Objective:To rapidly identify the two morphologies and chemical properties of similar herbal medicines,Blumea riparia and *** as the basis for chemical constituent ***:UPLC-Q-Exactive-MS/MS was utilized for profiling and identification of the constituents in *** and *** pattern recognition(CPR)was further used to compare and distinguish the two herbs and to identify their potential characteristic ***,an HPLC method was established for quality ***:A total of 93 constituents are identified,including 54 phenolic acids,35 flavonoids,two saccharides,one phenolic acid glycoside,and one other constituent,of which 67 were identified in *** and *** for the first *** indicates that *** and *** samples can be distinguished from each other based on the LC–MS *** isochlorogenic acid A to cryptochlorogenic acid peak area ratio calculated from the HPLC chromatograms was proposed as a differentiation index for distinguishing and quality control of *** and ***:This study demonstrates significant differences between *** and *** in terms of chemical *** results provide a rapid and simple strategy for the comparison and evaluation of the quality of *** and ***.

Targeting duplex DNA with the reversible reactivity of quinone methides

DNA alkylation and crosslinking remains a common and effective strategy for anticancer chemotherapy despite its infamous lack of *** a reactive group to a sequence-directing component has the potential to enhance target selectivity but may suffer from premature degradation or the need for an external signal for ***,quinone methide conjugates may be employed if they form covalent but reversible adducts with their sequence directing *** resulting self-adducts transfer their quinone methide to a chosen target without an external signal and avoid off-target reactions by alternative intramolecular *** transfer is shown to depend on the nature of the quinone methide and the sequencedirecting ligand in applications involving alkylation of duplex DNA through a triplex recognition *** required an electron-rich derivative that enhanced the stability of the transient quinone methide intermediate and a polypyrimidine strand of DNA to associate with its cognate polypurine/polypyrimidine *** quinone methide conjugates with peptide nucleic acids were capable of quinone methide transfer from their initial precursor but not from their corresponding *** active peptide nucleic acid derivatives were highly selective for their complementary target.

Some veterinary drug residues in food products and environment have been widely regarded as severe threats to human *** and simultaneous detection methods are crucial to monitor and control veterinary drug ***,we propose a fluorescence biosensor utilizing immunomagnetic beads(IMBs)and quantum dots(QDs)for the rapid and simultaneous detection of 1-adamantylamine(ADA),enrofloxacin(ENR)and tilmicosin(TIL)in raw chicken meat.A pretreatment method using sodium phosphotungstate–magnesium as extraction reagent was developed to simultaneously extract ADA,ENR and TIL from chicken meat with minor interference in background or *** adding the IMBs modified with three types of antibodies and the QD-antigens modified with three types of BSA-antigens to sample,IMBs competitively conjugated to target antigens in a sample or *** magnetic separation,the residual QD-antigens were adopted to collect signals using fluorescence *** QDs with well separated emission peaks,the detection of one type of targets was minorly interfered by the *** the optimum conditions,the biosensor exhibited the limit of detection of 0.96,3.32,and 3.17 ng/mL for ADA,ENR and TIL in chicken samples,respectively,as well as good *** to the way of direct collection of signals in extracts,the tedious and complicated multiple magnetic separation and signal amplification procedures in conventional methods were avoided,thus the procedures were significantly simplified,and the reduction of the operation time of 30 min for sample pretreatment and 40 min for detection part was *** biosensor might be promising in the rapid,in-field and sensitive screening of multiple veterinary drugs to ensure agriculture and food safety.

Evaluation on Quality and Utilization Value of Bupleurum falcatum Linne

[Objectives]This study aimed to evaluate the quality of Bupleurum falcatum Linne interplanted with walnut in Ganluo and study the development and utilization value of other parts.[Methods]The contents of saikosaponins a and d were determined with RP-HPLC,and the contents of 7 kinds of harmful elements were determined by *** quality of *** Linne was compared with that of other Bupleurum species.[Results]The total saikosaponin content in Radix Bupleurum Falcatum(15.894 mg/g)was higher than that in Radix Bupleuri of other origins(8.748 mg/g).The total saikosaponin content in leaves of *** Linne(7.518 mg/g)is more than twice the limit promulgated by Chinese *** contents of Al,Cr,Cu,As,Cd,Pb and Hg in *** Linne were all lower than the limits promulgated by the *** short,the quality of Radix Bupleurum Falcatum was better than that of Radix Bupleurum Marginatum(S3,S4)and Radix Bupleurum Sachalinense(S5).The leaves of *** Linne contained more saikosaponins and less harmful elements.[Conclusions]The method and technology of interplanting *** Linne with walnut in Ganluo are *** quality of the medicinal materials produced is superior,and the leaves are also rich in saikosaponins a and d,and can be used as the raw material for extracting saikosaponins a and *** study provides a basis for further in-depth research on the cultivation of *** Linne in the domestic market.

The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)can be caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)infection,and has led to millions of deaths among more than 100 million infected people around the world according to the declaration from World Health *** immune response of both the innate and adaptive immune systems is subsistent on COVID-19 patients,of which the degree are associated with disease severity,lung damage and long term functional *** treatment options have included antiretroviral drugs,anti-inflammatory factors,antibodies,immune checkpoint inhibitors,and convalescent plasma *** recently,mesenchymal stem cell(MSC)therapy has been explored for the management and control of COVID-19,particularly with the aim of preventing or at least mitigating respiratory *** the safety and efficacy of stem cell therapy have been validated in multiple phase I–III clinical trials,to date,no standardized stem cell preparation,administration dosage or interval,product QA/QC testing,storage,transportation,or disposal protocols have been *** present paper proposes a systematic methodology that addresses all the foregoing process steps and evaluation criteria for the efficacious and safe administration of MSCs in the treatment of patients infected with COVID-19.
