The clay mineral assemblages and geochemical compositions of the Permian Talchir and Barakar mudstones of the Raniganj basin,India,have been used to interpret terrestrial *** Talchir Formation presents unequivocal evidences of the Permian global glacial climate,and the overlying Barakar Formation with braided fluvial deposits immediately follows the glacial amelioration stage to a humid warm *** unaffected by burial diagenesis and originated from a similar source under contrasting climates are ideal for developing proxies for substantial climate ***(28.4-63.8%),illite/smectite(0-58.6%,40-80%illite),chlorite(0-53.9%),and chlorite/smectite(5.6-29.8%)constitute the clay mineral assemblage in the Talchir Formation whereas illite(5.3-78.2%),illite/smectite(trace-34.1%,mostly 60-90%illite),and kaolinite(36.1-86.8%)dominate the clay mineral assemblage in the Barakar *** Talchir mudrocks are enriched in mobile elements and depleted in alumina ***,have relatively higher K_(2)O/Al_(2)O_(3) ratios(~0.3),high ICV(1.12-1.28),and lower CIA values(52.6-65.1)compared to those of the younger Barakar *** Barakar mudstones are depleted in mobile elements ***,have relatively low ICV(0.33-0.62)and K_(2)O/Al_(2)O_(3) values(0.11-0.16),and higher CIA values(72.9-88.2).Textural,mineralogical immaturity,and rock fragments of different components of the basement seen in the Talchir sandstones show these sediments being a first-cycle sedimentary *** distinctive clay mineral assemblage and major oxide composition of the Talchir mudrocks attest to a unique low intensity chemical weathering in cold arid *** presence of kaolinite as well as distinctive geochemical characters of the Barakar mudrocks marks a shift in the paleoclimate from cold arid to *** climatic shift is further supported by the proportion and composition of illite/smectite across the *** relative proportion of chlorite

Similarity solution for a spherical shock wave with or without gravitational field in a dusty gas is studied under the action of monochromatic radiation. It is supposed that dusty gas be a mixture of perfect gas and micro solid particles. Equilibrium flow condition is supposed to be maintained and energy is varying which is continuously supplied by inner expanding surface. It is found that similarity solution exists under the constant initial density. The comparison between the solutions obtained in gravitating and non-gravitating medium is done. It is found that the shock strength increases with an increase in gravitational parameter or ratio of the density of solid particles to the initial density of the gas, whereas an increase in the radiation parameter has decaying effect on the shock waves.

The incredible progress in technologies has drastically increased the usage of Web *** share their credentials like userid and password or use their smart cards to get authenticated by the application *** cards are handy to use,but they are susceptible to stolen smart card attacks and few other notable security *** prefer to use Web applications that guarantee for security against several security attacks,especially insider attacks,which is *** of several existing schemes prove the security pitfalls of the protocols from preventing security attacks,specifically insider *** paper introduces LAPUP:a novel lightweight authentication protocol using physically unclonable function(PUF)to prevent security attacks,principally insider *** PUFs are used to generate the security keys,challenge-response pair(CRP)and hardware signature for designing the *** transmitted messages are shared as hash values and encrypted by the keys generated by *** messages are devoid of all possible attacks executed by any attacker,including insider *** is also free from stolen verifier attacks,as the databases are secured by using the hardware signature generated by *** analysis of the protocol exhibits the strength of LAPUP in preventing insider attacks and its resistance against several other security *** evaluation results of the communication and computation costs of LAPUP clearly shows that it achieves better performance than existing protocols,despite providing enhanced security.

Background:In tropical dry forests,variation in understory light availability due to season and canopy tree density could be a governing factor in establishment and growth of tree *** with varying life history traits are expected to respond differentially to such *** investigated the response of seedlings of four tree species in a tropical day forest in relation to spatiotemporal variability of *** attempt to explore the role of leaf attributes in explaining intra-and inter-specific variations in relative growth *** study sites,each with three contrasting canopy conditions,were selected along a soil moisture *** of four tree species(viz.,Acacia catechu,Bridelia retusa,Lagerstroemia parviflora,and Shorea robusta),varying in life history traits,were monitored for seasonal variations in growth traits across canopy condition and sites for 2 ***:We observed a larger variation in leaf attributes for pioneer *** showed highest mean values for leaf dry matter content,leaf nitrogen concentration,leaf phosphorus concentration,net stomatal conductance,net photosynthetic rate,and relative growth rate in high light *** and *** demonstrated highest mean values for all the leaf attributes(except leaf dry matter content)in low light ***,intermediate values for leaf attributes were observed in *** which preferred moderate light ***:Seasonal variations in light availability at the forest floor appear to play an important role in the establishment and growth of tree seedlings in seasonal dry *** attributes can be used to explain intra-and inter-specific variation in response to light *** attributes in combinations can be used to predict relative growth rate of tree species in tropical dry environment,which apart from soil moisture is also determined by light availability due to seasonal changes and canopy tree density.

This study investigates the effect of aluminium oxide nanoparticlesaddition to biodiesel blends made from dairy milk scum on performance and combustion characteristics of the diesel *** dispersion of Al2O3nanoparticles in B20 blends at different concentrations was done with the help of *** number of blends were prepared for the *** Machine learning algorithms(Random Forest（RF）and CatBoost) was used for the *** results show that in comparison to biodiesel blends without nanoparticles,the kinematic viscosity and density is higher for fuel blends with *** these Fuel blends have higher calorific *** blends exhibited reduced Brake Specific Fuel Consumption（BSFC） of2.85% than the blends without nano particles(Dairy Scum Methyl Ester Biodiesel 20%+Neat Diesel 80%（in volume）,DSMEB20),57.14% less CO,40.8% less hydrocarbon,and increased NOxemissions compared to conventional diesel,contributing to the development of environmentally friendly and renewable biofuel blends with *** B20NP30 is the optimal blend for performance and emission *** study concludes with findings on enhanced Brake Thermal Efficiency（BTE） of 26.29% in 3×10-5（in volume） Al2O3nanoparticle-blended DSME B20 and other DSME B20 fuel blends,emphasizing the importance of optimal nanoparticle *** correlation matrix shows how engine load,efficiency measures（BTE,BSFC）,and emissions（CO,CO2,NOx,Smoke） are connected in complex *** results help us understand the complicated dynamics of engine performance and emission characteristics ***'s diagram for BTE and BSFC shows that CatBoost-based BTE models perform superior to RF-based models during the training as well as testing *** results were obtained for CO and CO2emission results.

Agricultural practices are the main stay of the people of Uttranchal. Out of the total population, more than 75% people are engaged either with the main occupation of agriculture or its allied practices, dominated by traditional subsistence cereal farming. Among them, the main crops are rice, wheat, millet, barley, all types of pulses, all types of oilseeds and almost all types of fruits. The crops, vegetables and fruits of all varieties are grown in the different climatic zones such as tropical, temperate, and cold because, the region is characterized by the different altitudinal zones elevated from 200 m to more than 8000m. As a result, different climates are found from hot tropical to sub temperate and chilly cold. Pulses varieties are grown extensively. Among vegetables, potato, onion, carrot, all types of green leaf vegetables, brinzal, pumpkin, ladyfinger, pea, gram, radish, ginger, garlic, etc, are grown widely. All fruit varieties are grown in the different altitudinal zones. The main fruits are orange, malta (a big size of orange), elephant citrus, lemon and all other types of citrus, apple, stone fruits including peach and pears, many kinds of nuts, and the fruits which are grown in the low lying areas. In spite of feasible climatic conditions, agricultural dominant society, and availability of all types of crops, the production and productivity of these crops are very low, even they are unable to meet the grain-need of the people in Uttaranchal. Agricultural crops are grown almost in all the altitudinal zones — from the low-lying areas, which are called ‘Gangarh’, to the highly elevated region, where the legendary term is given as ‘Danda’. The growing seasons vary according to the heights. Objective: To investigate the feasibility of transcanal endoscopic myringoplasty in the hand of young beginner surgeons who had just completed the residency ***: In a three year period(August 2012 to August 2015), 44 ears in 42 patients were operated upon by a beginner surgeon through the transcanal endoscopic approach in a subdistrict level hospital located in the north western ranges of the Himalayan ***: Of the 42 patient, 19 were male and 23 female. The mean age was 26.23 years(range: 15 e47 years). In 40 ears, complete perforation closure was achieved at six months(success rate: 90.9%). The mean air conduction PTA preoperatively was 40.84 dB HL and improved to 28.06 dB HL postoperatively(p postoperatively(p <.001).Conclusion: Endoscopic transcanal myringoplasty is safe and reliable even in young beginners' *** can consider endoscopic approach early in their careers without the fear of learning curve. The cost of endoscopic equipment is about one tenth as compared to open approach under a operating microscope, and an added advantage.
