To ensure the co.rectness of train co.trol system design and development,the ways of simulation,test and formalization were co.pared.Acco.ding to the safe critical attribute of train co.trol system,the characters related to system safety were propounded such as real time,hybrid,distribution(co.currence)and reactivity,and the specific formal methods associated with every character were introduced in details.The analysis and classification of the methods were done based on their mathematical basis and applications,and their advantages and disadvantages were given.Analysis result indicates that every method has determinate limitations,which is determined by the essences of model checking and theory proving.It is pointed out that the presentation of new method,the expansion of existing methods and the integration of many methods will be the development trend of formalization in train co.trol system.

Large-scale wireless sensor networks(WSNs)play a critical role in monitoring dangerous scenarios and responding to medical emergencies.However,the inherent instability and error-prone nature of wireless links present significant challenges,necessitating efficient data co.lection and reliable transmission services.This paper addresses the limitations of existing data transmission and reco.ery protoco.s by proposing a systematic end-to-end design tailored for medical event-driven cluster-based large-scale WSNs.The primary goal is to enhance the reliability of data co.lection and transmission services,ensuring a co.prehensive and practical approach.Our approach focuses on refining the hop-co.nt-based routing scheme to achieve fairness in forwarding reliability.Additionally,it emphasizes reliable data co.lection within clusters and establishes robust data transmission over multiple hops.These systematic improvements are designed to optimize the overall performance of the WSN in real-world scenarios.Simulation results of the proposed protoco. validate its exceptional performance co.pared to other prominent data transmission schemes.The evaluation spans varying sensor densities,wireless channel co.ditions,and packet transmission rates,showcasing the protoco.’s superiority in ensuring reliable and efficient data transfer.Our systematic end-to-end design successfully addresses the challenges posed by the instability of wireless links in large-scaleWSNs.By prioritizing fairness,reliability,and efficiency,the proposed protoco. demonstrates its efficacy in enhancing data co.lection and transmission services,thereby offering a valuable co.tribution to the field of medical event-drivenWSNs.

Because of its large capacity,high efficiency and energy savings,the subway has gradually beco.e the primary mode of transportation for citizens.A high density of passengers exists within a large-passenger-flow subway station,and the number of casualties and injuries during a fire emergency is substantial.In this paper,Pathfinder software and on-site measured data of Pingzhou station in Shenzhen(China)were utilized to simulate a fire emergency evacuation in a large-passenger-flow subway station.The Required Safe Egress Time(RSET),number of passengers and flow rates of stairs and escalators were analysed for three fire evacuation scenarios:train fire,platform fire and hall fire.The evacuation time of the train fire,which was 1173 s,was the longest,and 3621 occupants needed to evacuate when the train was fully loaded.Occupants co.ld not co.plete the evacuation within 6 mins in all three fire evacuation scenarios,which does not meet the current standard requirements and co.es.By changing the number of passengers and the number of stairs for evacuation,the flow rate capacity and evacuation time were explored,which have reference values for safety management and emergency evacuation plan optimization during peak hours of subway operation.

Study of loess eco.ogical slope protection optimization measures and prediction of the erosion co.trol effect

The large-scale management of ditches and implementation of land projects in loess areas have increased the arable land area but have caused co.siderable engineering issues, resulting in severe soil erosion. In this study, field tests were performed at different time scales, a co.trol group was established, organic material–plant joint restoration technology was proposed as an optimized management measure, and the erosion co.trol mechanism and restoration mode of organic material–plant joint restoration technology were analyzed. Based on the obtained experimental data, a Water Erosion Prediction Project(WEPP)-based hydraulic erosion model was co.structed, sensitivity parameters were calibrated, and the soil erosion intensity and co.responding spatial distribution in the watershed of the study area were simulated via the geo-spatial interface for WEPP(GeoWEPP) after organic material–plant joint restoration technology was adopted to predict the effect of optimized management measures. The results showed that among the slopes with different restoration measures, organic material–plant joint restoration technology effectively co.trolled loess slope erosion, and the average erosion modulus of the organic material–grass and shrub transplantation slope reached only 23.37 t/km2, which is a decrease of 97.68% relative to the traditional grass–shrub protection slope. Moreover, the sand co.tent of the joint restoration slope was reduced by 392.41 g/L relative to the bare slope, reaching only 0.29 g/L, and the runoff yield was reduced by 8.88 L/min. The GeoWEPP modeling results revealed that the total runoff yield and average annual erosion modulus of the watershed were lower after joint restoration than during the prerestoration period. Similarly, the total runoff yield of the watershed was 4.6%, the simulated 10-year average annual total sand production reached 2048.3 t,and the average annual erosion modulus was 582.75 t/km2, which is 52.15% lower than that under untreated co.ditions. Deep shale gas reserves that have been fractured typically have many relatively close perforation holes. Due to theproximity of each fracture during the formation of the fracture network, there is significant stress interference,which results in uneven fracture propagation. It is co.mon practice to use “balls” to temporarily plug fractureopenings in order to lessen liquid intake and achieve uniform propagation in each cluster. In this study, a diameteroptimization model is introduced for these plugging balls based on a multi-cluster fracture propagationmodel and a perforation dynamic abrasion model. This approach relies on proper co.sideration of the multiphasenature of the co.sidered problem and the interaction force between the involved fluid and solid phases. Acco.dingly,it can take into acco.nt the behavior of the gradually changing hole diameter due to proppant co.tinuousperforation erosion. Moreover, it can provide useful information about the fluid-dynamic behavior of the co.sideredsystem before and after plugging. It is shown that when the diameter of the temporary plugging ball is1.2 times that of the perforation hole, the perforation holes of each cluster can be effectively blocked.

With the co.tinuous expansion of the Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT),more andmore organisations are placing large amounts of data in the cloud to reduce overheads.However,the channel between cloud servers and smart equipment is not trustworthy,so the issue of data authenticity needs to be addressed.The SM2 digital signature algorithm can provide an authentication mechanism for data to solve such problems.Unfortunately,it still suffers from the problem of key exposure.In order to address this co.cern,this study first introduces a key-insulated scheme,SM2-KI-SIGN,based on the SM2 algorithm.This scheme boasts strong key insulation and secure keyupdates.Our scheme uses the elliptic curve algorithm,which is not only more efficient but also more suitable for IIoT-cloud environments.Finally,the security proof of SM2-KI-SIGN is given under the Elliptic Curve Discrete Logarithm(ECDL)assumption in the random oracle.

A portable,auxiliary photovoltaic power system for electric vehicles based on a foldable scissors mechanism

In recent years,co.ntries worldwide have actively advocated electric vehicles for environmental protection.How-ever,restrictions on the driving range and charging have hampered the promotion of electric vehicles.This study proposes a portable,auxiliary photovoltaic power system based on a foldable scissors mechanism for electric vehicles.The system includes a photovoltaic power generation module and an electricity transfer module.The photovoltaic power generation module built based on a foldable scissors mechanism is five times smaller than in its unfolded state,improving its portability in its folded state.The electricity transfer module transfers electricity into the cabin via wireless power transfer units and stores electricity in supercapacitors.Solar simulation exper-iments were co.ducted to evaluate the system’s performance:maximum output power of 1.736 W is measured when the load is 5Ω,while maximum wireless power transfer efficiency is up to 57.7% with 10Ω load.An elec-tric vehicle in Chengdu city was simulated for a case study.The results show that the annual output of a single photovoltaic power system can drive the MINIEV for 423.625 km,indicating that the proposed system would be able to supply power for electric vehicles as an auxiliary power supply system.

This study aimed to determine the regulatory mechanism of dietary zinc lactate (ZL) supplementation on intestinal oxidative stress damage in a paraquat (PQ)-induced piglet model. Twenty-eight piglets (mean body weight 9.51±0.23 kg) weaned at 28 d of age were randomly divided into co.trol, ZL, PQ, and ZL+PQ groups (n=7 in each group). The ZL-supplemented diet had little effect on growth performance under normal physiological co.ditions. Vaccines have proven effective in protecting populations against co.ID-19,including the reco.binant co.ID-19 vaccine(Sf9 cells),the first approved reco.binant protein vaccine in China.In this positive-co.trolled trial with 85 adult participants(Sf9 cells group:n=44;co.onaVac group:n=41),we evaluated the safety,immunogenicity,and protective effectiveness of a heterologous boost with the Sf9 cells vaccine in adults who had been vaccinated with the inactivated vaccine,and found a post-booster adverse events rate of 20.45%in the Sf9 cells group and 31.71%in the co.onaVac group(p=0.279),within 28 days after booster injection.Neither group reported any severe adverse events.Following the Sf9 cells vaccine booster,the geometric mean titer(GMT)of binding antibodies to the receptor-binding domain of prototype SARS-co.-2 on day 28 post-booster was significantly higher than that induced by the co.onaVac vaccine booster(100,683.37 vs.9,451.69,pgroup,GMTs of neutralizing antibodies against pseudo SARS-co.-2 viruses(prototype and diverse variants of co.cern[VOCs])increased by 22.23–75.93 folds from baseline to day 28 post-booster,while the co.onaVac group showed increases of only 3.29–10.70 folds.Similarly,neutralizing antibodies against live SARS-co.-2 viruses(prototype and diverse VOCs)increased by 68.18–192.67 folds on day 14 post-booster co.pared with the baseline level,significantly greater than the co.onaVac group(19.67–37.67 folds).A more robust Th1 cellular response was observed with the Sf9 cells booster on day 14 post-booster(mean IFN-γ+spot-forming cells per 2×105 peripheral blood mononuclear cells:26.66 vs.13.59).Protective effectiveness against symptomatic co.ID-19 was approximately twice as high in the Sf9 cells group co.pared to the co.onaVac group(68.18%vs.36.59%,p=0.004).Our study findings support the high protective effectiveness of heterologous boosting with the reco.binant co.ID-19 vaccine(Sf9 cells)against symptomatic co.ID-19 of diverse SARS-co.-2 variants of co.cern,while causing
