With the emergence of the Internet of Things(IoT)and the rapid growth of big data generated by edge devices,there has been a growing need for electronic devices that are capable of processing and transmitting data at low power and high speeds.Traditional complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor(CMOS)devices are nonvolatile and often limited by their ability for certain IoT applications due to their unnecessary power consumption for data movement in von Neuman architecture-based systems.This has led to a surge in research and development efforts aimed at creating innovative electronic components and systems that can overcome these shortcomings and meet the evolving needs of the information era,which share features such as improved energy efficiency,higher processing speeds,and increased functionality.Memristors are a novel type of electronic device that has the potential to break down the barrier between storage and computing.By storing data and processing information within the same device,memristors can minimize the need for data movement,which allows for faster processing speeds and reduced energy consumption.To further improve the energy efficiency and reliability of memristors,there has been a growing trend toward diversifying the selection of dielectric materials used in memristors.Halide perovskites(HPs)have unique electrical and optical properties,including ion migration,charge trapping effect caused by intrinsic defects,excellent optical absorption efficiency,and high charge mobility,which makes them highly promising in applications of memristors.In this paper,we provide a comprehensive overview of the recent development in resistive switching behaviors of HPs and the underlying mechanisms.Furthermore,we summarize the diverse range of HPs,their respective performance metrics,as well as their applications in various fields.Finally,we critically evaluate the current bottlenecks and possible opportunities in the future research of HP memristors.

Preliminary study of the electrospray DPE peculiarities from the liquid surface in the presence of the CSWs

The Ultrasonic Electric Propulsion(UEP)system is a cutting-edge propulsion technology that is mostly used on platforms for small satellites(less than 10 kg).The characteristics of droplet partial emissions(DPEs)in the UEP system are investigated using a high-speed imaging technique(an ultra-high speed camera(NAC HX-6)and a long-distance microscope)in this work.The experiments demonstrate that there are a few partial emission modes,including left-side emission,double-side emission,and right-side emission,that are present in the droplet emission process of the UEP system.These modes are primarily caused by the partial formation of capillary standing waves(CSWs)on the emission surface of the ultrasonic nozzle.The emission rate for single-and double-sided emissions varies at different times,indicating that there are different CSWs engaged in droplet emission due to variations in the liquid film thickness and charge state of the liquid cones.Additionally,as the droplets emit continuously,a raised area on the emission surface appears,with several droplets emitting there as a result of charge accumulation.Additionally,photos of the CSWs with emitting droplets are obtained,which highlights the CSWs'distinctive wave morphology.

Multi-blade rubbing characteristics of the shaft-disk-blade-casing system with large rotation

Blade rubbing faults cause detrimental impact on the operation of aeroengines. Most of the existing studies on blade rubbing in the shaft-disk-blade-casing(SDBC) system have overlooked the elastic deformation of the blade, while some only consider the whirl of the rotor, neglecting its spin. To address these limitations, this paper proposes a dynamic model with large rotation for the SDBC system. The model incorporates the spin and whirl of the rotor, enabling the realistic reproduction of multiblade rubbing faults. To verify the accuracy of the SDBC model with large rotation and demonstrate its capability to effectively consider the rotational effects such as the centrifugal stiffening and gyroscopic effects, the natural characteristics and dynamic responses of the proposed model are compared with those obtained from reported research and experimental results. Furthermore, the effects of the rotating speed, contact stiffness,and blade number on the dynamic characteristics of the SDBC system with multi-blade rubbing are investigated. The results indicate that the phase angle between the rotor deflection and the unbalance excitation force increases with the increasing rotating speed,which significantly influences the rubbing penetration of each blade. The natural frequency of the SDBC system with rubbing constrain can be observed in the acceleration response of the casing and the torsional response of the shaft, and the frequency is related to the contact stiffness. Moreover, the vibration amplitude increases significantly with the product of the blade number under rubbing, and the rotating frequency approaches the natural frequency of the SDBC system. The proposed model can provide valuable insight for the fault diagnosis of rubbing in bladed rotating machinery.

Space truss construction modeling based on on-orbit assembly motion feature

More space truss construction has been planned to develop and utilize space resources.These trusses are designed in the way of large-scale,complex,modular,and on-orbit assembly.To meet the upcoming challenge of large-scale space infrastructure construction,it is necessary to study space truss automation design and robotic construction.This paper proposes an ordinal finite screw adjacency matrix model(OFSAMM),focusing on the relationship between assembly motions,to express and compute a space truss structure.In this model,a space truss is abstracted as a set of ordered assembly motions,each of which is recorded as a finite screw as the basic element of the truss and its assembly.The operation of truss transformation is also derived under this model.Therefore,the truss configuration,the assembly sequence,the truss sub-assembly,the truss components,and the on-orbit assembly task can be expressed and calculated in a unified model,which is calculated and stores the truss topology and assembly with the minimum storage cost.At the end of this paper,we introduce how to synthesize and optimize space truss design through two cases.The study will help to improve design efficiency.Furthermore,it provides a theoretical basis for the automatic construction of space truss structures,especially in the next stage.

Recorded recurrent deep reinforcement learning guidance laws for intercepting endoatmospheric maneuvering missiles

This work proposes a recorded recurrent twin delayed deep deterministic(RRTD3)policy gradient algorithm to solve the challenge of constructing guidance laws for intercepting endoatmospheric maneuvering missiles with uncertainties and observation noise.The attack-defense engagement scenario is modeled as a partially observable Markov decision process(POMDP).Given the benefits of recurrent neural networks(RNNs)in processing sequence information,an RNN layer is incorporated into the agent’s policy network to alleviate the bottleneck of traditional deep reinforcement learning methods while dealing with POMDPs.The measurements from the interceptor’s seeker during each guidance cycle are combined into one sequence as the input to the policy network since the detection frequency of an interceptor is usually higher than its guidance frequency.During training,the hidden states of the RNN layer in the policy network are recorded to overcome the partially observable problem that this RNN layer causes inside the agent.The training curves show that the proposed RRTD3 successfully enhances data efficiency,training speed,and training stability.The test results confirm the advantages of the RRTD3-based guidance laws over some conventional guidance laws.

An active high-static-low-dynamic-stiffness vibration isolator with adjustable buckling beams:theory and experiment

High-static-low-dynamic-stiffness(HSLDS)vibration isolators with buckling beams have been widely used to isolate external vibrations.An active adjustable device composed of proportion integration(PI)active controllers and piezoelectric actuators is proposed for improving the negative stiffness stroke of buckling beams.A nonlinear output frequency response function is used to analyze the effect of the vibration reduction.The prototype of the active HSLDS device is built,and the verification experiment is conducted.The results show that compared with the traditional HSLDS vibration isolator,the active HSLDS device can broaden the isolation frequency bandwidth,and effectively reduce the resonant amplitude by adjusting the active control parameters.The maximum vibration reduction rate of the active HSLDS vibration isolator can attain 89.9%,and the resonant frequency can be reduced from 31.08 Hz to 13.28 Hz.Therefore,this paper devotes to providing a new design scheme for enhanced HSLDS vibration isolators.

Bulging Distortion of Austenitic Stainless Steel Sheet on the Partially Penetrated Side of Non-Penetration Lap Laser Welding Joint

Non-penetration laser welding of lap joints in austenitic stainless steel sheets is commonly preferred in fields where the surface quality is of utmost importance.However,the application of non-penetration welded austenitic stainless steel parts is limited owing to the micro bulging distortion that occurs on the back surface of the partial penetration side.In this paper,non-penetration lap laser welding experiments,were conducted on galvanized and SUS304 austenitic stainless steel plates using a fiber laser,to investigate the mechanism of bulging distortion.A comparative experiment of DC01 galvanized steel-Q235 carbon steel lap laser welding was carried out,and the deflection and distortion profile of partially penetrated side of the sheets were measured using a noncontact laser interferometer.In addition,the cold-rolled SUS304 was subjected to heat holding at different temperatures and water quenching after bending to characterize its microstructure under tensile and compressive stress.The results show that,during the heating stage of the thermal cycle of laser lap welding,the partial penetration side of the SUS304 steel sheet generates compressive stress,which extrudes the material in the heat-affected zone to the outside of the back of the SUS304 steel sheet,thereby forming a bulge.The findings of these experiments can be of great value for controlling the distortion of the partial penetrated side of austenitic stainless steel sheet during laser non-penetration lap welding.

The engineering of the electronic configurations of active sites,together with the production of more accessible active sites through heterostructure design,has been established as a forceful methodology for boosting water electrolysis performance.Herein,a facile approach is developed to fabricate well-dispersed MoO_(2) and WO_(2) nanoparticles with abundant heterointerfaces entrapped in N,P-doped carbon nanofibers(referred to as MoO_(2)/WO_(2)@N,P-CNFs hereafter)as hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)electrocatalysts in alkaline and acidic electrolytes.Extensive spectroscopic analyses and theoretical findings manifest that the heterointerface formed by the work function modulation of MoO_(2)/WO_(2) triggers the spontaneous electron redistribution from MoO_(2)to WO_(2) and a built-in electric field,which is essential to promote water adsorption,optimize the H-intermediate adsorption energy,result in the enhanced charge transfer efficiency,and ultimately increase the intrinsic HER activity.Simultaneously,the intimate confinement of MoO_(2)/WO_(2) heterostructures in the porous carbon substrate can restrain the active sites from unfavorable coarsening and detachment,thus ensuring facilitated HER kinetics and outstanding structural robustness.As a result,MoO_(2)/WO_(2)@N,P-CNFs exhibit superior catalytic HER performance in acidic and basic solutions,requiring 118 and 95 mV overpotentials to achieve 10 mA·cm^(−2),respectively,surpassing a number of reported non-noble metal-based electrocatalysts.This work provides guidelines for the rational design and construction of special metallic heterocomponents with optimized interfacial electronic structure for various electrochemical technologies.

The data analysis of blasting sites has always been the research goal of relevant researchers.The rise of mobile blasting robots has aroused many researchers’interest in machine learning methods for target detection in the field of blasting.Serverless computing can provide a variety of computing services for people without hardware foundations and rich software development experience,which has aroused people’s interest in how to use it in the field ofmachine learning.In this paper,we design a distributedmachine learning training application based on the AWS Lambda platform.Based on data parallelism,the data aggregation and training synchronization in Function as a Service(FaaS)are effectively realized.It also encrypts the data set,effectively reducing the risk of data leakage.We rent a cloud server and a Lambda,and then we conduct experiments to evaluate our applications.Our results indicate the effectiveness,rapidity,and economy of distributed training on FaaS.

Attitude control of multi-spacecraft systems on SO(3)with stochastic links failure

In this paper,for Multi-Spacecraft System(MSS)with a directed communication topology link and a static virtual leader,a controller is proposed to realize attitude consensus and attitude stabilization with stochastic links failure and actuator saturation.First,an MSS attitude error model suitable for a directed topology link and with a static virtual leader based on SO(3)is derived,which considers that the attitude error on SO(3)cannot be defined based on algebraic subtraction.Then,we design a controller to realize the MSS on SO(3)with attitude consensus and attitude stabilization under stochastic links failure and actuator saturation.Finally,the simulation results of a multi-spacecraft system with stochastic links failure and a static virtual leader spacecraft are demonstrated to illustrate the efficiency of the attitude controller.
