Lithium metal batteries(LMBs)are emerging as a promising energy storage solution owing to their high energy density and specific ***,the non-uniform plating of lithium and the potential rupture of the solid-electrolyte interphase(SEI)during extended cycling use may result in dendrite growth,which can penetrate the separator and pose significant short-circuit *** a stable SEI is essential for the long-term operation of the ***-rich SEI has garnered significant attention for its ability to effectively passivate electrodes,regulate lithium deposition,and inhibit electrolyte *** the structural components and preparation methods of existing fluorinated SEI is crucial for optimizing lithium metal anode *** paper reviews the research on optimizing LiF passivation interfaces to protect lithium metal *** focuses on four types of compositions in fluorinated SEI that work synergistically to enhance SEI *** instance,combining compounds with LiF can further enhance the mechanical strength and ionic conductivity of the *** metals with LiF significantly improves electrochemical performance at the SEI/anode interface,with a necessary focus on reducing electron tunneling ***,incorporating polymers with LiF offers balanced improvements in interfacial toughness and ionic conductivity,though maintaining structural stability over long cycles remains a critical area for future *** alloys combined with LiF increase surface energy and lithium affinity,challenges such as dendrite growth and volume expansion *** summary,this paper emphasizes the crucial role of interfacial structures in LMBs and offers comprehensive guidance for future design and development efforts in battery technology.

Gradient nanostructured tungsten and the thermal shock response

In fusion reactor or spallation neutron source environment,damage of tungsten components begins at the *** enhance the surface toughness,strength,and hardness of tungsten,a nano-to-micro sc ale lamellar gradient surface layer(thickness up to~50μm)was produced on as-rolled pure tungsten using a dry-sliding surface *** dry-sliding temperature and time were established by observing the grain-size evolution from room temperature to 750℃and the coefficient of friction on the surface layer after sliding from 10 to 50 *** grains changed into a slender fibrous structure at 250℃,which is higher than the ductile-brittle transition temperature but lower than the dynamic recrystallization temperature(750℃).The coefficient of friction of the surface layer decreased with sliding time and stabilized at approximately 50 min,indicating near-s aturation of the surface *** repetitive thermal loads of 10,20,and 30 MW·m^(-2)on the gradient modified layer,it exhibited mainly recrystallization and grain *** proportion of low-angle grain boundaries(<10°)reached50.6,42.2,and 17.3%,respectively,and the hardness decreased to 602,582,and 488HV.A heat load of 30 MW·m^(-2)was the threshold for the fast grain *** with unmodified tungsten,the recrystallization and grain growth are relatively ***,the gradient layer could suppress the formation of pits and protrusions in the as-rolled tungsten sample.

A fast parallel SC-Fano decoding algorithm for PAC codes

In order to efectively reduce the “decoding latency” of successive cancellation decoding aided Fano(SC-Fano) decoder employed in polarization-adjusted convolutional(PAC) codes, a fast parallel SCFano decoding algorithm is designed, which leverages multiple individual decoding components. Critical challenges arise from how to appropriately initialize the thresholds of diferent SC-Fano decoding components and how will these decoding components cooperate with each other. After appropriately overcoming these challenges, our design is capable of halving the “decoding latency” without incurring any noticeable frame error rate(FER) performance degradation, meanwhile, the overall computational complexity is normally constrained below one and a half times of that required by conventional SC-Fano decoders in simulated typical configurations.

Effect of tungsten carbide particles on microstructure and mechanical properties of Cu alloy composite bit matrix

Copper alloy composite bit matrix was prepared by pressureless vacuum infiltration,using at least one of the three kinds of tungsten carbide particles,for example,irregular cast tungsten carbide,monocrystalline tungsten carbide and sintered reduced tungsten carbide *** effects of powder particle morphology,particle size and mass fraction of tungsten carbide on the microstructure and mechanical properties of copper alloy composite were investigated by means of scanning electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction and abrasive wear test in *** results show that tungsten carbide morphology and particle size have obvious effects on the mechanical properties of copper alloy *** tungsten carbide partially dissolved in the copper alloy binding phase,and layers of Cu_(0.3)W_(0.5)Ni_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)C phase with a thickness of around 8–15μm were formed on the edge of the cast tungsten *** 45%irregular crushed fine cast tungsten carbide and 15%monocrystalline cast tungsten carbide were used as the skeleton,satisfactory comprehensive performance of the reinforced copper alloy composite bit matrix was obtained,with the bending strength,impact toughness and hardness reaching 1048 MPa,4.95 J/cm^(2) and 43.6 HRC,*** main wear mechanism was that the tungsten carbide particles firstly protruded from the friction surface after the copper alloy matrix was worn,and then peeled off from the matrix when further wear occurred.

Experimental study on the parameter optimization and application of a packed-bed dielectric barrier discharge reactor in diesel particulate filter regeneration

To compensate for the shortcomings of the thermal and catalytic regeneration of the diesel particulate filter(DPF),a self-designed packed-bed dielectric barrier discharge(DBD)reactor for DPF regeneration was *** DBD reactor with the main active substance of nonthermal plasma(NTP)as the target parameter was optimized by adjusting the feed gas,packing particles(material or size),and cooling water ***,a set of optimal working parameters(gas source,O_2;packing particles,1.2–1.4 mm ZrO_(2);and cooling water temperature,20℃)was selected to evaluate the effect of different O_(3) concentrations on DPF *** research results showed that selecting packing particles with high dielectric constant and large particles,as well as reducing the cooling water temperature,with oxygen as the feed gas,contributed to an increase in O_(3) *** DPF regeneration,the following changes were observed:the power of the NTP reactor decreased to lower than 100 W,the O_(3) concentration increased from 15 g m^(-3) to 45 g m^(-3),the CO and CO_2 volume fractions of the particulate matter decomposition products increased,and the peak regeneration temperature increased to 173.4℃.The peak temperature arrival time was 60 min earlier,indicating that the regeneration rate of DPF increased with the increase in O_(3) ***,the O_(3) utilization rate(the amount of carbon deposit removed per unit volume O_(3))initially increased and then decreased;when the O_(3) concentration was set to 25 g m^(-3),the highest O_(3) utilization rate was *** packed-bed DBD technology contributed to the increase in the concentration of NTP active substances and the regeneration efficiency of *** provides a theoretical and experimental basis for high-efficiency regeneration of DPF at low temperatures(<200℃).

Long-range correlation analysis of urban traffic data

This paper investigates urban traffic data by analysing the long-range correlation with detrended fluctuation analysis. Through a large number of real data collected by the travel time detection system in Beijing, the variation of flow in different time periods and intersections is studied. According to the long-range correlation in different time scales, it mainly discuss the effect of intersection location in road net, people activity customs and special traffic controls on urban traffic flow. As demonstrated by obtained results, the urban traffic flow represents three-phase characters similar to highway traffic. Moreover, compared by the two groups of data obtained before and after the special traffic restrictions （vehicles with special numbered plates only run in a special workday） enforcement, it indicates that the rules not only reduce the flow but also avoid irregular fluctuation.
