[Objectives]This study was conducted to improve the production efficiency of dark-shank partridge-like plumage high-quality broilers and ensure animal welfare,so as to meet the development needs of China’s yellow-feather broiler industry.[Methods]sichuan Animal Science Academy and sichuan dahen poultry breeding Co.,*** a joint breeding research *** team bred dahen 799 broiler complete set line with local chicken breeds as the main material and improving production efficiency,stabilizing meat quality and flavor and achieving autosexing of chicks as the main breeding goals by modern poultry breeding technologies,after 10 years and 8 generations.[Results]The dahen 799 broiler complete set line was approved by National Commission of Livestock and poultry Genetic Resources in December *** 66-week-old egg production of the breed reached 189 *** the commercial generation,cocks and hens showed 10-week-old weights of 2668 and 2269 g,respectively;the feed conversion ratio was 2.26-2.35;the survivability was 96.7%-97.2%;and the average intramuscular fat contents of cocks and hens were in the range of 1.8%-2.1%,and the inosinic acid contents were in the range of 2.3-3.2 mg/*** production performance and meat flavor of dahen 799 broilers were better than dahen 699 broilers,sichuan mountainous bone-black chickens and two other social *** with sichuan mountainous bone-black chickens,the egg production at the age of 66 weeks increased by 47 eggs;the average weight of cocks and hens of the commercial generation at 10 weeks increased by 45.21%;and the autosexing rate of chicks of the commercial generation reached 99.3%.[Conclusions]dahen 799 broilers have the advantages of good production performance,high feed conversion ratio and excellent meat flavor and the characteristic of autosexing which other breeds do not have,and can fully meet the industrial development needs of dark shanks and partridge-like plumage broilers.

[Objective]The paper was to compare the slaughter performance and meat flavor of quality chicken under cage rearing and free-range farming conditions.[Method]A total of 4001-day-old cocks,S07 line cultivated by sichuan dahen poultry breeding Co.,Ltd.(bred for 4 succes-sive generations),were kept in cages until the end of 5 weeks of age,which were then divided into cage rearing and free-range farming *** cocks were fed with the same diet,and slaughter tests and meat quality analysis were carried out at the end of 10 and 22 weeks of age,respectively.[Result]The live weight,carcass weight and abdominal fat percentage in cage rearing group were significantly higher than those in free-range farming group(P<0.01),and the percentage of half-eviscerated yield and percentage of eviscerated yield in cage rearing group were significantly higher than those in free-range farming group(P<0.05),but there were no significant differences in dressing percentage,percentage of leg muscle and per-centage of breast *** intramuscular fat(IMF)content and muscle fiber density of chicken in cage rearing group were significantly higher than those in free-range farming group(P<0.01),but there was no significant difference in inosinic acid(IMP)*** content of IMF and IMF increased with the increase of feeding age,but the deposition rate of intramuscular fat was higher than that of IMF in late feeding period.[Conclusion]The study will provide reliable guidance for production and market consumption of high quality chicken.

To find out the growth and development regularity,the growth curves of Muchuan black chicken at the age of 0-21 weeks were established by Logistic,Bertalanffy and Gompertz models in this *** results showed that all the three models can well fit the growth curve of Muchuan black chicken with a degree above 0.988,while the Gompertz model and the Bertalanffy model was the best for hens and cocks,***,the weight of hens and cocks were analyzed according to their corresponding high fitting *** showed that the inflexion age of Muchuan black chicken was 6.8-6.9 weeks old with an inflexion weight of 692.98 g in hens and 805.57 g in *** conclusion,it was feasible to establish the growth curve of Muchuan black chicken with Logistic,Bertalanffy and Gompertz model.

For a long time,the management and analysis of broiler breeding information in China remain in the 1.0 era of manual recording,careless processing,non-standard analysis and non-standard filing,and lack of accurate and intelligent information management and analysis system,which limit the development of broiler breeding *** on the actual needs of broiler breeding in China,the project team focused on the collection,management and analysis of broiler breeding information and successfully developed Intelligent Management and Analysis System for Broiler breeding *** system is the most complete management and analysis system of broiler breeding information in China,which is closely combined with *** has been successfully applied to broiler breeding by more than 10 breeding institutions in China,some of which are national-level core broiler breeding *** successful development and application of the system will effectively improve the efficiency of broiler breeding in China,narrow the gap between China and developed countries,open the 2.0 era of precise,intelligent and modular broiler breeding,and improve the core competitiveness of broiler breeding in China.

To timely modify breeding scheme and improve selection efficiency of dahen broiler, genetic and breeding progress analysis on five pure lines was conducted. The results showed that the selection on breeding goal traits of each line was effective since 14 generations, especially the selection on growth traits did not cause adverse influence on reproductive performance. After the 6^ th generation, main performances of each line maintained in higher level, but the breeding progress obviously declined. It illustrated that current breeding means was effective for maintaining and consolidating breeding goal traits of dahen broiler, and it should timely adjust breeding scheme to obtain more genetic progress.

Actinidia chinensis(kiwifruit)is a perennial horticultural crop species of the Actinidiaceae family with high nutritional and economic *** versions of the *** genomes have been previously assembled,based mainly on relatively short ***,we report an improved chromosome-level reference genome of ***(v3.0),based mainly on PacBio long reads and Hi-C *** high-quality assembled genome is 653 Mb long,with 0.76%*** least 43%of the genome consists of repetitive sequences,and the most abundant long terminal repeats were further identified and account for 23.38%of our novel *** has clear improvements in contiguity,accuracy,and gene annotation over the two previous versions and contains 40,464 annotated protein-coding genes,of which 94.41%are functionally ***,further analyses of genetic collinearity revealed that the kiwifruit genome has undergone two whole-genome duplications:one affecting all Ericales families near the K-T extinction event and a recent genus-specific *** reference genome presented here will be highly useful for further molecular elucidation of diverse traits and for the breeding of this horticultural crop,as well as evolutionary studies with related taxa.

Fish artificial breeding and release is an important method to restore wild populations of endemic fish species around the *** wangchiachii(SW)is an endemic fish in the upper Yangtze River and is one of the most important species for the artificial breeding and release program implemented in the Yalong River drainage system in *** is unclear how artificially bred SW adapts to the changeable wild environment post-release,after being in a controlled and very different artificial ***,the gut samples were collected and analyzed for food composition and microbial 16S rRNA in artificially bred SW juveniles at day 0(before release),5,10,15,20,25,and 30 after release to the lower reaches of the Yalong *** results indicated that SW began to ingest periphytic algae from the natural habitat before day 5,and this feeding habit is gradually stabilized at day *** to release,Fusobacteria are the dominant bacteria in the gut microbiota of SW,while Proteobacteria and Cyanobacteria generally are the dominant bacteria after *** results of microbial assembly mechanisms illustrated that deterministic processes played a more prominent role than stochastic processes in the gut microbial community of artificially bred SW juveniles after releasing into the ***,the present study integrates the macroscopic and microscopic methods to provide an insight into the food and gut microbial reorganization in the released *** study will be an important research direction to explore the ecological adaptability of artificially bred fish after releasing into the wild.

Resistance Identification of Different Flue-cured Tobacco Varieties against Black Shank

The resistance of 15 flue-cured tobacco varieties were identified by artificial inoculation of black shank. The results showed that K326, Yunyan 202 and NC102 belonged to resistance variety against black shank, and the resistance successively were K326 〉 Yunyan 202 〉 NC102 ; Yunyan 87, Cuibi 5, Yunyan 85, Yunyan 97 and Cuibi 7 belonged to moderate resistance variety against black shank, and the resistance successively were Yunyan 87 ~ Cuibi 5 ~ Yunyan 85 〉 Yunyan 97 〉 Cuibi 7 ; Cuibi 12, NC82, PYH06 and Cuibi 14 belonged to moderate susceptible variety against black shank, and the resistance successively were Cuibi 12 ~ NC82 ~ PVH06 ~ Cuibi 14; Cuibi 1 and Hongda belonged to high susceptible variety against black shank, and the resistance successively were Cuibi 1 〉 09011 〉 Hongda. The disease dynamics of flue-cured tobacco varieties were positively correlated with variety susceptibility, namely the earlier infection in susceptible variety, the faster the disease progression.
