This article is focused on the analysis of the international cooperation of the Russian petroleum industry and its development trend. Also discussed here are the patterns that the foreign oil companies used in acquiring Russian petroleum assets, and the cooperation models of petroleum exploration and production in Russia. The Russian government encourages foreign oil companies to establish strategic alliances with domestic companies that keep good relations with the government. To achieve this goal, the government provides foreign companies with the space for cooperation in such aspects as advanced technology and management culture. international cooperation in petroleum industry will be further developed under the macro-control of the Russia State energy strategy. The energy cooperation between China and Russia will enter a new phase full of hopes and challenges after the past unfavorable situation is gradually overcome.

The Hutubi （呼图壁） River reservoir of well block DX12 is a lithologic hydrocarbon reservoir that is under tectonic settings. The main oil-bearing sand body in this area is thin and has a poor transverse connectivity. Because of the complexity of the oil-water relationship, the oil reservoir presents a low resistivity feature, which brings great difficulties to hydrocarbon reservoir identification. This article develops an effective method of well log interpretation that can meet the requirement of low resistivity reservoir well logging evaluation. The authors combine the oil reservoir geology feature, the oil well logging curve characteristics and chemical analytical data to analyze the reasons for low resistivity, then establish the appropriate reservoir parameter explanation model, which uses different saturation computational methods according to different generations. When the clay content is more than 5%, we select W-S dual water model; when the shale content is more than 13%, we use the Schlumberger formula; when the shale content is less then 13%, we use Archie＇s formula. The well logging evaluation method of low resistivity reservoir has been improved by the irreducible water saturation formula which is established by the permeability, the porosity, the coefficient of pore structure and the shale content, hydrocarbon reservoir recognition charts, and the non-resistivity logging methods （repeat formation test （RFT）; modular dynamic test （MDT）, etc.）. The coincidence rate for this arrangement of the well logging integrated interpretation is 82.6% in the well block DX12. It is a powerful direction for low resistivity well log interpretation.

In recent years, with the development of terrestrial sequence stratigraphy, more attention has been focused on the study of the terrestrial lacustrine sequence stratigraphic model globally. Different viewpoints are preferred by researchers. Under the guidance of the theory of sequence stratigraphy, the findings of this paper indicate that climate is a major factor controlling the formation of the fourth-order sequence, based upon the study of the sequence stratigraphy in the Green River Formation of the Uinta basin in the USA. It also divides the fourth-order sequence in the terrestrial lacustrine basin into two system tracts： the wet （rising） half-cycle and the dry （falling） half- cycle, establishing a new-style fourth-order sequence stratigraphic model for the terrestrial lacustrine basin, that is, the climate-genetic sequence stratigraphic model. As a result, the theory of sequence stratigraphy is greatly enriched.

Since 2014, in order to cope with changes in the international oil market, the international oil giants have dynamically adjusted their upstream development strategies, including continuously promoting the "increase in reserves and production", steadily realising "cost reduction and efficiency increase", identifying future development areas, and focusing on overseas business areas. In this process, the international oil giants have implemented upstream strategic adjustment, achieving sound results. First, they have strengthened exploration to obtain oil and gas resources at a lower cost;second, they have implemented M&A and divestiture to optimize their upstream asset portfolios;third, they have strengthened cooperation with resource countries to avoid risks;and fourth, they have attached importance to technology and management innovation in order to improve efficiency. For Chinese oil enterprises, the trends and paths of the upstream strategic adjustment of international oil giants can provide valuable references. Chinese oil enterprises should attach importance to the study of upstream strategies. They should research both the strategic and tactical levels to provide a guarantee for defining the upstream strategy most suitable for their own development. In addition, they should learn from the existing experience of the upstream strategic adjustment of international oil giants in order to support the continuous improvement of the quality and efficiency of their upstream development.

The construction of a shale rock physics model and the selection of an appropriate brittleness index （B/） are two significant steps that can influence the accuracy of brittleness prediction. On one hand, the existing models of kerogen-rich shale are controversial, so a reasonable rock physics model needs to be built. On the other hand, several types of equations already exist for predicting the BI whose feasibility needs to be carefully considered. This study constructed a kerogen-rich rock physics model by performing the self- consistent approximation and the differential effective medium theory to model intercoupled clay and kerogen mixtures. The feasibility of our model was confirmed by comparison with classical models, showing better accuracy. Templates were constructed based on our model to link physical properties and the BL Different equations for the BI had different sensitivities, making them suitable for different types of formations. Equations based on Young＇s Modulus were sensitive to variations in lithology, while those using Lame＇s Coefficients were sensitive to porosity and pore fluids. Physical information must be considered to improve brittleness prediction.

Assuming that oil price follows the stochastic processes of Geometric Brownian Motion （GBM） or the Mean-Reverting Process （MRP）, this paper takes the net present value （NPV） as an economic index and models the PSC in 11 different scenarios by changing the value of each contract element （i.e. royalty, cost oil, profit oil as well as income tax）. Then the NPVs are shown in probability density graphs to investigate the effect of different elements on contract economics. The results show that under oil price uncertainty the influence of profit oil and income tax on NPV are more significant than those of royalty and cost oil, while a tax holiday could improve the contractor＇s financial status remarkably. Results also show that MRP is more appropriate for cases with low future oil price volatility, and GBM is best for high future oil price volatility.

High-quality seismic geometry is the key to obtain high-quality seismic data, and can affect the accuracy of data processing and imaging. Based on the analysis of the relationship between the quality of the geometry and the four acquisition parameters(the number of traces, shot line spacing, and the space and number of receiver lines), a quality evaluation method of the geometry based on comprehensive quality factor(CQF) is proposed, and the relationship between the geometry quality and the four parameters is given. We use field data collected in an oil field in Western China with complex geology: First we use a wide azimuth geometry. Then, we calculate the relationship curve between geometry and data quality by varying each parameter while keeping the rest fixed. and the analysis results are given by using the CQF evaluation method. The results show that the shot-line spacing has the greatest effect on the quality of the geometry, and the increase of the receiver line spacing can appropriately improve the quality of the geometry, and the increase of the number of receiving traces can improve the geometry quality. The different acquisition parameters have different effects on the imaging quality of shallow and deep events. The model forward and prestack depth migration are used to generate prestack depth migration profiles with different acquisition parameters. The imaging results are consistent with the above calculated results. According to the depth of the target layer, the quality factor evaluation method is applied to guide the design of the geometry and optimize the acquisition parameters to improve the imaging accuracy of seismic data.

Weathering has always been a concerned around the world,as the first and most important step in the global cycle of elements,which leads to the fractionation of isotopes on the scale of geological *** Middle Ordovician Majiagou Formation in Daniudi area of the Ordos Basin had experienced weathering for>130 *** thin section observation,major and trace element analysis,carbon,oxygen,and magnesium isotopes composition analysis,the dolomitization modes and weathering of ancient dolo-mite in Daniudi area were analyzed in *** results showed that the Sabkha and brine-reflux dolomitization modes had developed,and the Mg isotopes in different layers of the karst crust were fractionated by various *** vertical vadose zone was affected by weathering,the Mg isotope of dolomite(δ^(26)Mgdol)showed a downward decreasing trend;the horizontal underflow zone was controlled by diagenesis and formation fluid,δ^(26)Mgdol showed a vertical invariance and negative;the main reason for Mg isotope fractionation in the deep slow-flow zone was the brine-reflux dolomitization mode during early burial period,which showed a vertical downward ***,the Mg isotope characteristic data of the ancient weathering crust were provided and the process of Mg isotope frac-tionationinthekarstcrust was explained.
