In the paper, we propose a surface wave suppression method in time-frequency domain based on the wavelet transform, considering the characteristic difference of polarization attributes, amplitude energy and apparent velocity between the effective signals and strong surface waves. First, we use the proposed method to obtain time-frequency spectra of seismic signals by using the wavelet transform and calculate the instantaneous polarizability at each point based on instantaneous polarization analysis. Then, we separate the surface wave area from the signal area based on the surface-wave apparent velocity and the average energy of the signal. Finally, we combine the polarizability, energy, and frequency characteristic to identify and suppress the signal noise. Model and field data are used to test the proposed filtering method.

Carbonate,tight sandstone,and shale reservoirs have many pore types,and the relationship between the porosity and elastic parameters is extremely discrete due to the complex pore *** paper presents a method for predicting reservoir pore types based on pore shape *** pore shape substitution allows for accurately characterizing the changes in the elastic properties of the rock with the changes in pore shape,assuming there are no changes in terms of minerals,porosity,or fl *** employing a multiple-porosity variable critical porosity model,the eff ective pore aspect ratio could be inverted from the velocities of the *** perform pore shape substitution,we could replace the eff ective pore aspect ratio with another pore aspect ratio or increase/decrease the volume content of diff erent pore *** reservoir pore types could be evaluated by comparing the differences in the reservoir velocities before and after the substitution of the pore *** test results pertaining to the theoretical model and the well logging data indicated that the pore shape substitution method could be applied to characterize pore types in terms of separating the eff ects of the pore shapes from the eff ects of the minerals,porosity,or fl uids on the velocities.

In order to improve the capability of the RFCC unit for heavy oil conversion, reduce the yields of coke and oil slurry, and increase the economic benefits of the unit, starting August 2007 the sinopec Luoyang Branch company began to apply in its No. 2 RFCC unit the Endurance catalyst featuring strong heavy oil conversion ability, low yields of coke and oil slurry, and high total light liquid yield. The results on calibration of the Endurance catalyst conducted in November 2007 indi-cated that under the circumstances of using deteriorating feedstock quality and lower unit consump-tion of catalyst, the yields of coke, oil slurry and gas decreased by 0.28 %, 1.24 % and 0.35 %, respectively. The light distillate yield and total light liquid yield increased by 0.8 % and 1.88%, respectively.

The Shengtuo oilfield is the largest monolithic oilfield in the Bohai Bay Basin and even in the continental fault basins of Eastern *** discovered in 1963,the Shengtuo oilfield experiences the early exploration stage of rapid reserve discovery and production,the middle exploration stage of high and stable production and development,and the late exploration stage of theoretical and technological innovation for expanding the field of exploration,research on fine development technology of high-water-cut reservoir for enhanced oil recovery,and maintaining slow decline of oil ***-serves of this oilfield increase in each *** the end of 2018,after more than 50 years of exploration and development,the Shengtuo oilfeld has cumulative proven oil reserves of 0.512 x 10°t,cumulative oil production of 0.193 x 109t,and it keeps stable annual production of more than 150 x 105t in *** hydrocarbon resources,large anticline structure near to oil source,multiple types of reservoirs and traps,and favorable hydrocarbon migration channels provide favorable hydrocarbon accumulation conditions for the Shengtuo *** development techniques such water-flooding in the early development stage,fine reservoir description in the high water cut stage,stratigraphic subdivision and well pattem vector adjustment,tapping remaining oil in rhythmic layers,etc,as well as conti nuous progress in exploration technologies of glutenite and turbidite reservoirs around the main body of the oilfield in the high-level exploration stage,provide effective supports for continuous increase of reserves and long-term high and stable production of the Shengtuo oilfeld.

Since sinopec carried out the action plan of dramatically improving oil and gas exploration and development in 2019,oilfield development front has actively overcome the impact of disadvantage factors such as sharp fluctuations in oil prices,recurrent COVID-19 and withdrawal of nature reserves,fully implemented the decision and deployment of company group’s party leadership,focused on improving productivity,controlling decline,increasing recoverable capacity and reducing cost,adhered to the detailed reservoir understanding,precise plan deployment,detailed supporting processes and actuarial development benefits for strengthening the construction of production efficiency,paid close attention to the detailed development of old oilfields,enhanced the promotion and application of significantly improved oil recovery technology,put forth effort on consolidating the foundation of stable production,to make sure the production stable and rising,and oil production exceeded the planned target during the period from 2019 to *** 2022,35.32 million tons oil were produced,with an increase of 0.16 million tons,marking the largest increase in the nearly past four years.

Water shutoff through injection wells is one of the most important techniques used for water injection profile control and modification in severely heterogeneous reservoirs,aiming at stabilizing oil *** has been widely reported that the effectiveness and efficiency of water shutoff using gel is mostly dependent on the gel dynamic sealing properties in the porous *** the gelation strength and gelation time of polymer gel were ***,core flowing experiments were conducted before and after gelation in a 32 m long sand *** addition,water flooding core experiments were also carried out in a long core of 80 cm before and after injecting gel system to check the reliability of this evaluation *** experimental results show that moderate-strength gel can be formed at 65 °*** to the integrated evaluation of the plugging coefficient,plugging strength and water breakthrough time,the gel particles are capable of migrating to a distance of 7.47 m from the injection point of the 32 m long sand pack during the water injection process after *** on sands gelation status and effluent analyses,the effective migration distance of the gel particles is 4-14 *** the core flooding experiments using the 80 cm heterogeneous core,it is evidenced that the gel can be formed in the deep reservoir(40.63% of total length) with the plugging strength as high as 6.33 MPa/m,which leads to extra oil recovery of 10.55% of original oil in place(OOIP) by water flooding after gel treatment.

Carbon isotope reversal of desorbed gas in Longmaxi shale of Jiaoshiba area,Sicuhan Basin

Through analysis of components and carbon isotope compositions of gas desorbed from shale cores,the carbon isotope reversal phenomenon in the shale gas from the Silurian Longmaxi Formation of Jiaoshiba area in Sichuan Basin were well *** showed that compared with the wellhead gas,the desorbed gas from Longmaxi shale had significantly more wet components and more heavy carbon isotope values;carbon isotope values of each component became heavier with the desorption time,δ^(13)C_(1)values of different samples had maximum positive variations of 12.3-23.9‰,butδ^(13)C_(2)values only had maximum positive variations of 0.8e2.3‰,indicating carbon isotope values of methane changed more obviously than that of heavy *** above results were consistent with previous results of shale core desorption experiments carried out by other *** gas in strata might have no carbon isotope reversal,and the phenomenon thatδ^(13)C_(1)values changed more significantly thanδ^(13)C_(2)values during the core desorption was not caused by diffusion rate differences among different components,but mainly due to different desorption stages of methane and ethane,i.e.,the ethane was in its early desorption stage while the methane was in its later desorption stage;during the production process,phase differences among different components of alkane gas and differences in the desorption stages induced by adsorption,could be the major cause for total reversal of carbon isotopes of shale gas in Longmaxi Formation,but it also could not excluded that mixture of kerogen cracking gas and crude oil cracking gas probably had a partial or more major contribution to the carbon isotope reversal.

The Sinian-Cambrian formations of the Sichuan Basin have favorable hydrocarbon accumulation conditions,but the exploration for large-scale gas fields is quite challenging due to old strata and multiple tectonic *** the Weiyuan Sinian large gas field was found in 1964,the largest monoblock gas field(Anyue gasfield)was discovered in the Cambrian Longwangmiao Formation of the Moxi region in 2013 with proven gas reserves of 440.1×109 *** proven,probable and possible reserves exceed one trillion cubic meters in the Sinian Dengying Formation and the Cambrian Longwangmiao Formation of the Gaoshiti-Moxi *** natural gas components,light hydrocarbons,reservoir bitumen abundance and other evidences prove that the dry natural gas was mainly derived from oil-cracking,with methane(a content of 82.65%-97.35%),ethane(a content of 0.01%-0.29%),nitrogen(a content of 0.44%-6.13%),helium(a content of 0.01%-0.06%),and hydrogen sulphide(0.62-61.11 g/m^(3)).gas reservoir pressure increases gradually from the Sinian normal pressure(a pressure coefficient of 1.07-1.13)to high pressure(a pressure coefficient of 1.53-1.70)in the Cambrian Longwangmiao *** temperature of the gas reservoir is 137.5-163 ℃.gas reservoir traps are divided into three categories:tectonic type,tectonic-formation type and tectonic-lithologic *** large-scale enrichment of the Sinian-Cambrian natural gas results from effective configuration of the large stable inherited palaeo-uplift during the Tongwan tectonic movement,wide distribution of ancient source rocks,high-quality reservoirs with vast pore-cavity,crude oil cracking of large palaeo-reservoirs and favorable preservation *** to the palaeo-structure pattern prior to crude oil cracking of the palaeo-reservoirs,and bitumen abundance as well as the distribution characteristics of current gas reservoirs,the accumulation patterns of the cracking gas reservoir can be classified into three types:accumulation type,sem
