A Simple BCH Decoder for NoC Interconnects and SoC Buses

Network on a chip(No C) uses packetswitched network to implement interconnections in System on chip(So C). In So C design, performance and energy efficiency are respectively the first and second priorities,and optimal on-chip communication should decrease the power consumption and area overhead. In this work, a simplified BCH codec is proposed for reliable communication in No C and So C. It performs BCH error corrections without Berlekamp’s algorithm, only using reduced syndrome bits to determine error patterns. The error locations can be found by looking up tables, by which the possible errors are directly corrected. Only one matrix product and one ROM access are required in the BCH decoder. The proposed(20, 8, 2) and(31, 16, 3) decoders in the paper can be easily applied for error corrections of interconnects and buses for No C and So C. It is also beneficial to correct data lines without length definition and control lines without storage.

The space-air-ground integrated network(SAGIN) is regarded as the key approach to realize global coverage in future network and it reaches broad access for various services. Being the new paradigm of service, immersive media(IM) has attracted users’ attention for its virtualization, but it poses challenges to network performance, e.g. bandwidth, rate, latency. However, the SAGIN has limitations in supporting IM services, such as 4 K/8 K video, virtual reality, and interactive games. In this paper, a novel service customized SAGIN architecture for IM applications(SAG-IM) is proposed, which achieves content interactive and real-time communication among terminal users. State-of-the-art research is investigated in detail to facilitate the combination of SAGIN and service customized technology, which provides endto-end differentiated services for users. Besides, the functional components of SAG-IM contain the infrastructure layer, perception layer, intelligence layer, and application layer, reaching the capabilities of intelligent management of the network. Moreover, to provide IM content with ultra-high-definition and high frame rate for the optimal user experience, the promising key technologies on intelligent routing and delivery are discussed. The performance evaluation shows the superiority of SAG-IM in supporting IM ***, the prospects in practical application are high-lighted.

Gastric cancer(GC)is one of the most common cancers and ranks the third in cancer mortality all over the *** goal of this study was to identify potential hub-genes,highlighting their functions,signaling pathways,and candidate drugs for the treatment of GC *** used publicly available next generation sequencing(NGS)data to identify differentially expressed(DE)*** top DE genes were mapped to STRING database to construct the protein-protein interaction(PPI)network and top hub genes were selected for further *** found a total of 1555 DE genes with 870 upregulated and 685 downregulated genes in *** selected the top 400(200 upregulated and 200 downregulated)genes to construct a PPI network and extracted the top 15 hub *** gene ontology(GO)term and kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes(KEGG)pathway enrichment analyses of the 15 hub genes exposed some important functions and signaling pathways that were significantly associated with GC *** survival analysis of the hub genes disclosed that the lower expressions of the three hub genes CDH2,COL4A1,and COL5A2 were associated with better survival of GC *** three genes might be the candidate biomarkers for the diagnosis and treatment of ***,we considered 3 key proteins(genomic biomarkers)(COL4A1,CDH2,and CO5A2)as the drug target proteins(receptors),performed their docking analysis with the 102 meta-drug agents,and found Everolimus,Docetaxel,Lanreotide,Venetoclax,Temsirolimus,and Nilotinib as the top ranked 6 candidate drugs with respect to our proposed target proteins for the treatment against GC ***,the proposed drugs might play vital role for the treatment against GC patients.

SnSe exhibits excellent thermoelectric performance in both n-and p-type single crystals,but its n-type polycrystals are restricted because of the lower electrical ***,we dually introduced rare earth element Ce and PbTe to optimize the thermoelectric properties of n-type SnSe *** is demonstrated that Ce is an effective cationic dopant to convert SnSe from p-to n-type conductor,and an enhanced peak zT value of∼0.9 at 823 K was obtained in Sn 0.97 Ce 0.03 Se due to the improved power ***,PbTe alloying not only reduced the band gap to increase the carrier concentration,but also enhanced the density-of-states effective mass,and hence further increased the power factor in the whole measured temperature ***,the lattice thermal conductivity was significantly reduced owing to the enhanced phonon scattering by the mass and strain *** a result,the peak zT value was increased to∼1.3 for Sn 0.9 Pb 0.07 Ce 0.03 Se 0.93 Te 0.07 together with a high average zT value of∼0.52 in the temperature range of 300 to 823 K.

Ovarian endometrioma（OE）, also known as “chocolate cysts,” is a cystic mass that develops in the ovaries due to endometriosis and is a common gynecological condition characterized by the growth of endometrial tissue outside the uterus, leading to symptoms such as dysmenorrhea, pelvic pain, and infertility. However, the precise molecular and cellular mechanisms driving this pathophysiology remain largely unknown, posing challenges for diagnosis and treatment. Here, we employed integrated single-cell transcriptomic profiling of over 52,000 individual cells from endometrial tissues of OE patients and healthy donors and identified twelve major cell populations. We identified notable alterations in cell type-specific proportions and molecular signatures associated with OE. Notably, the activation of IGFBP5+macrophages with pro-inflammatory properties, NK cell exhaustion, and aberrant proliferation of IQCG+and KLF2+epithelium are key features and may be the potential mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of OE. Collectively, our data contribute to a better understanding of OE at the single cell level and may pave the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies.

Modular Extremely Large-Scale Array Communication:Near-Field Modelling and Performance Analysis

This paper investigates the wireless communication with a novel architecture of antenna arrays,termed modular extremely large-scale array(XLarray),where array elements of an extremely large number/size are regularly mounted on a shared platform with both horizontally and vertically interlaced *** module consists of a moderate/flexible number of array elements with the inter-element distance typically in the order of the signal wavelength,while different modules are separated by the relatively large inter-module distance for convenience of practical *** accurately modelling the signal amplitudes and phases,as well as projected apertures across all modular elements,we analyse the near-field signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)performance for modular XL-array *** on the non-uniform spherical wave(NUSW)modelling,the closed-form SNR expression is derived in terms of key system parameters,such as the overall modular array size,distances of adjacent modules along all dimensions,and the user's three-dimensional(3D)*** addition,with the number of modules in different dimensions increasing infinitely,the asymptotic SNR scaling laws are ***,we show that our proposed near-field modelling and performance analysis include the results for existing array architectures/modelling as special cases,e.g.,the collocated XL-array architecture,the uniform plane wave(UPW)based far-field modelling,and the modular extremely large-scale uniform linear array(XL-ULA)of *** simulation results are presented to validate our findings.
