The intergranular corrosion （IGC） behavior of high nitrogen austenitic stainless steel （HNSS） sensitization treated at 650-950℃ was investigated by the double loop electrochemical potentiodynamic reactivation （DL-EPR） method. The effects of the electrolytes, scan rate, sensitizing temperature on the susceptibility to IGC of HNSS were examined. The results show that the addi-tion of NaCl is an effective way to improve the formation of the cracking of a passive film in chromium-depleted zones during the reactivation scan. Decreasing the scan rate exhibits an obvious effect on the breakdown of the passive film. A solution with 2 mol/L H2SO4＋1 mol/L NaCl＋0.01 mol/L KSCN is suitable to check the susceptibility to IGC of HNSS at a sensitizing temperature of 650-950℃ at a suitable scan rate of 1.667 mV/s. Chromium depletion of HNSS is attributed to the precipitation of Cr2N which results in the susceptibility to IGC. The synergistic effect of Mo and N is suggested to play an important role in stabilizing the passive film to prevent the attack of IGC.

BACKGROUND： Scorpion venom from Buthus martensii Karsch is a kind of protein toxin secreted by scorpion tail. According to records of Pen-ts ＇ao Kan-mu, the dried scorpion＇s body and tail are used as medicine, which mainly treating rheumatism numbness, pain and convulsion. Some researches consider that scorpion toxin is the main pharmacological active component of the dried scorpion, and it has 4 times stronger analgesic effect on somatic pain than morphine. OBJECTIVE： To observe the interventional effect of scorpion venom of Buthus martensii Karsch analgesic active peptide on somatic pain. DESIGN： A randomized and controlled trial SETTING： Department of Physiology, shenyang Medical College MATERIALS： Totally 80 Wistar rats （provided by Animal Center of shenyang Medical College）, male and female in half, aged 3 to 4 months, weighed 250 to 350 g, were used in this trial. They were randomly divided into 4 groups： experimental group, control group, morphine group and naloxone group, with 20 in each group. Analgesia active peptide from buthus martensii karsch venom （provided by Biochemical Department of shenyang Pharmaceutical University, 1 mL/dosage）, morphine （produced by Shanghai First Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Plant）, naloxone （opium acceptor inhibitor, American Sigma corporation）, AT- AC-350 data-processing machine （Nihon Kohden corporation）, X-Y recording instrument （Nihon Kohden corporation）. METHODS： The experiment was conducted in the Department of Physiology, shenyang Medical College from July 2003 to July 2005. ① After all the animals were anesthetized, common peroneal nerve is dissected and ligated at middle part. Thermal error monitoring technology is the key technological support to solve the thermal error problem of heavy-duty CNC （computer numerical control） machine tools. Currently, there are many review literatures intro- ducing the thermal error research of CNC machine tools, but those mainly focus on the thermal issues in small and medium-sized CNC machine tools and seldom introduce thermal error monitoring technologies. This paper gives an overview of the research on the thermal error of CNC machine tools and emphasizes the study of thermal error of the heavy-duty CNC machine tool in three areas. These areas are the causes of thermal error of heavy-duty CNC machine tool and the issues with the temperature moni- toring technology and thermal deformation monitoring technology. A new optical measurement technology called the ＂fiber Bragg grating （FBG） distributed sensing tech- nology＂ for heavy-duty CNC machine tools is introduced in detail. This technology forms an intelligent sensing and monitoring system for heavy-duty CNC machine tools. This paper fills in the blank of this kind of review articlesto guide the development of this industry field and opens up new areas of research on the heavy-duty CNC machine tool thermal error.

The atomic-level interfacial regulation of single metal sites through heteroatom doping can significantly improve the characteristics of the catalyst and obtain surprising ***,nickel single-site catalysts(SSCs)with dual-coordinated phosphorus and nitrogen atoms were developed and confirmed(denoted as Ni-PxNy,x=1,2 and y=3,2).In CO_(2)reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR),the CO current density on Ni-PxNy was significantly higher than that of Ni-N4 catalyst without phosphorus ***,Ni-P1N3 performed the highest CO Faradaic efficiency(FECO)of 85.0%–98.0%over a wide potential range of−0.65 to−0.95 V(*** reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE)).Experimental and theoretical results revealed that the asymmetric Ni-P1N3 site was beneficial to CO_(2)intermediate adsorption/desorption,thereby accelerating the reaction kinetics and boosting CO_(2)RR *** work provides an effective method for preparing well-defined dual-coordinated SSCs to improve catalytic performance,targetting to CO_(2)RR applications.

Staged versus ＂one-time＂ multivessel intervention in elderly patients with non-ST-elevation acute coronary syndrome

Objective To evaluate the clinical outcomes of ＂one-time＂ versus staged multivessel stenting in elderly （〉 60 years）patients with non-ST-elevation acute coronary syndrome （NSTE-ACS） and multivessel disease （MVD）. Methods We analyzed data of consecutive NSTE-ACS patients with multivessel percutaneous coronary intervention （PCI） who were enrolled in General Hospital of shenyang Military Region between 2008 and 2012. A total of 1090 eligible patients aged 〉 60 were further categorized into ＂one-time＂ group （n = 623） and staged PCI group （n = 467） according to intervention strategy. The primary endpoint was composite outcome of myocardial infarction （MI） or cardiac death during 3-year follow-up. Results The estimated 3-year composite rate of cardiac death or MI was 7.0% in the staged PCI group and 9.5% in the ＂one-time＂ group （P = 0.110）. Multivariate analysis confmned the benefit of staged PCI on the primary events in the elderly （HR： 0.638, 95% CI： 0.408-3.998, P = 0.049）. In a propensity score matched cohort, staged PCI was associated with lower rates of primary events （6.1% vs. 10.4%, P = 0.046） and MI （3.4% vs. 7.4%, P = 0.037） at three years. In addition, there were reduced trends in the stent thrombosis at 30 days （0.3% vs. 1.4%, P = 0.177） and at three years （1.1% vs. 2.4%, P = 0.199） in the staged PCI group. There was no significant difference in the 3-year target vessel revascularization （15.5% vs. 14.4%, P = 0.746）. Conclusions In elderly NSTE-ACS patients with MVD, staged PCI might be an optimal strategy associated with reduced long-term cardiac death or MI compared with ＂one-time＂ PCI strategy, which needs further confirmation.

AIM:To develop a practical and reproducible rat model of hepatorenal syndrome for further study of the pathophysiology of human hepatorenal syndrome. METHODS:Sprague-Dawley rats were intravenously injected with D-galactosamine and lipopolysaccharide(LPS) via the tail vein to induce fulminant hepatic failure to develop a model of hepatorenal syndrome. liver and kidney function tests and plasma cytokine levels were measured after D-galactosamine/LPS administration,and hepatic and renal pathology was studied. Glomerular filtration rate was detected in conscious rats using micro-osmotic pump technology with fluorescein isothiocyanate-labelled inulin as a surrogate ***:Serum levels of biochemical indicators including liver and kidney function indexes and cytokines all significantly changed,especially at 12 h after D-galactosamine/LPS administration [alanine aminotransferase,3389.5 ± 499.5 IU/L; blood urea nitrogen,13.9 ± 1.3 mmol/L; Cr,78.1 ± 2.9 μmol/L; K+,6.1 ± 0.5 mmol/L; Na+,130.9 ± 1.9 mmol/L; Cl-,90.2 ± 1.9 mmol/L; tumor necrosis factor-α,1699.6 ± 599.1 pg/m L; endothelin-1,95.9 ± 25.9 pg/m L; P line control group]. Hepatocyte necrosis was aggravated gradually,which was most significant at 12 h after treatment with D-galactosamine/LPS,and was characterized by massive hepatocyte necrosis,while the structures of glomeruli,proximal and distal tubules were normal. Glomerular filtration rate was significantly decreased to 30%-35% of the control group at 12 h after D-galactosamine/LPS administration [Glomerular filtration rate(GFR)1,0.79 ± 0.11 m L/min; GFR2,3.58 ± 0.49 m L/min·kg BW-1; GFR3,0.39 ± 0.99 m L/min·g KW-1].
