The water soluble coal tar pitches(WS-CTPs)were successfully prepared and used to construct the MnO_(2)@C composite materials by a hydrothermal *** is interestingly observed that the structures and morphologies of MnO_(2)@C materials can be controlled by controlling the dosages of WS-CTPs and ***,it is aware that MnO_(2)exists in the MnO_(2)@C materials in an amorphous *** with MnO_(2),MnO_(2)@C materials output a remarkable improvement in electrochemical *** instance,MnO_(2)@C-0.3 shows the storage capacity at 965.7 mA h g^(−1)after 300 cycles at a current density of 0.1 A g^(−1).In addition,after 600 cycles at a current density of 1.0 A g^(−1),the storage capacity of MnO_(2)@C-0.3 still keeps 450.3 mA h g^(−1),indicating that MnO_(2)@C-0.3 owns tremendous cycle stability at a high current *** view of the fact that the coal tar pitches possess great cost advantages,the strategy of using WS-CTPs as a carbon source to cover the metal oxides is a competitive way to expand the application of metal oxides in the fabrication of electrodes of LIBs.

Using cemented paste backfill to tackle the phosphogypsum stockpile in China:A down-to-earth technology with new vitalities in pollutant retention and co_(2) abatement

Phosphogypsum(PG),a hard-to-dissipate by-product of the phosphorus fertilizer production industry,places strain on the biogeochemical cycles and ecosystem functions of storage *** pervasive problem is already widespread worldwide and requires careful *** this study,we review the presence of potentially toxic elements(PTEs)in PG and describe their associations with soil properties,anthropogenic activities,and surrounding ***,we review different ex-/in-situ solutions for promoting the sustainable management of PG,with an emphasis on in-situ cemented paste backfill,which offers a cost-effective and highly scalable opportunity to advance the value-added recovery of ***,concerns related to the PTEs'retention capacity and long-term effectiveness limit the implementation of this ***,given that the large-scale demand for ordinary Portland cement from this conventional option has resulted in significant co_(2) emissions,the technology has recently undergone additional scrutiny to meet the climate mitigation ambition of the Paris Agreement and China's Carbon Neutrality ***,we discuss the ways by which we can integrate innovative strategies,including supplementary cementitious materials,alternative binder solutions,co_(2) mineralization,co_(2) curing,and optimization of the supply chain for the profitability and sustainability of PG ***,to maximize the co-benefits in environmental,social,and economic,future research must bridge the gap between the feasibility of expanding these advanced pathways and the multidisciplinary needs.

Effects of Different Raw Materials and Additions on Wave Transparency of Alumina Fiber Products

Fiber products for microwave kilns were prepared using alumina fibers with alumina contents of 72 mass%and 80 mass%,and calcined alumina powder(4-6μm)as the main raw materials,silica sol as the binder,and cationic starch as the *** of different raw materials and their additions on the wave transparency of fiber products were *** results show that as the alumina fiber(72%)addition increases,the heating rate of the samples first decreases and then increases,and the corresponding wave transparency of the sample first increases and then *** the alumina fibers addition is 40 mass%and the alumina powder addition is 30 mass%,the prepared microwave kiln lining material has a higher mullite content,which improves the wave transparency of the *** sample prepared from alumina fibers with an alumina content of 80%has a suitable glass-mullite phase ratio,performs lower overall dielectric constant and good wave transparency,and is a suitable lining material for microwave kilns.

Multi-physical fields distribution in billet during helical electromagnetic stirring:A numerical simulation research

Electromagnetic stirring is one of the widely applied techniques to modify the quality of casting *** from conventional rotate stirring,the helical stirring is more professional in assisting multi-dimensional flow of molten metal and eliminating solidification *** this study,the single-winding helical stirring(SWHS)was introduced,offering advantages such as smaller volume and lower electromagnetic shielding compared to traditional helical stirring *** a comprehensive numerical simulation,the stirring parameters of SWHS were adjusted to yoke inclination angle of 43°and frequency of 12 *** higher electromagnetic force and flow velocity in drawing direction,as well as the lower temperature gradient induced by the SWHS,are positive factors for homogeneous solidification of *** experimental results on Al-8%Si alloy and 0.4%C-1.1%Mn steel demonstrate that compared to rotate stirring,the SWHS process can induce better billet quality and is more effective in accelerating the equiaxed expansion and reducing element *** SWHS process can enhance the equiaxed ratio of the billet by 58.3%and reduce segregation degree of carbon element by 10.97%.consequently,SWHS holds great promise as a potential approach for improving the quality of continuous casting billets.

Optimal Scheduling of Regional Integrated energy Systems considering Hybrid Demand Response

Flexible load can optimize the load curve,which is an important means to promote renewable energy *** peculiarities of electricity,heat,cooling and gas loads are analyzed in this paper,considering the fuzzy degree of human perception for water temperature,and the characteristic model of hot water load is *** the fuzzy degree of human perception of ambient temperature,the characteristic model of cooling load is established by using PMV and PPD ***,considering four combinations of cut load,translatable load,transferable load and alternative load,and considering the coupling relationship of composite parts,different response models of load are established *** the minimum cost of the system,including operation and compensation costs as the objective function,the optimization scheduling model of the regional integrated energy system is established,and the Gurobi solver is used for simulation analysis to solve the optimal output and load response curve of each piece of *** results show that the load curve can be optimized,the flexible regulation ability of the regional integrated energy system can be enhanced,the energy loss of the system can be reduced,and the wind power consumption ability of the system can be increased by considering the integrated demand response.

Effect of cooling method on TiN precipitation behavior of high-titanium high-strength steel during solidification

Metallographic microscopy,scanning electron microscopy and TiN growth thermodynamic and kinetic equations were used to investigate the morphology,quantity,and size of TiN in the center of high-titanium high-strength steels under different solidification cooling *** results showed that TiN in the center of the experimental steels mainly existed in three forms:single,composite(Al2O3-TiN),and multi-particle *** began precipitating at around 1497℃(solidification fraction of 0.74).From the end of melting to solidification for 180 s,the cooling rates in the center of the experimental steels for furnace cooling,air cooling,refractory mold cooling,and cast iron mold cooling tended to stabilize at 0.17,0.93,1.65,and 2.15℃/s,*** size of TiN in the center of the experimental steel cooled using furnace cooling was mainly concentrated in the 5-15 pm *** contrast,the size of TiN in the center of the experimental steels cooled using air cooling,refractory mold cooling,and cast iron mold cooling were mainly concentrated in the 1-5 pm *** addition,their density of TiN in the center of the experimental steels is signif-icantly higher than that of the furnace-cooled experimental *** and kinetic precipitation models of TiN established predicted the growth size of TiN in a high-titanium high-strength steel when the solidification cooling rates are not below 0.93℃/s.

Instrumented oscillographic study on impact toughness of an axle steel DZ2 with different tempering temperatures

compared with the conventional Charpy impact test method,the oscillographic impact test can help in the behavioral analysis of materials during the fracture *** this study,the trade-off relationship between the strength and toughness of a DZ2 axle steel at various tempering temperatures and the cause of the improvement in impact toughness was *** tempering process dramatically influenced carbide precipitation behavior,which resulted in different aspect ratios of *** toughness improved along with the rise in tempering temperature mainly due to the increase in energy required in impact crack *** characteristics of the impact crack propagation process were studied through a comprehensive analysis of stress distribution,oscilloscopic impact statistics,fracture morphology,and carbide *** poor impact toughness of low-tempering-temperature specimens was attributed to the increased number of stress concentration points caused by carbide morphology in the small plastic zone during the propagation process,which resulted in a mixed distribution of brittle and ductile fractures on the fracture surface.

A Numerical Study on the Effect of the Backflow Hole Position on the Performances of a Self-Priming Pump

A self-priming pump is a centrifugal pump that has the ability to prime itself. Typically, its performance dependson the configuration of its reflux hole. In this study, the ANSYS FLUENT software is used to investigate the effectsof three different radial positions of the reflux hole on gas-liquid two-phase distribution, pressure pulsation, andimp during self-priming. The research results indicate that: (1) The effective channel size for the reflux liquid toenter the volute varies depending on the location of the reflux hole. The effect of the impeller rotation on thereflux liquid becomes more obvious as the setting distance of the reflux aperture decreases. (2) The position ofthe reflux hole significantly affects the gas phase mass fraction inside the impeller, resulting in a significant reductionin the time it takes for the mass fraction to exceed 80%. (3) The position of the reflux hole significantly affectsthe average pressure on each monitoring surface. (4) Placing the reflux hole at a excessively distant radial distancecan result in an excessive vertical component. (5) The self-priming performance of the pump can be improved tosome extent by placing the return hole at a small radial distance.

Enhanced Electrochemical Properties and Optimized Li^(+)Transmission Pathways of PEO/LLZTO-Based composite Electrolytes Modified by Supramolecular combination

Poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO)and Li_(6.75)La_(3)Zr_(1.75)Ta_(0.25)O_(12)(LLZTO)-based composite polymer electrolytes(CPEs)are considered one of the most promising solid electrolyte ***,agglomeration of LLZTO within PEO and lack of Li^(+)channels result in poor electrochemical ***,a functional supramolecular combination(CD-TFSI)consisting of activeβ-cyclodextrin(CD)supramolecular with self-assembled LiTFSI salt is selected as an interface modifier to coat LLZTO *** from vast H-bonds formed betweenβ-CD and PEO matrix and/or LLZTO,homogeneous dispersion and tight interface contact are ***,^(6)Li NMR spectra confirm a new Li^(+)transmission pathway from PEO matrix to LLZTO ceramic then to PEO matrix in the as-prepared PEO/LLZTO@CD-TFSI CPEs due to the typical cavity structure ofβ-*** a proof,the conductivity is increased from 5.3×10^(-4)S cm^(-1)to 8.7×10^(-4)S cm^(-1)at 60℃,the Li^(+)transference number is enhanced from 0.38 to 0.48,and the electrochemical stability window is extended to 5.1 V versus Li/Li^(+).Li‖LiFePO_(4)CR2032 coin full cells and pouch cells prove the practical application of the as-prepared PEO/LLZTO@CD-TFSI *** work offers a new strategy of interface modifying LLZTO fillers with functional supramolecular combination to optimize PEO/LLZTO CPEs for solid lithium batteries.
