Experimental Study on Geometry Characteristics of Turbulent Premixed Flames for Natural Gas/Air Mixtures

In this study,focusing on the geometry characteristics of spherical expanding flame,the turbulent premixed flames of natural gas/air mixtures were investigated in a fan-stirred turbulent *** effects of initial temperature（T=300-400 K）,initial pressure（P=0.1-0.3 MPa）,turbulence intensity（u'=1.0-2.7 m/s）,oxygen volumetric percentage(φ（O2）=15%-21%) and carbon dioxide volumetric percentage(φ（CO2）=0-20%)were delved *** flame profile under the Cartesian coordinate system was derived from the schlieren images taken by the high-speed ***,from both macroscopic and microscopic perspectives,the influence of experimental conditions on the flame geometry characteristics was explored through flame front extraction,wavelet decomposition and network *** results demonstrate that for significant flame wrinkling,changes in species concentrations and turbulence intensity have more pronounced effects on the flame wrinkling *** wrinkling of the flame front maintains a certain degree of similarity,as evidenced by the locally concentrated distribution of the angles of the maximum fluctuation *** disturbance energy under large-scale（D6-D8） disturbances exhibits relatively high values with a similar trend,exerting a significant impact on the geometry characteristics of the flame *** peaks of correlation degree are scattered either with the decomposition scale or the development of flame radius,indicating no linear correlation between different detail ***,the probability distribution of node degrees in key wrinkled regions exhibits different trends with that of large-scale wrinkling and disturbance energy,especially with changes in initial *** occurs because the number of key wrinkles varies based on the perturbation's strength or the region's ***,an increase in the fluctuation frequency of the flame's local radius may not necessarily lead to an increase in the number of key folded regions.

Study on the characteristics of grout permeation based on cylindrical diffusion

Permeation grouting is widely applied for its low grouting pressure and minor disturbance to the stratum in grouting engineering, especially in engineering with strict requirements on ground settlement. However, permeation grouting theory lags behind compared with other engineering disciplines, and the theoretical formulas now available cannot accurately be used to guide grouting engineering design and predict the cost and effects of grouting due to many factors affecting grout permeation in stratum. In this study, permeation grouting experiment devices were independently manufactured with the characteristics of easily controlling grouting pressure, simulating sandy strata grout, and detecting grouting effect. Using a uniform design, the sand consolidation agent, as grouting material, its spread in shenyang sandy strata was tested with these experiment devices. The quantitative relations between grouting factors （grouting pressure, strata parameters, water-sand consolidation agent ratio） and grouting effects （grout spread radius, gell strength, grout amount） are obtained with regression analysis, and the influence degree of grouting factors on grouting effects is studied.

This paper proposes a lightweight reinforcement network (LRN) and auxiliary label distribution learning (ALDL)based robust facial expression recognition (FER) *** designed representation reinforcement (RR) network mainly comprises two modules,i.e.,the RR module and the auxiliary label space construction (ALSC) *** RR module highlights key feature messaging nodes in feature maps,and ALSC allows multiple labels with different intensities to be linked to one ***,LRN has a more robust feature extraction capability when model parameters are greatly reduced,and ALDL is proposed to contribute to the training effect of LRN in the condition of ambiguous training *** tested our method on FER-Plus and RAF-DB datasets,and the experiment demonstrates the feasibility of our method in practice during rehabilitation robots.

Effect of Straw Mixing Amount on Mechanical Properties of Admixture-adding Hollow Block

The bonding mechanism between straw and concrete was analyzed through testing the compressive strength and flexural strength of hollow block, with different straw amount and different dosage and types of admixtures. The test results show that the mechanical properties of hollow blocks reduced after adding straws, and the more straws was added, the more hollow block density decreased. But adding A12（SO4）3 and CaC12 could improve the dense degree between rice straw and concrete. And when the proportion of straw mixing amount was 10%, the flexural strength of the early strength agent （2% A12（SO4）3, CaC12） added hollow block reached as maximal as 3.1 MPa, while the compressive strength was 9.1 MPa, consisting with the strength grade of common concrete hollow block MU7.5.

Using the software ANSYS-19.2/Explicit Dynamics,this study performedﬁnite-element modeling of the large-diameter steel pipeline cross-section for the Beineu-Bozoy-Shymkent gas pipeline with a non-through straight crack,strengthened by steel wire *** effects of the thread tensile force of the steel winding in the form of single rings at the crack edges and the wires with different winding diameters and pitches were also *** results showed that the strengthening was preferably executed at a minimum value of the thread tensile force,which was 6.4%more effective than that at its maximum *** analysis of the inﬂuence of the winding dia-meters showed that the equivalent stresses increased by 32%from the beginning of the crack growth until the wire *** increment in winding diameter decelerated the disclosure of the edge crack and reduced its length by 8.2%.The analysis of the inﬂuence of the winding pitch showed that decreasing the distance between the winding turns also led to a 33.6%reduction in the length of the straight crack and a 7.9%reduction in the maximum stres-ses on the strengthened pipeline *** analysis of the temperature effect on the pipeline material,within a range from-40℃ to+50℃,resulted in a crack length change of up to 5.8%.As the temperature dropped,the crack length *** such a temperature range,the maximum stresses were observed along the cen-tral area of the crack,which were equal to 413 MPa at+50℃ and 440 MPa at-40℃.The results also showed that the presence of the steel winding in the pipeline signiﬁcantly reduced the length of crack propagation up to 8.4 times,depending on the temperature effect and design parameters of *** work integrated the existing methods for crack localization along steel gas pipelines.

An evaluation and query algorithm for the influence of spatial location based on RkNN

This paper is devoted to the investigation of the evaluation and query algorithm problem for the influence of spatial location based on RkNN(reverse k nearest neighbor).On the one hand,an object can make contribution to multiple ***,for the existing measures for evaluating the influence of spatial location,an object only makes contribution to one location,and its influence is usually measured by the number of spatial objects in the *** this case,a new measure for evaluating the influence of spatial location based on the RkNN is *** the weight of the contribution is determined by the distance between the object and the location,the influence weight definition is given,which meets the actual *** the other hand,a query algorithm for the influence of spatial location is introduced based on the proposed ***,an algorithm named INCH(INtersection’s Convex Hull)is applied to get candidate regions,where all objects are ***,kNN and Range-k are used to refine ***,according to the proposed measure,the weights of objects in RkNN results are computed,and the influence of the location is *** experimental results on the real data show that the optimized algorithms outperform the basic algorithm on *** addition,in order to provide the best customer service in the location problem and make the best use of all infrastructures,a location algorithm with the query is presented based on *** influence of each facility is calculated in the location program and the equilibrium coefficient is used to evaluate the reasonability of the location in the *** smaller the equilibrium coefficient is,the more reasonability the program *** actual application shows that the location based on influence makes the location algorithm more reasonable and available.

Fatigue evaluation of steel-concrete composite deck in steel truss bridge—A case study

An innovative composite deck system has recently been proposed for improved structural *** study the fatigue behavior of a steel-concrete composite bridge deck,we took a newly-constructed rail-cum-road steel truss bridge as a case *** transverse stress history of the bridge deck near the main truss under the action of a standard fatigue vehicle was calculated using finite element *** to the fact that fatigue provision remains unavailable in the governing code of highway concrete bridges in China,a preliminary fatigue evaluation was conducted according to the fib Model *** results indicate that flexural failure of the bridge deck in the transverse negative bending moment region is the controlling fatigue failure *** fatigue life associated with the fatigue fracture of steel reinforcement is 56 ***,while the top surface of the bridge deck concrete near the truss cracks after just six years,the bridge deck performs with fatigue cracks during most of its design service *** fatigue capacity is acceptable under design situations,overloading or understrength may increase its risk of *** method presented in this work can be applied to similar bridges for preliminary fatigue assessment.

Macroscopic and Mesoscopic Parameters Introduction into Stress-Strain Relationship Description of Clayey Soils

Disturbed state concept(DSC) theory maintains that the observed actual response(AR) of material under loading effects is composed of and determined by two reference state responses,namely relative intact(RI) state response and fully adjusted(FA) state response. Hardening material shows macroscopic behavior characteristics of RI response and shows negligible mesoscopic structure changes. Pore water pressure dissipation in macroscopic experiment or variance of computerized tomography(CT) value in mesoscopic experiment,as chosen characteristic parameters,can be introduced to the evolution function of disturbance factor to revise response of hardening to be response of softening. RI behavior is constituted via using hardening model. The characteristic parameters are extracted from regulations which exist in macroscopic or mesoscopic experimental data of softening material. DSC approach strategy on response prediction is presented through the combination of characteristic parameters and hardening constitutive model within the procedure of softening response prediction.

Dynamic properties of composite cemented clay

In this work, the dynamic properties of composite cemented clay under a wide range of strains were studied considering the effect of different mixing ratio and the change of confining pressures through dynamic triaxial test. A simple and practical method to estimate the dynamic elastic modulus and damping ratio is proposed in this paper and a related empirical normalized formula is also presented. The results provide useful guidelines for preliminary estimation of cement requirements to improve the dynamic properties of clays.

Ghost Module Based Residual Mixture of Self-Attention and Convolution for Online Signature Verification

Online Signature Verification (OSV), as a personal identification technology, is widely used in various ***, it faces challenges, such as incomplete feature extraction, low accuracy, and computational heaviness. Toaddress these issues, we propose a novel approach for online signature verification, using a one-dimensionalGhost-ACmix Residual Network (1D-ACGRNet), which is a Ghost-ACmix Residual Network that combines convolutionwith a self-attention mechanism and performs improvement by using Ghost method. The Ghost-ACmix Residualstructure is introduced to leverage both self-attention and convolution mechanisms for capturing global featureinformation and extracting local information, effectively complementing whole and local signature features andmitigating the problem of insufficient feature extraction. Then, the Ghost-based Convolution and Self-Attention(ACG) block is proposed to simplify the common parts between convolution and self-attention using the Ghostmodule and employ feature transformation to obtain intermediate features, thus reducing computational ***, feature selection is performed using the random forestmethod, and the data is dimensionally reducedusing Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Finally, tests are implemented on the MCYT-100 datasets and theSVC-2004 Task2 datasets, and the equal error rates (EERs) for small-sample training using five genuine andforged signatures are 3.07% and 4.17%, respectively. The EERs for training with ten genuine and forged signaturesare 0.91% and 2.12% on the respective datasets. The experimental results illustrate that the proposed approacheffectively enhances the accuracy of online signature verification.
