The underlying physics of QCD phase transition in the early Universe remains largely unknown due to its strong-coupling nature during the quark-gluon plasma/hadron gas transition, yet a holographic model has been proposed to quantitatively fit the lattice QCD data while with its duration of the first-order phase transition(FoPT) left undetermined. At specific baryon chemical potential, the first-order QCD phase transition agrees with the observational constraint of baryon asymmetry. It, therefore, provides a scenario for phase transition gravitational waves(GWs) within the standard model of particle physics. If these background GWs could contribute dominantly to the recently claimed common-spectrum red noise from pulsar timing array(PTA) observations, the duration of this FoPT can be well constrained, and the associated primordial black holes are still allowed by current observations.

The catalytic conversion of glucose to high valueadded platform chemical 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF)is a promising biorefinery process,and alumina-boria catalysts are considered to be green and mild solid acid catalysts for this catalytic ***,compared to the common synthesis methods with complicated steps,we reported a simple and efficient strategy to prepare B_(2)O_(3)-Al_(2)O_(3)nanocomposites by calcining cost-effective glucose-urea deep eutectic solvent(DES)solution containing the *** prepared B_(2)O_(3)-Al_(2)O_(3)nanocomposites exhibited an open three-dimensional skeleton and two-dimensional porous lamellar substructure,endowing them with a high specific surface area(228.27 m2/g).The introduction of boron changed the ratios of different aluminum species(AlⅣ,AlⅤ,and AlⅥ)and borate species(BO3 and BO4),thus further affecting the acidity and the types of acid sites of the *** prepared B_(2)O_(3)-Al_(2)O_(3)bifunctional acid catalysts possessing abundant Lewis acid sites and adjustable Brønsted acid sites showed complete glucose conversion and 55.38%of HMF yield under the optimum *** study proposed a concise method to synthesize alumina-boria solid acid catalysts assisted by glucose-urea *** hope to extend the application and prospect of this efficient and simple synthesis strategy.

“Reactive oxygen species(ROS)engineering”is one of the most promising anti-tumor treatments developed in recent *** explosion of ROS will cause oxidative stress,thereby inducing tumor cell ***,ROS accumulation in tumor cells is eliminated by endogenous cellular self-regulation *** this work,a kind of endogenous/exogenous dual stimulation nanoagent noted as UMZC is *** reaction occurs between NH_(2)-MIL-88B(Fe)contained in UMZC and the overexpression of endogenous H_(2)O_(2)to generate ROS,amplified by endogenous H_(2)S of colon tumor *** addition,NH_(2)-MIL-88B(Fe)also functions to deplete glutathione(GSH)for stopping it from consuming *** nanoparticles at the core of UMZC convert near-infrared into visible light,which excites zinc phthalocyanine to initiate the photochemical reaction that generates more ROS,thus alleviating the lack of tissue penetration depth for visible *** agonist chitosan oligosaccharides induce enhancement of cellular autophagy for disrupting cellular metabolic stress and the resistance to oxidative stress of tumor cells,allowing“ROS engineering”to fully exert anti-tumor *** of ROS generation,GSH depletion,and induced cellular autophagy caused by nanoagents have promoting effects on the occurrence of ***,the nanoagents show the ability to effectively treat colon tumors.

This paper briefly summarizes the current status of typical solar thermal power plant system,including system composition,thermal energy storage medium and *** thermo-physical properties of the storage medium are some of the most important factors that affect overall efficiency of the system,because some renewable energy sources such as solar and wind are unpredictable.A thermal storage system is therefore necessary to store energy for continuous *** on the form of storage or the mode of system connection,heat exchangers of a thermal storage system can produce different temperature ranges of heat transfer fluid to realize energy cascade *** upon the review,a small hybrid energy system with a molten-salt energy storage system is proposed to solve the problems of heating,cooling,and electricity consumption of a 1000 m2 training hall at *** system uses molten-salt storage tank,water tank and steam generator to change the temperature of heat transfer fluid,in order to realize thermal energy cascade *** to the existing heating and cooling system,the proposed system needs more renewable energy and less municipal energy to achieve the same results according to simulation ***,by improving the original heating and cooling system,PMV has been *** comprehensive efficiency of solar energy utilization has been increased to 83%.

A novel framework of hyper-heuristic algorithm was proposed to improve the adaption of evolutionary algorithms( EAs)in optimization. The algorithm could be changed during the evolutionary progress according to their performances. In addition,a large number of elite individuals were employed in the algorithm and the elite individuals helped algorithm achieve a better performance,while such number of elite individuals stagnated the global convergence in conventional single algorithm. The time complexity was analyzed to demonstrate the novel framework did not increase the time complexity. The simulation results indicate that the proposed framework outperforms any single algorithm that composes the framework.

In this work,the intensity distribution formula of the focused femtosecond(fs)laser beam is *** was used to establish the light intensity distribution model of the focused fs laser under the processing condition,and the light intensity of focused fs laser under different laser power was *** the fs laser processing platform was *** glass was etched by fs laser,and the SU-8 photoresist was processed by fs laser two-photon polymerization(2PP).By adjusting the change of laser power,the etching and polymerization lines of different sizes are *** on the simulation results and experimental results,the estimated etching threshold of the glass using the fs laser is 5.0966×10^16 W/m^2,and the estimated processing threshold of SU-8 photoresist by 2PP using the fs laser is 1.1942×10^14 W/m^*** work is helpful to further analyze the applications of fs laser *** provides guidance and reference for different kinds of fs laser processing methods.

Designing highly active and stable electrocatalysts of oxygen evolution reaction （OER） is one of the crucial *** this study,a novel OER electrocatalyst,NiFe-MIL-53 modified with ultra-low rhodium（Rh@NiFe-MIL-53）,is successfully prepared via the hydrothermal ***-situ Raman spectroscopy and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy reveal that the doped Rh accelerates the phase transformation of NiFe-MIL-53 and the in-situ formed Rh@NiFeOOH is the actual active *** importantly,the enhanced reversibility of electrochemical reconstruction between NiFeOOH and NiFe（OH）2after doping Rh is beneficial for improving the electrochemical stability of the catalyst.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy spectra show the strong electronic interaction between single-atom Rh and Ni/Fe in Rh@***,theoretical calculations confirm that the integration of single-atom Rh into the NiFeOOH successfully reduces the band gap,regulates the d-band center （εd）,accelerates the charge transfer,and optimizes the adsorption behavior of oxygen-containing intermediates,thereby lowering the energy barrier of rate-determining ***,the optimized Rh@NiFe-MIL-53 exhibits excellent OER activity （240 mV） with a small Tafel slope of 48.2 mV dec-1and long-term durability (over1270 h at 10 m A cm-2and 110 h at 200 mA cm-2).This work presents a new perspective on designing highly efficient OER electrocatalysts.

The cycloaddition reaction of CO_(2)with epoxide not only effectively reduces the concentration of CO_(2)in the atmosphere,but also has excellent industrial application value and up to 100%atom utilization,but there are difficulties in separation and recovery of traditional homogeneous catalysts,harsh reaction conditions of traditional heterogeneous catalysts,and activation of CO_(2)*** this paper,an easily synthesized heterogeneous catalyst CeNCl/C was used to catalyze the cycloaddition reaction of CO_(2)with styrene oxide,with a high yield of 92.7%,a high selectivity of 96.7%,a turnover numbers(TON)value of 349,and a good stability demonstrated in six cycle tests(equivalent to 216 h of testing).Through comprehensive studies,it was shown that CeNCl/C contains Lewis acid-base centers as active centers,which can effectively reduce the energy barrier required for ring opening of the reaction substrate,enhance the adsorption and activation of CO_(2),and promote the formation of intermediates,which led to the acquisition of excellent catalytic activity.

Optimum control strategy for all-variable speed chiller plant

The optimum control strategy and the saving potential of all variable chiller plant under the conditions of changing building cooling load and cooling water supply temperature were investigated. Based on a simulation model of water source chiller plant established in dynamic transient simulation program (TRNSYS),the four-variable quadratic orthogonal regression experiments were carried out by taking cooling load,cooling water supply temperature,cooling water flow rate and chilled water flow rate as variables,and the fitting formulas expressing the relationships between the total energy consumption of chiller plant with the four selected parameters was obtained. With the SAS statistical software and MATHEMATICA mathematical software,the optimal chilled water flow rate and cooling water flow rate which result in the minimum total energy consumption were determined under continuously varying cooling load and cooling water supply temperature. With regard to a chiller plant serving an office building in Shanghai,the total energy consumptions under different control strategies were computed in terms of the forecasting function of cooling load and water source temperature. The results show that applying the optimal control strategy to the chiller plant can bring a saving of 23.27% in power compared with the corresponding conventional variable speed plant,indicating that the optimal control strategy can improve the energy efficiency of chiller plant.
