The electrochemical nitrate reduction reaction(eNO_(3)^(-)RR)is considered an effective approach for converting nitrate-containing wastewater to *** adsorption and activation of NO_(3)^(-)is the critical step for many materials and the high energy barrier inhibits the continuation of the reduction *** co nanoparticles encapsulated in the carbon layer we prepared spontaneously react with NO_(3)^(-)and the resulting co^(2+)is then reduced by electroreduction to co^(0),which circulates *** resulted in overcoming the energy input required for NO_(3)^(-)adsorption and conversion,thereby increasing the catalytic *** the same time,the morphology of the catalyst reconstructed from a dodecahedron to an interwoven nanosheet structure and the increased surface area also gives it better *** obtained co(OH)_(2)@co-N-C has an excellent eNO_(3)^(-)RR of 2774.7μg·h^(-1)·cm^(-2)with a Faraday efficiency of 81.4%in neutral *** the same time,the material-modified electrode can run stably for more than 100 *** work provides a new idea for the design of co-based catalysts for eNO_(3)^(-)RR.

The effects of low-co AB_5 type hydrogen storage alloys prepared by quenchingand annealing on the performances of MH-Ni batteries were investigated, and the characteristics ofthe low-co AB_5 type hydrogen storage alloys were compared with those of the high-co AB_5 typehydrogen storage alloy as well. The results showed that the faster the cooling of the low-cohydrogen storage alloy is, the better homogeneity of the chemical composition for the alloy and thelonger cycle life of the battery are, but the electrochemical discharge capacity and high-ratedischarge ability are reduced. The high-rate discharge ability and charge retention of MH-Nibatteries for the conventional as-cast annealed low-co hydrogen storage alloy were superior to thosefor the rapidly quenched low-co hydrogen storage alloy and the high-co hydrogen storage alloy, buta little inferior in the cycle life.

Grinding chatter is a self?induced vibration which is unfavorable to precision machining processes. This paper proposes a forecasting method for grinding state identification based on bivarition empirical mode decomposition(BEMD) and least squares support vector machine(LSSVM), which allows the monitoring of grinding chatter over time. BEMD is a promising technique in signal processing research which involves the decomposition of two?dimen?sional signals into a series of bivarition intrinsic mode functions(BIMFs). BEMD and the extraction criterion of its true BIMFs are investigated by processing a complex?value simulation chatter signal. Then the feature vectors which are employed as an amplification for the chatter premonition are discussed. Furthermore, the methodology is tested and validated by experimental data collected from a CNC guideway grinder KD4020 X16 in Hangzhou Hangji machine tool co., ltd. The results illustrate that the BEMD is a superior method in terms of processing non?stationary and nonlinear signals. Meanwhile, the peak to peak, real?time standard deviation and instantaneous energy are proven to be e ec?tive feature vectors which reflect the di erent grinding states. Finally, a LSSVM model is established for grinding status classification based on feature vectors, giving a prediction accuracy rate of 96%.

Microstructure features of 12 MnNiVR pressure vessel steel welded joint deposited by the high heat input electrogas welding have been systematically investigated. It is revealed that the welded joint is featured by a heterogeneous juxtaposition. The coarse grained heat-affected zone(CGHAZ) primarily consists of lath bainites and minor granular bainites. The fine grained heat-affected zone(FGHAZ) is dominated by polygonal ferrites, pearlites, and fine cementite particles. Moreover, electron backscatter diffraction results further demonstrate that the CGHAZ is populated by coarse prior austenite grains(PAGs) with high frequency(61.3%) of low angle grain boundaries(LAGBs). On the other hand, the FGHAZ is filled with fine PAGs with a lower frequency(19.6%) of LAGBs. Such microstructural differences may likely contribute to differed mechanical properties for samples tested at designed positions.

A cold method was used to prepare coated sand for application in the selective laser sintering(SLS)*** strength,loss on ignition,gas evolution,and accuracy of the SLS samples were tested and analyzed,and the baking process was thoroughly *** with coated sand prepared by the hot method,the cold method yields a more uniform and complete resin film on the sand's surface,resulting in enhanced tensile strength and ***,the cold method requires a lower binder content to meet the same strength requirements,thereby minimizing gas evolution,reducing porosity defects,and ultimately improving casting *** coated sand samples prepared through the cold method exhibit superior accuracy,with a size error of within±0.4 *** contrast,the coated sand samples prepared by the hot method display a lower accuracy,with an average negative error of 2.1993 *** highest tensile strength could be attained by controlling the baking temperature within a suitable range(180-190℃),which can effectively reduce the generation of gas,thus contributing to improved overall performance.

The important supporting component in a gas turbine is the casing,which has the characteristics of large size,complex structure,and thin *** the context of existing 3DP sand casting processes,casting crack defects are prone to *** leads to an increase in the scrap rate of casings,causing significant resource ***,the presence of cracks poses a significant safety hazard after the casings are put into *** generation of different types of crack defects in stainless steel casings is closely related to casting stress and the high-temperature concession of the sand ***,the types and causes of cracks in stainless steel casing products,based on their structural characteristics,were systematically *** sand molds with different internal topology designs were printed using the 3DP technology to investigate the impact of sand mold structures on high-temperature *** optimal sand mold structure was used to cast casings,and the crack suppression effect was verified by analyzing its eddy current testing *** experimental results indicate that the skeleton structure has an excellent effect on suppressing cracks in the *** research holds important theoretical and engineering significance in improving the quality of casing castings and reducing production costs.

Titanium matrix composites reinforced with ceramic particles are considered a promising engineering material due to their combination of high specific strength,low density,and high *** this study,the TA15-based composites reinforced with a volume fraction of 10% to 25%(TiB+TiC)were prepared using powder metallurgy and casting *** characterization and phase constitution were examined using optical microscopy(OM),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and X-ray diffraction(XRD).In addition,the microhardness,room temperature(RT)and high temperature(HT)tensile properties of the composites were *** revealed that the reinforcements are distributed uniformly even in the composites with a high volume of TiB and ***,as the volume fraction exceeds 15%,TiB and TiC particles become coarsening and exhibit rod-like and dendritic-like *** increases gradually from 321.2 HV for the base alloy to a maximum of 473.3 HV as the reinforcement increases to 25vol.%.Tensile test results indicate that a reinforcement volume fraction above 20% is beneficial for enhancing tensile strength and yield strength at high temperatures,but it has an adverse effect on room temperature ***,if the reinforcement volume fraction is below 20%,it can improve high-temperature elongation when the temperature exceeds 600℃.

The in situ(TiC+TiB)/TA15 composites with different volume percentages of reinforcement(10%,15%,20%and 25%)were prepared by water-cooled copper crucible vacuum suspension melting *** structures and compositions of the TA15 alloy and its composites were analyzed by XRD and EDS,and their electrochemical corrosion behaviors in the 3.5%NaCl solution were *** wear testing was conducted using a reciprocating ball-on-disc wear tester under a 10 N *** show that the in situ fibrous TiB phase and the granular TiC phase are uniformly distributed on the composite *** microhardness can reach up to 531 HV as 25vol.%TiC+TiB reinforcement is *** with the TA15 alloy,the volume wear rate decreases from(2.21±0.07)×10^(-4)to(1.75±0.07)×10^(-4)mm^(3)·N^(-1)·m^(-1)by adding 15vol.%TiC+TiB reinforcement,and the wear mechanism is adhesive *** the volume percentage of the reinforcement phase reaches 25%,the volume wear rate increases from(1.75±0.07)×10^(-4)to(2.41±0.07)×10^(-4)mm^(3)·N^(-1)·m^(-1),and the wear mechanism changes into abrasive *** volume loss resulted by the interaction between corrosion and wear accounts for more than 27%of the total wear *** volume loss due to wear-induced corrosion changes from 1.94%to 4.06%with different additions of *** volume loss caused by corrosion-induced wear initially increases from 24.08%to 26.90%as the reinforcement increases from 0 to 15%due to the increase of corrosion potential,and then decreases from 26.90%to 25.68%as the reinforcement increases from 15%to 25%due to the peeling of TiC phase.
