In an identity based proxy signature (IBPS) scheme, a designated proxy signer can generate the signature on behalf of an original signer. Traditional IBPS schemes normally rely on the assumption that private keys are kept perfectly secure. However, due to viruses, worms or other break-ins allowed by operating-system holes, key exposure seems inevitable. To minimize the damage caused by key exposure in IBPS, we propose an identity-based key-insulated proxy signature (IBKIPS) scheme in the standard model, i.e. without random oracles.

In the wake of rapid advancements in artificial intelligence(AI), we stand on the brink of a transformative leap in data systems. The imminent fusion of AI and DB(AI×DB) promises a new generation of data systems, which will relieve the burden on end-users across all industry sectors by featuring AI-enhanced functionalities, such as personalized and automated in-database AI-powered analytics, and selfdriving capabilities for improved system performance. In this paper, we explore the evolution of data systems with a focus on deepening the fusion of AI and DB. We present NeurDB, an AI-powered autonomous data system designed to fully embrace AI design in each major system component and provide in-database AI-powered analytics. We outline the conceptual and architectural overview of NeurDB, discuss its design choices and key components, and report its current development and future plan.

Owing to the outstanding properties provided by nontrivial band topology, topological phases of matter are considered as a promising platform towards low-dissipation electronics, efficient spin-charge conversion, and topological quantum computation. Achieving ferroelectricity in topological materials enables the non-volatile control of the quantum states, which could greatly facilitate topological electronic research. However, ferroelectricity is generally incompatible with systems featuring metallicity due to the screening effect of free carriers. In this study, we report the observation of memristive switching based on the ferroelectric surface state of a topological semimetal（TaSe4）2I. We find that the surface state of（TaSe4）2I presents out-of-plane ferroelectric polarization due to surface reconstruction. With the combination of ferroelectric surface and charge-density-wave-gapped bulk states, an electric-switchable barrier height can be achieved in（TaSe4）2I-metal contact. By employing a multi-terminal-grounding design,we manage to construct a prototype ferroelectric memristor based on（TaSe4）2I with on/off ratio up to10～3, endurance over 10～3cycles, and good retention characteristics. The origin of the ferroelectric surface state is further investigated by first-principles calculations, which reveal an interplay between ferroelectricity and band topology. The emergence of ferroelectricity in（TaSe4）2I not only demonstrates it as a rare but essential case of ferroelectric topological materials, but also opens new routes towards the implementation of topological materials in functional electronic devices.

Rijndael is a substitution-permutation network（SPN） block cipher for the AES development process. Its block and key sizes range from 128 to 256 bits in steps of 32 bits, which can be denoted by Rijndael-b-k, where b and k are the block and key sizes, respectively. Among them, Rijndael-128-128/192/256,that is, AES, has been studied by many researchers, and the security of other large-block versions of Rijndael has been exploited less frequently. However, more attention has been paid to large-block versions of block ciphers with the fast development of quantum computers. In this paper, we propose improved impossible differential attacks on 10-round Rijndael-256-256, 10-round Rijndael-224-256, and 9-round Rijndael-224-224 using precomputation tables, redundancies of key schedules, and multiple impossible differentials. For 10-round Rijndael-256-256, the data, time, and memory complexities of our attack were approximately 2;chosen plaintexts, 2;encryptions, and 2;blocks, respectively. For 10-round Rijndael-224-256, the data, time, and memory complexities of our attack were approximately 2;chosen plaintexts, 2;encryptions, and 2;blocks, respectively. For 9-round Rijndael-224-224, the data, time, and memory complexities of our attack are approximately 2;chosen plaintexts, 2;encryptions, and 2;blocks,respectively, or 2;chosen plaintexts, 2;encryptions, and 2;blocks, respectively. To the best of our knowledge, our results are currently the best on Rijndael-256-256 and Rijndael-224-224/256.

MTCrossBit: A dynamic binary translation system based on multithreaded optimization

Dynamic optimization has been proposed to overcome many limitations caused by static optimization and is widely applied in dynamic binary translation (DBT) to effectively enhance system ***,almost all the existing dynamic optimization techniques or methods employed in DBT systems for a single-threaded executive environment considerably increase the complexity of the hardware or the striking runtime *** propose a multithreaded DBT framework with no associated hardware called the MTCrossBit,where a helper thread for building a hot trace is employed to significantly reduce the *** addition,the main thread and helper thread are each assigned to different cores to use the multi-core resources efficiently to attain better performance,two novel methods yet to be implemented in the MTCrossBit are presented: the dual-special-parallel translation caches and the new lock-free threads communication mechanism—assembly language communication (ASLC).We then apply quantitative analysis to prove that MTCrossBit can speed up the original ***,we present results from the implementation of the MTCrossBit on the uniprocessor machines with multi-cores utilizing the benchmark-SPECint 2000,and illustrate that we achieved some success with the above concurrent architecture.

An accountable authority attribute-based encryption （A-ABE） scheme is presented in this paper. The notion of accountable authority identity-based encryption （A-IBE） was first introduced by Goyal at Crypto＇07. It is a novel approach to mitigate the （inherent） key escrow problem in identity-based cryptosystems. In this work, the concept of accountable authority to attribute-based encryption （ABE） setting is generalized for the first time, and then a construction is given. The scheme non-trivially integrates an A-IBE scheme proposed by Libert et al. with an ABE scheme. In our construction, a user will be identified by a pair （ id, o~）, where id denotes the user＇ s identity and ω denotes the set of attributes associated to the user. In addition, our construction is shown to be secure under some reasonable assumptions.

In recent studies, visible light communication(VLC) has been predicted to be a prospective technique in the future 6G communication systems. To suit the trend of exponentially growing connectivity, researchers have intensively studied techniques that enable multiple access(MA) in VLC systems, such as the MIMO system based on LED devices to support potential applications in the Internet of Things(IoT) or edge computing in the nextgeneration access network. However, their transmission rate is limited due to the intrinsic bandwidth of ***, the majority of visible light laser communication (VLLC) research with beyond 10 Gb/s data rates concentrates on point-to-point links, or using discrete photodetector(PD) devices instead of an integrated array PD. In this paper, we demonstrated an integrated PD array device fabricated with a Si-substrated GaN/InGaN multiple-quantum-well(MQW) structure, which has a 4 × 4 array of 50 μm × 50 μm micro-PD units with a common cathode and anode. This single-integrated array successfully provides access for two different transmitters simultaneously in the experiment, implementing a 2 × 2 MIMO-VLLC link at 405 nm. The highest data rate achieved is 13.2 Gb/s, and the corresponding net data rate(NDR) achieved is 12.27 Gb/s after deducing the FEC overhead, using 2.2 GHz bandwidth and superposed PAM signals. Furthermore, we assess the Huffman-coded coding scheme, which brings a fine-grain adjustment in access capacity and enhances the overall data throughput when the user signal power varies drastically due to distance, weather, or other challenges in the channel condition. As far as we know, this is the first demonstration of multiple visible light laser source access based on a single integrated GaN/InGaN receiver module.

Detecting Data-flow Errors Based on Petri Nets With Data Operations

In order to guarantee the correctness of business processes, not only control-flow errors but also data-flow errors should be considered. The control-flow errors mainly focus on deadlock, livelock, soundness, and so on. However, there are not too many methods for detecting data-flow errors. This paper defines Petri nets with data operations(PN-DO) that can model the operations on data such as read, write and delete. Based on PN-DO, we define some data-flow errors in this paper. We construct a reachability graph with data operations for each PN-DO, and then propose a method to reduce the reachability graph. Based on the reduced reachability graph, data-flow errors can be detected rapidly. A case study is given to illustrate the effectiveness of our methods.
