We introduce adaptive moving mesh central-upwind schemes for one-and two-dimensional hyperbolic systems of conservation and balance *** proposed methods consist of three ***,the solution is evolved by solving the studied system by the second-order semi-discrete central-upwind scheme on either the one-dimensional nonuniform grid or the two-dimensional structured quadrilateral *** the evolution step is complete,the grid points are redistributed according to the moving mesh differential ***,the evolved solution is projected onto the new mesh in a conservative *** resulting adaptive moving mesh methods are applied to the one-and two-dimensional Euler equations of gas dynamics and granular hydrodynamics *** numerical results demonstrate that in both cases,the adaptive moving mesh central-upwind schemes outperform their uniform mesh counterparts.

A quasi-coherent(QC)mode was observed in the core region of low-density ohmic plasmas in Sino-UNIted Spherical *** experiments on the QC mode,two sets of moveable Langmuir probes(LPs)were used to measure the local parameters including floating potential,electron temperature,electron density,and so on,as well as their *** monitor the magnetohydrodynamic activities,a Mirnov probe was used to measure the poloidal magnetic *** QC mode can be seen in the spectra of floating potential,but there is no similar peak in the spectra of magnetic ***,the QC mode is probably *** analyzing the electrostatic potential fluctuations from the LPs,the features of the QC mode including frequency,wavenumber,propagation direction,and dependence on collisionality are identified,which are consistent with the characteristics of dissipative trapped electron mode.

In-memory computing is an alternative method to effectively accelerate the massive data-computing tasks of artificial intelligence(AI)and break the memory *** this work,we propose a 2T1C DRAM structure for in-memory *** integrates a monolayer graphene transistor,a monolayer MoS_(2)transistor,and a capacitor in a two-transistor-onecapacitor(2T1C)*** this structure,the storage node is in a similar position to that of one-transistor-one-capacitor(1T1C)dynamic random-access memory(DRAM),while an additional graphene transistor is used to accomplish the nondestructive readout of the stored ***,the ultralow leakage current of the MoS_(2)transistor enables the storage of multi-level voltages on the capacitor with a long retention *** stored charges can effectually tune the channel conductance of the graphene transistor due to its excellent linearity so that linear analog multiplication can be *** of the almost unlimited cycling endurance of DRAM,our 2T1C DRAM has great potential for in situ training and recognition,which can significantly improve the recognition accuracy of neural networks.

Sodium-ion batteries stand a chance of enabling fast charging ability and long lifespan while operating at low temperature(low-T).However,sluggish kinetics and aggravated dendrites present two major challenges for anodes to achieve the goal at ***,we propose an interlayer confined strategy for tailoring nitrogen terminals on Ti_(3)C_(2) MXene(Ti_(3)C_(2)-N_(funct)) to address these *** introduction of nitrogen terminals endows Ti_(3)C_(2)-N_(funct) with large interlayer space and charge redistribution,improved conductivity and sufficient adsorption sites for Na^(+),which improves the possibility of Ti_(3)C_(2) for accommodating more Na atoms,further enhancing the Na^(+) storage capability of Ti_(3)C_(2).As revealed,Ti_(3)C_(2)-N_(funct) not only possesses a lower Na-ion diffusion energy barrier and charge trans-fer activation energy,but also exhibits Na^(+)-solvent co-intercalation behavior to circumvent a high de-solvation energy barrier at ***,the solid electrolyte interface dominated by inorganic com-pounds is more beneficial for the Na^(+)transfer at the electrode/electrolyte *** with of the unmodified sample,Ti_(3)C_(2)-Nfunct exhibits a twofold capacity(201 mAh g^(-1)),fast-charging ability(18 min at 80% capacity retention),and great superiority in cycle life(80.9%@5000 cycles)at -25℃.When coupling with Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(2)F_(3) cathode,the Ti_(3)C_(2)-N_(funct)//NVPF exhibits high energy density and cycle stability at -25℃.

Background An inflammatory response leading to organ dysfunction and failure continues to be a major problem after injury in many clinical conditions such as sepsis, severe burns, and trauma. It is increasingly recognized that atrial natriuretic peptide （ANP） possesses a broad range of biological activities, including effects on endothelial function and inflammation. A recent study has revealed that ANP exerts anti-inflammatory effects. In this study we tested the effects of human ANP （hANP） on lung injury in a model of oleic acid （OA）-induced acute lung injury （ALl） in rats. Methods Rats were randomly assigned to three groups （n=6 in each group）. Rats in the control group received a 0.9% solution of NaCI （1 ml-kg-l.h1） by continuous intravenous infusion, after 30 minutes a 0.9% solution of NaCI （1 ml/kg） was injected intravenously, and then the 0.9% NaCI infusion was restarted. Rats in the ALl group received a 0.9% NaCI solution （1 ml-kgl-h-~） intravenous infusion, after 30 minutes OA was injected intravenously （0.1 ml/kg）, and then the 0.9% NaCI infusion was restarted. Rats in the hANP-treated ALl group received a hANP （0.1 ***-Lmin~） infusion, after 30 minutes OA was injected intravenously （0.1 ml/kg）, and then the hANP infusion was restarted. The anti-inflammation effects of hANP were evaluated by histological examination and determination of serum cytokine levels. Results Serum interleukin （IL）-113, IL-6, IL-10 and tumor necrosis factor （TNF） a were increased in the ALl group at six hours. The levels of all factors were significantly lower in the hANP treated rats （P 〈0.005）. Similarly, levels of IL-113, IL-6, IL-10 and TNF-a were higher in the lung tissue in the ALl group at six hours, hANP treatment significantly reduced the levels of these factors in the lungs （P 〈0.005）. Histological examination revealed marked reduction in interstitial congestion, edema, and inflammation. Conclusion hANP can attenuate inflammation in OA-induced lung injury in rat model.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to explore the potential correlation between the GA/HbA1c ratio and diabetic retinopathy (DR) in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D), as the GA/HbA1c ratio serves as a marker for glycemic variability. Methods: A total of 2565 T2D patients were included in this study and grouped into five categories based on the diagnostic criteria for DR. We examined the impact of the GA/HbA1c ratio on the progression of diabetes. Results: The non-DR group exhibited lower GA/HbA1c levels compared to the DR group. Additionally, as the severity of DR increased among the five groups, there was a corresponding increase in the GA/HbA1c ratio. Logistic regression analysis demonstrated that the GA/HbA1c ratio independently elevated the risk of DR occurrence. Conclusions: The GA/HbA1c ratio can independently predict the occurrence and progression of diabetic retinopathy.

With greater longevity and improved acute treatment options, incidence and prevalence of heart failure (HF) have also increased. The leaf of Psidium guava is traditionally used in Asia to manage, control and treat diabetes. We designed this study to elucidate the effect of the administration of oral doses of aqueous and ethanol extract from Psidium guava leaves on plasma glucose, lipid profiles and the sensitivity of the vascular mesenteric bed to Phenylephrine in diabetic and non diabetic rats. Animals were divided into 5 groups (n = 10): two groups served as non-diabetic controls (NDC), while the other groups had diabetes induced with a single injection of streptozotocin (STZ). Psidium guava-treated chronic diabetic (PSG-CD) and Psidium guava-treated controls (PSG-C) received 1g/l of Psidium guavaadded to the drinking water for 8 weeks. The mesenteric vascular beds were prepared using the McGregor method. Administration of Psidium guava caused Ca/Mg ratio, plasma glucose, high density lipoprotein (HDL), low density lipoprotein (LDL), very low density lipoprotein (VLDL), total cholesterol and triglyceride concentrations to return to normal levels, and was shown to decrease alteration in vascular reactivity to vasoconstrictor agents. Our results support the hypothesis that Psidium guava could play a role in the management of diabetes and the prevention of vascular complications in STZ-induced diabetic rats.

Fault diagnosis for lithium-ion batteries in electric vehicles based on signal decomposition and two-dimensional feature clustering

Battery fault diagnosis is essential for ensuring the reliability and safety of electric vehicles(EVs).The existing battery fault diagnosis methods are difficult to detect faults at an early stage based on the real-world vehicle data since lithium-ion battery systems are usually accompanied by inconsistencies,which are difficult to distinguish from faults.A fault diagnosis method based on signal decomposition and two-dimensional feature clustering is introduced in this *** geometry mode decomposition(SGMD)is introduced to obtain the components characterizing battery states,and distance-based similarity measures with the normalized extended average voltage and dynamic time warping distances are established to evaluate the state of *** 2-dimensional feature clustering based on DBSCAN is developed to reduce the number of feature thresholds and differentiate flaw cells from the battery pack with only one parameter under a wide range of *** proposed method can achieve fault diagnosis and voltage anomaly identification as early as 43 days ahead of the thermal *** the results of four electric vehicles and the comparison with other traditional methods validated the proposed method with strong robustness,high reliability,and long time scale warning,and the method is easy to implement online.

Dilated cardiomyopathy(DCM) is a primary myocardial disease of unknown cause that is characterized by ventricular enlargement and ventricular systolic dysfunction(Reichart et al., 2019). DCM exhibits obvious heterogeneity, and its outcomes extend from arrhythmia to heart failure. Early arrhythmia is a common condition that may progressively become aggravated, and death can occur at any stage of the disease. The most serious complications are heart failure and sudden death(Mc Nally et al., 2013).
