of different elements in electroslag ingot is *** the experimental co.ditions,the carbon segregation is unremarkable,but the phosphorus segregation is improved when the electromagnetic force generated by the interaction between the external magnetic field and the remelting current is ***,the excessive electromagnetic force aggravates the segregation of carbon and *** the increase in electromagnetic force,the chromium segregation gradually increases.

The MgO - CaO clinkers were prepared by light burnt and calcining Yanfeag dolomite （〈 0. 088 and 〈 0. 045 mm） , and then were modified via hydration carhonation technology. Th, e synthesis co.ditions including particle size of the starting materials, the light burnt and calcining temperatures were optimized. The morphology of the modified clinkers surface was observed via SEM, the growth pattern and crystal morphology of the modifled layer and the hydration resistance of the clinkers u,ere researched. The results show that ：（1） the suitable light burnt temperature is 850 ℃ ; （2） the suitable cal- cining temperature is 1 650 ℃; （ 3 ） after hydration carbonation, a dense and uniform Caco. layer with a certain thickness is jormed on the surface of the clinkers; prolonging the modtfieation duration can obviously en- hance the hydration resistance of the clinkers; particle size plays an important role in the formation and growth of Caco. on the surface.

Effect of Pre-deformation on Grain Ultrafining by Intercritical Deformation in Low-Carbon Microalloyed Steels

In this study, the effect of pre-deformation at recrystallization and non-recrystallization zone on the grain ultrafining by the subsequent intercritical deformation （ID） was investigated on low-carbon microalloyed steel. The results showed that ultrafine grain microstructure with an average size of - 1.0 μm was fabricated through pre-deformation in the recrys- tallization zone followed by ID. When pre-deformed at the non-recrystallization zone prior to ID, the grain size increased to 1.6 μm with a heterogeneous distribution along with the well-developed dynamic reco.ery of ferrite. The grain ultrafining mechanism was attributed to the co.bined action of the deformation-induced ferrite transformation and the co.tinuous dynamic recrystallization. In particular, the co.tinuous dynamic recrystallization process during ID occurred on the pro-eutectoid ferrite as a result of the subgrain rotation mechanism and the absorbing dislocations mechanism.
