The microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of a Fe-0.12C-0.2Si-1.6Mn-0.3Cr-0.0025B(wt.%)steel with different initial microstructures,i.e.,hot rolled(HR)and co.d rolled-annealed(CRA),were studied through optical microsco.y,scanning electron microsco.y,electron channeling co.trast imaging,microhardness and room temperature uniaxial tensile *** water quenching from 930℃ to room temperature,a fully martensitic microstructure was obtained in both as-quenched HR and CRA specimens,which shows a microhardness of 480±5 HV,and no significant difference in microstructure and microhardness was *** test results show that the product of tensile strength and total elongation(UTS×TE)of the as-quenched HR specimen,i.e.,24.1 GPa%,is higher than that of the as-quenched CRA specimen,i.e.,18.9 GPa%.While,after being tempered at 300℃,the martensitic microstructures and mechanical properties of the two as-quenched specimens change significantly due to the synergy role of the matrix phase softening and the precipitation *** the maximum UTS×TE,it is 18.9 GPa%obtained in the as-quenched CRA one,while that is 24.4 GPa%obtained in the HR specimen after tempered at 300℃ for 5 min.

Ammonia-induced CuO/13X for H_(2)S removal from simulated blast furnace gas at low temperature

Blast furnace gas(BFG)is an important by-product energy for the iron and steel industry and has been widely used for heating or electricity ***,the undesirable co.taminants in BFG(especially H_(2)S)generate harmful environmental *** desulfurization of BFG is urgent for integrated steel plants due to the stringent ultra-low emission *** with other desulfurization materials,zeolite-based adsorbents represent a viable option with low co.ts and long service *** this study,an ammonia-induced CuO modified 13X adsorbent(NH_(3)–CuO/13X)was prepared for H_(2)S removal from simulated BFG at low *** XRD,H_(2)-TPR and TEM analysis proved that smaller CuO particles were formed and the dispersion of Cu on the surface of 13X zeolite was improved via the induction of *** on H_(2)S adsorption performance of the adsorbent was carried out using simulated BFG,and the results showed that NH_(3)–CuO/13X-3 has better breakthrough sulfur capacity,which was more than twice the sulfur capacity of CuO/*** is proposed that the enhanced desulfurization performance of NH_(3)–CuO/13X is attributed to an abundant pore of 13X,and co.bined action of 13X and *** work provided an effective way to improve the sulfur capacity of zeolite-based adsorbents via impregnation method by ammonia induction.

The present study was designed to characterize the blood chemistry, hematology, and lymphocyte subsets in pregnant rhesus monkeys and provide baseline parameters for future studies of reproductive and developmental toxicity and developmental immunotoxicity. Harem-mating was used in 96 female and 16 male rhesus monkeys. Pregnancy was co.firmed on gestation day(GD)18 by ultrasound. The blood samples of rhesus monkeys were co.lected at various times(20 days before pregnancy and GD20, 100 and 150). The analyses of blood chemistry, hematology, and lymphocyte subsets were performed. co.mpared with 20 days before pregnancy, Significant decreases(P biologic change were observed, There were no significant changes in MCH, RDW-CV, MPV, BUN, CD3+, CD4+ and CD8+ during pregnancy. These data provide a database for preclinical study in rhesus monkeys. Physiological anemia, hyperglycemia, and immune suppression may occur in pregnant rhesus monkey which is similar to that found in human, and it is essential to distinguish the physiological changes from the pharmaco.ogical effects in reproductive and developmental toxicity and developmental immunotoxicity studies of pharmaceuticals.

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Chinese medicine(CM) Zihua Wenfei Zhisou Granule(ZWZG) in postinfectious co.gh(PIC) patients with CM syndrome of wind-co.d invading Fei(Lung,WCIF). Methods: This is a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, parallel-group, placebo-co.trolled phase Ⅱclinical trial. PIC patients with WCIF syndrome were recruited from the Respiratory Departments in 6 hospitals across China between March 2019 and December 2020. Eligible patients were randomly assigned to group A(ZWZG-matched placebo 15 g), group B(active ZWZG 15 g), and group C(active ZWZG 10 g plus ZWZGmatched placebo 5 g) in a 1:1:1 ratio. All medications were taken orally 3 times daily for 14 co.secutive days. The primary outco.es were co.gh relief rate and co.gh disappearance rate. The seco.dary outco.es included time to co.gh relief, time to co.gh disappearance, and changes in co.gh symptom sco.e(CSS), co.gh Visual Analog Scale(VAS) value, co.gh-Specific Quality of Life Questionnaire(CQLQ) sco.e, and CM syndrome sco.e from baseline(day 0) to post-treatment(day 14). Adverse events(AEs) in each group were reco.ded. Results: A total of 198 patients were included in the full analysis set(FAS) and safety analysis set(SS), while 183 were enrolled in the per-protoco. analysis set(PPS). In the FAS population, the co.gh relief rate was 47.76%, 90.77% and 84.85%in groups A, B, and C, respectively;while the co.gh disappearance rate was 31.34%, 72.31% and 68.18%,respectively. The co.gh relief rates and co.gh disappearance rates in groups B and C were significantly higher than group A(Pco.gh relief and co.gh disappearance in groups B and C were shorter than group A(Pco.pared with group A, groups B and C showed significantly greater improvements from baseline to post-treatment in CSS during daytime and nighttime as well as VAS(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in changes from baseline to post-treatment in CQLQ and CM syndrome

Removal of chloride from simulated acidic wastewater in the zinc production

The removal of chloride from the zinc electrolyte produced during hydrometallurgical zinc production is challenging. The ion-exchange method is a promising way to remove chloride if the resin washing wastewater can be recycled. This paper focuses on chloride removal from resin washing wastewater to enable its reuse. Various processing factors including the oxygen gas velocity, temperature, and reaction time were investigated systematically. The results show that the optimal co.ditions for dechlorination are an oxygen gas velocity of 0.5 L-min^-1, a reaction temperature of 80 ℃, and a reaction time of 30 min. A dechlorination efficiency of 80% with a residual chloride ion co.centration less than 200 mg-L^-1 was achieved, which meets the requirements for the recycling of wastewater. The presence of manganese accelerates the dechlorination by forming a Mn^2+- MnO^2-MnO4^-Mn^2+ redox cycle. In this process, about 15 kg of the MnO2 and all of the zinc can be reco.ered from 100 m^3 wastewater, and the wastewater can be reused, which makes the ion-exchange method a promising technique for chloride removal.
