Correlation between the rock mass properties and maximum horizontal stress:A case study of overcoring stress measurements

Understanding the mechanical properties of the lithologies is crucial to accurately determine the horizontal stress *** investigate the correlation between the rock mass properties and maximum horizontal stress,the three-dimensional(3D)stress tensors at 89 measuring points determined using an improved overcoring technique in nine mines in China were adopted,a newly defined characteristic parameter C_(ERP)was proposed as an indicator for evaluating the structural properties of rock masses,and a fuzzy relation matrix was established using the information distribution *** results indicate that both the vertical stress and horizontal stress exhibit a good linear growth relationship with *** is no remarkable correlation between the elastic modulus,Poisson's ratio and depth,and the distribution of data points is scattered and ***,there is no obvious relationship between the rock quality designation(RQD)and *** maximum horizontal stress σ_(H) is a function of rock properties,showing a certain linear relationship with the C_(ERP)at the same *** addition,the overall change trend of σ_(H) determined by the established fuzzy identification method is to increase with the increase of C_(ERP).The fuzzy identification method also demonstrates a relatively detailed local relationship betweenσ_H and C_(ERP),and the predicted curve rises in a fluctuating way,which is in accord well with the measured stress data.

Stabilization of Networked Control Systems Using a Mixed-Mode Based Switched Delay System Method

The phenomenon of mixed-mode is one of the most important characteristics of switched delay systems. If a networked control system(NCS) with network induced delays and packet dropouts(NIDs & PDs) is recast as a switched delay system, it is imperative to consider the effects of mixed-modes in the stability analysis for an NCS. In this paper, with the help of the interpolatory quadrature formula and the average dwell time method, stabilization of NCSs using a mixed-mode based switched delay system method is investigated based on a novel constructed Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional. With the Finsler's lemma, new exponential stabilizability conditions with less conservativeness are given for the NCS. Finally, an illustrative example is provided to verify the effectiveness of the developed results.

Effects of evacuation assistant's leading behavior on the evacuation efficiency: information transmission approach

Evacuation assistants are expected to spread the escape route information and lead evacuees toward the exit as quickly as possible. Their leading behavior influences the evacuees＇ movement directly, which is confirmed to be a decisive factor of the evacuation efficiency. The transmission process of escape information and its function on the evacuees＇ movement are accurately presented by the proposed extended dynamic communication field model. For evacuation assistants and eevacuees, their sensitivity parameter of static floor field（SFF）, kL S, and kS, are fully discussed. The simulation results e indicate that the appropriate kL Sis associated with the maximum kSof evacuees. The optimal combinations of kL Sand e kSwere found to reach the highest evacuation efficiency. There also exists an optimal value for evacuation assistants＇ information transmission radius.

Open-plus-closed-loop control for chaotic motion of 3D rigid pendulum

An open-plus-closed-loop （OPCL） control problem for the chaotic motion of a 3D rigid pendulum subjected to a constant gravitationM force is studied. The 3D rigid pendulum is assumed to be consist of a rigid body supported by a fixed and frictionless pivot with three rotational degrees. In order to avoid the singular phenomenon of Euler＇s angular velocity equation, the quaternion kinematic equation is used to describe the motion of the 3D rigid pendulum. An OPCL controller for chaotic motion of a 3D rigid pendulum at equilibrium position is designed. This OPCL controller contains two parts： the open-loop part to construct an ideal trajectory and the closed-loop part to stabilize the 3D rigid pendulum. Simulation results show that the controller is effective and efficient.

Temperature Characteristics and Error Compensation for Quartz Flexible Accelerometer

Reduction of error due to the influence of temperature on the quartz flexible accelerometer without any heating device is a difficult task, and is also a tendency for research and application. In this paper, static and dynamic temperature compensation models are established in order to reduce the temperature influence on accelerometer measurement accuracy. Combined with the experiment data, the relationship between the accelerometer output accuracy, temperature and the magnitude of acceleration is analyzed. The data collected from the temperature experiment show that output value of the accelerometer varies with temperature. The method of uniaxial quadrature experiment is adopted and the accelerometer output value is gauged at temperature ranging from-20℃ to 50℃. Having used the static and the dynamic temperature compensation models, the accelerometer temperature error compensation experiment is conducted and the compensated errors by the two models are analyzed. The result shows that the compensated value meets the technical requirements. Two technical indicators, the zero bias K0 and the scaling factor K1, which are used to measure the degree of accelerometers, are both improved and their fluctuation ranges are reduced.

Learning the accurate dynamics of robotic systems directly from the trajectory data is currently a prominent research *** physics-enforced networks,exemplified by Hamiltonian neural networks and Lagrangian neural networks,demonstrate proficiency in modeling ideal physical systems,but face limitations when applied to systems with uncertain non-conservative dynamics due to the inherent constraints of the conservation laws *** this paper,we present a novel augmented deep Lagrangian network,which seamlessly integrates a deep Lagrangian network with a standard deep *** fusion aims to effectively model uncertainties that surpass the limitations of conventional Lagrangian *** proposed network is applied to learn inverse dynamics model of two multi-degree manipulators including a 6-dof UR-5 robot and a 7-dof SARCOS manipulator under *** experimental results clearly demonstrate that our approach exhibits superior modeling precision and enhanced physical credibility.

Dear Editor,This letter focuses on the integration of inventory monitoring and capacity changes in dynamic supply chains(SCs) with the bullwhip effect(BE) and the ripple effect(RE). First, a new inventory monitoring model with stochastic switched topologies is proposed for SCs, potentially showing merits in incorporating the BE and the RE,and allowing control-theoretic approaches to identify their interrelations. Then, sufficient conditions on the existence of inventory controllers are derived such that the monitoring system is stabilizable with mitigation of the BE in the presence of the RE.

Robust Fault Detection and Isolation Based on Finite-frequency H__/H_∞ Unknown Input Observers and Zonotopic Threshold Analysis

This work proposes a robust fault detection and isolation scheme for discrete-time systems subject to actuator faults,in which a bank of H_/H∞ fault detection unknown input observers(UIOs) and a zonotopic threshold analysis strategy are considered. In observer design, finite-frequency H_ index based on the generalized Kalman-Yakubovich-Popov lemma and H∞ technique are utilized to evaluate worst-case fault sensitivity and disturbance attenuation performance, respectively. The proposed H_/H∞ fault detection observers are designed to be insensitive to the corresponding actuator fault only, but sensitive to ***, to overcome the weakness of predefining threshold for FDI decision-making, this work proposes a zonotopic threshold analysis method to evaluate the generated residuals. The FDI decision-making relies on the evaluation with a dynamical zonotopic threshold. Finally, numerical simulations are provided to show the feasibility of the proposed scheme.

This paper focuses on the recent achievements and presents a survey of existing works on human-centered robots. Furthermore, we provide a comprehensive survey of the recent development of the human-centered intelligent robot and discuss the issues and challenges in the field.

Enhanced Privacy Preserving for Social Networks Relational Data Based on Personalized Differential Privacy

With the popularization and development of social software, more and more people join the social network, which produces a lot of valuable information, but also contains plenty of sensitive privacy information. To achieve the personalized privacy protection of massive social network relational data, a privacy enhancement method for social networks relational data based on personalized differential privacy is proposed. And a dimensionality reduction segmentation sampling(DRS-S)algorithm is proposed to implement this method. First, in order to solve the problem of inefficiency caused by the excessive amount of data in social networks, dimension reduction and segmentation are carried out to divide the data into groups. According to the privacy protection requirements of different users, we adopt sampling method to protect users with different privacy requirements at different levels, so as to realize personalized different privacy. After that, the noise is added to the protected data to satisfy the privacy budget. Then publish the social network data. Finally, the proposed algorithm is compared with the traditional personalized differential privacy(PDP) algorithm and privacy preserving approach based on clustering and noise(PBCN) in real data set, the experimental results demonstrate that the quality of privacy protection and data availability of DRS-S are better than that of PDP algorithm and PBCN algorithm.
