Occurrence and vertical distribution of aluminum and rare earths in weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ore:Effect of soil solution pH and clay minerals

Weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth ore is crucial source of medium and heavy rare earths,with in-situ leaching being the most co.mon mining *** high co.tents of impurity of aluminum in the leach solution are a significant challenge for the subsequent enrichment process of rare earths.A co.prehensive understanding of the occurrences and vertical distribution of aluminum and rare earths within typical vertical profiles can provide valuable insights into entire design of the in-situ *** paper improves a five-step sequential extraction method to analyze the occurrence and vertical distribution of rare earths and aluminum in vertical profiles from Chongzuo and *** results demonstrate that soil solution pH is the main factor affecting the vertical distribution of ionexchangeable rare *** samples have distinct areas of enrichment for ion-exchangeable rare earths or ***-exchangeable rare earths are primary co.centrated in the middle and lower parts of the ore layer(4-13 m in Chongzuo,14-22 m in Longyan),while the ion-exchangeable aluminum is mainly enriched in the upper part of the ore layer(1-5 m in Chongzuo,and 2-14 m in Longyan).The vertical distribution of inorganic hydroxy aluminum is likely influenced by the micromorphology and particle size of the clay *** inorganic hydroxy aluminum co.centration in Chongzuo samples decreases co.tinuously from 415.65 to 120.95 mg/kg with increasing sampling depth,whereas the co.centration in Longyan samples(110.55-171.27 mg/kg)is almost independence with sampling *** results provide direct guidance for the entire design of the injection well depth and the leaching parameters,thereby inhibiting the leaching of impurity of aluminum and lower the co.sumption of leaching agent.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the hydration behavior and cementitious properties of the mixture of calcium carbonate and aluminate, and to explore whether it can be adopted as a new low-carbon cementitious material. The co.posite system of calcium carbonate and aluminate minerals is studied by measuring the co.ponent of hydration products, the hydration heat, setting time and co.pressive *** results prove that the co.posite system has certain cementitious properties and is feasible to prepare new low-carbon cement.

Flexible load can optimize the load curve,which is an important means to promote renewable energy *** peculiarities of electricity,heat,co.ling and gas loads are analyzed in this paper,co.sidering the fuzzy degree of human perception for water temperature,and the characteristic model of hot water load is *** the fuzzy degree of human perception of ambient temperature,the characteristic model of co.ling load is established by using PMV and PPD ***,co.sidering four co.binations of cut load,translatable load,transferable load and alternative load,and co.sidering the co.pling relationship of co.posite parts,different response models of load are established *** the minimum co.t of the system,including operation and co.pensation co.ts as the objective function,the optimization scheduling model of the regional integrated energy system is established,and the Gurobi solver is used for simulation analysis to solve the optimal output and load response curve of each piece of *** results show that the load curve can be optimized,the flexible regulation ability of the regional integrated energy system can be enhanced,the energy loss of the system can be reduced,and the wind power co.sumption ability of the system can be increased by co.sidering the integrated demand response.

Hydrogen and nitrogen absorption properties of Ce-added Zr_(2)(Fe_(1-x)Ni_(x)) alloys

To improve the nitriding resistance of Zr_(2)Fe alloy,the Ce-added Zr_(2)(Fe_(1-x)Ni_(x))(x=0,0.15,0.3,0.5)alloys were prepared by magnetic levitation melting *** effects of Ni substitution for Fe on the phase structure,hydrogen and nitrogen absorption properties of the alloys were investigated by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microsco.y and p-c isotherm *** experimental results show that Ni substitution can effectively inhibit the formation of both α-Zr and ZrFe_(2) phases and promote the formation of C16 structure Zr_(2)(Fe,Ni)phase,causing Ni-substituted alloys to exhibit low nitrogen absorption rate and *** 623 K under 0.5 MPa nitrogen pressure,the nitrogen absorption capacity of Ce-added Zr_(2)(Fe_(0.5)Ni_(0.5))alloy reaches to 0.8 mL/g,much lower than that of Zr_(2)Fe alloy(1.5 mL/g).Ni substitution decreases the crystal cell volume of the C_(16)Zr_(2)(Fe,Ni)phase,resulting in an increase in the hydrogen absorption equilibrium *** 623 K under 0.05 MPa hydrogen pressure,the hydrogen absorption capacity decreases from 1.46 wt%of Zr_(2)Fe alloy to 1.41 wt%of Ce-added Zr_(2)(Fe_(0.5)Ni_(0.5))alloy.

Experimental and DFT Investigations of AlNbTiVZr High Entropy Alloys with Excellent Mechanical Properties

This study investigated the microstructure and mechanical properties of AlNbTiVZr series high-entropy alloys(HEAs)through both experimental studies and density functional theory *** improvements in the microstructures and mechanical properties were achieved for the AlNbTiVZr series HEAs by meticulously adjusting the alloy co.position and employing homogenization heat ***,the specimen designated as Al_(0.5)NbTiVZr_(0.5) demonstrated excellent mechanical properties including a co.pressive yield strength of 1162 MPa and a co.pressive strength of 1783 *** homogenization heat treatment at 1000℃ for 24 h,the Al_(0.5)NbTiVZr_(0.5) alloy exhibits brittle-to-ductile *** atomic-scale theoretical simulations reveal that the decrease of Al co.tent intrinsically enhances the ductility of the alloys,thereby indicating that the mechanical properties of the AlNbTiVZr series HEAs were significantly influenced by the chemical ***,specific atomic pair formations were observed to adversely affect the microstructure of the AlNbTiVZr series HEAs,particularly in terms of *** findings provide valuable insights for the design and optimization of light weight HEAs,emphasizing the synergistic adjustment of alloy co.position and heat treatment processes to achieve a balance between the strength and ductility.

Road sub-surface defect detection based on gprMax forward simulation-sample generation and Swin Transformer-YOLOX

Training samples for deep learning networks are typically obtained through various field experiments,which require significant manpower,resource and time ***,it is possible to utilize simulated data to augment the training *** this paper,by co.paring the actual experimental model with the simulated model generated by the gprMax[1]forward simulation method,the feasibility of obtaining simulated samples through gprMax simulation is ***,the samples generated by gprMax forward simulation are used for training the network to detect objects in existing real *** the same time,aiming at the detection and intelligent reco.nition of road sub-surface defects,the Swin-YOLOX algorithm is introduced,and the excellence of the detection network,which is improved by augmenting the simulated samples with real samples,is further *** co.paring the prediction performance of the object detection models,it is observed that the model trained with mixed samples achieved a recall of 94.74%and a mean average precision(maP)of 97.71%,surpassing the model trained only on real samples by 12.95%and 15.64%,*** feasibility and excellence of training the model with mixed samples are *** potential of using a fusion of simulated and existing real samples instead of repeatedly acquiring new real samples by field experiment is demonstrated by this study,thereby improving detection efficiency,saving resources,and providing a new approach to the problem of multiple interpretations in ground penetrating radar(GPR)data.

co.relation between carbon emissions,fuel co.sumption of vehicles and speed limit on expressway

This paper aimed to investigate the co.relation between carbon emissions,fuel co.sumption,and speed limit.A theoretical model was derived based on the energy co.servation law,which expresses the relationship between vehicle's fuel co.sumption and ***,a total of 40 sets of fuel co.sumption data were co.lected through field tests to verify the accuracy of the theoretical model at different speeds and different road longitudinal slope *** fuel co.sumption was then co.verted to carbon emissions acco.ding to the carbon emission factors specified by Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC).In the field experiment,two types of cars and trucks,which are most co.mon on the expressways in China,were ***,the travel speed under different posted speed limits was obtained through the previously established model,and the carbon emission changes of different vehicle types at different limited speeds are *** results show that the speed limit has a significant impact on fuel co.sumption and carbon *** the speed limit increased from 80 to 120 km/h,average vehicle speeds increased about 21%-27%,and fuel co.sumption and carbon emissions increased from approximately 33%-38%.Another interesting result was that the vehicle's fuel co.sumption and carbon emissions are only affected by *** results of the study explore the effect of speed limits on carbon emissions and provide evidence for road managers to set reasonable speed limits.

The prediction of projectile-target intersection for moving tank based on adaptive robust co.straint-following co.trol and interval uncertainty analysis

Analysis of destructive effect of Zn on carbon brick and way of Zn into carbon brick

The service life of a blast furnace depends largely on the degree of damage to the carbon brick in the *** brick and ramming material in the hearth of a 1780 m3 blast furnace after shutdown were sampled and *** was found that the substances in the cracks of the carbon brick near and above the taphole were ZnO and Zn_(2)SiO_(4),whereas the substances in the cracks of the carbon brick below the taphole were *** reaction of Zn with co.SiO_(2),and Fes generates ZnO,Zn_(2)SiO_(4),and ZnS,resulting in volume expansion,which is an important reason for the cracking of carbon ***,several obvious Zn vapor flow channels were found in the ramming material,through which Zn vapor co.ld enter the carbon brick,causing damage to the carbon *** the co.pactness of the ramming material is beneficial to preventing Zn vapor from entering the carbon brick through the voids in the ramming material,reducing the destructive effect of Zn on the carbon brick and further extending the service life of the blast furnace.

The rapid discharge of cuttings from the air cushion chamber is crucial for the co.struction safety and excavation efficiency of the slurry *** studies have mainly focused on the transport characteristics of cuttings in the slurry discharge pipe,while the co.plete process of cuttings entering the slurry discharge pipe from the air cushion chamber until they are discharged was often *** on the CFD-DEM co.pling method and co.bined with actual engineering,this paper established a numerical model that can more co.pletely reflect the cuttings discharge process during slurry shield tunneling,and the effects of the slurry velocity at slurry gate and sco.ring pipes,inclination angle of slurry discharge pipe,cuttings diameter and shape co.fficient were investigated by analyzing the variation in the mass flow rate,mass of discharged cuttings,and discharged *** results revealed that increasing the slurry velocity can promote the discharge of *** keep the discharged rate at a high level,it is reco.mended that the slurry velocity at the slurry gate should be greater than 0.15 m/*** the inclination angle of the discharge pipe is co.ducive to the rapid discharge of *** with large diameter or small shape co.fficient are more prone to accumulate in the air cushion chamber and cause clogging *** research results not only help to improve engineers'understanding of cuttings discharge in slurry shield,but also provide practical guidance for formulating relevant co.struction measures.
