Emerging as a prominent area of focus in energy conversion and storage technologies,the development of highly active metal-based single-atom catalysts(SACs)holds great signiﬁcance in searching alternatives to replace precious metals toward the efficient,stable,and low-cost hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),as well as the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).Combining the tremendous tunability of ligand and coordination environment with rich metal-based electrocatalysts can create breakthrough opportunities for achieving both high stability and ***,we propose a novel and stable holey graphene-like carbon nitride monolayer g-C_(16)N5(N_(4)@g-C_(16)N_(3))stoichiometries interestingly behaving as a natural substrate for constructing SACs((TM-N_(4))@g-C_(16)N_(3)),whose evenly distributed holes map rich and uniform nitrogen coordination positions with electron-rich lone pairs for anchoring transition metal(TM)***,we employed density functional theory(DFT)calculations to systematically investigate the electrocatalytic activity of(TM-N_(4))@g-C_(16)N_(3) toward HER/OER/ORR,meanwhile considering the synergistic modulation of H-loading and O-coordination((TM-N_(x)O_(4-x))@g-C_(16)N_(3)^(-)H_(3),x=0–4).Together a“four-step procedure”screening mechanism with the first-principles high-throughput calculations,we find that(Rh-N_(4))and(Ir-N_(2)O_(2)-II)distributed on g-C_(16)N_(3)^(-)H_(3) can modulate the adsorption strength of the adsorbates,thus achieving the best HER/OER/ORR performance among 216 candidates,and the lowest overpotential of 0.098/0.3/0.46 V and 0.06/0.48/0.45 V,***,the d-band center,crystal orbital Hamilton population(COHP),and molecular orbitals are used to reveal the OER/ORR activity ***,the Rh/Ir-d orbital is dramatically hybridized with the O-p orbital of the oxygenated adsorbates,so that the lone-electrons incipiently locate at the antibonding orbital pair up and popula

In the summer of 2022,China(especially the Yangtze River Valley,YRV)suffered its strongest heatwave(HW)event since *** this study,we examined the influences of multiscale variabilities on the 2022 extreme HW in the lower reaches of the YRV,focusing on the city of *** found that about 1/3 of the 2022 HW days in shanghai can be attributed to the long-term warming trend of global *** mid-summer of 2022,an enhanced western Pacific subtropical high(WPSH)and anomalous double blockings over the Ural Mountains and Sea of Okhotsk,respectively,were associated with the persistently anomalous high pressure over the YRV,leading to the extreme *** Pacific Decadal Oscillation played a major role in the anomalous blocking pattern associated with the HW at the decadal time ***,the positive phase of the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation may have contributed to regulating the formation of the double-blocking *** warming of both the warm pool of the western Pacific and tropical North Atlantic at the interannual time scale may also have favored the persistency of the double blocking and the anomalously strong *** the subseasonal time scale,the anomalously frequent phases 2-5 of the canonical northward propagating variability of boreal summer intraseasonal oscillation associated with the anomalous propagation of a weak Madden-Julian Oscillation suppressed the convection over the YRV and also contributed to the ***,the 2022 extreme HW originated from multiscale forcing including both the climate warming trend and air-sea interaction at multiple time scales.

Parallel continuum robots(PCRs) have attracted increasing attention in the robotics community due to their simplicity in structure,inherence with compliance, and easiness of realization. Over the past decade, a variety of novel designs have been reported to enrich their diversity. However, there is a lack of systematic review of these emerging robots. To this end, this paper conducts a comprehensive survey on the mechanism design, kinetostatic modeling and analysis, and performance evaluation. For these robots, kinetostatic modeling plays a fundamental role throughout the design, analysis, and control stages. A systematic review of the existing approaches for kinetostatic modeling and analysis is provided, and a comparison is made to distinguish their differences. As well, a classification is made according to the characteristics of structure and actuation. In addition, performance evaluation on the workspace, stability, and singularity is also overviewed. Finally, the scenarios of potential applications are elaborated, and future research prospects are discussed. We believe that the information provided in this paper will be particularly useful for those who are interested in PCRs.

In recent years,there has been a growing interest in graph convolutional networks(GCN).However,existing GCN and variants are predominantly based on simple graph or hypergraph structures,which restricts their ability to handle complex data correlations in practical *** limitations stem from the difficulty in establishing multiple hierarchies and acquiring adaptive weights for each of *** address this issue,this paper introduces the latest concept of complex hypergraphs and constructs a versatile high-order multi-level data correlation *** model is realized by establishing a three-tier structure of ***,we start by establishing hyperedge clusters on a foundational network,utilizing a second-order hypergraph structure to depict potential *** this second-order structure,truncation methods are used to assess and generate a three-layer composite *** the construction of the composite structure,an adaptive learning strategy is implemented to merge correlations across different *** evaluate this model on several popular datasets and compare it with recent state-of-the-art *** comprehensive assessment results demonstrate that the proposed model surpasses the existing methods,particularly in modeling implicit data correlations(the classification accuracy of nodes on five public datasets Cora,Citeseer,Pubmed,Github Web ML,and Facebook are 86.1±0.33,79.2±0.35,83.1±0.46,83.8±0.23,and 80.1±0.37,respectively).This indicates that our approach possesses advantages in handling datasets with implicit multi-level structures.

We theoretically study the transmission spectrum of the cavity field in a double-cavity optomechanical system with cross-Kerr(CK) effect. The system consists of two tunneling coupling optomechanical cavities with a mechanical resonator as a coupling interface. By doping CK medium into the mechanical resonator, CK couplings between the cavity fields and the mechanical resonator are introduced. We investigate the effects of CK coupling strength on the transmission spectrum of the cavity field, including the transmission rate, nonreciprocity and four-wave mixing(FWM). We find that the transmission spectrum of the probe field can show two obvious transparent windows, which can be widened by increasing the CK coupling strength. For the transmission between the two cavity fields, the perfect nonreciprocity and reciprocity are present and modulated by CK coupling and phase difference between two effective optomechanical couplings. In addition, the effects of the optomechanical and CK couplings on FWM show that the single peak of FWM is split into three symmetrical peaks due to the introduction of the CK effect.

Eliminating the effects of gravity and designing nonlinear energy sinks(NESs)that suppress vibration in the vertical direction is a challenging task with numerous damping *** this paper,the dynamic design of a vertical track nonlinear energy sink(VTNES)with zero linear stiffness in the vertical direction is proposed and realized for the first *** motion differential equations of the VTNES coupled with a linear oscillator(LO)are *** the strong nonlinearity considered of the VTNES,the steady-state response of the system is analyzed with the harmonic balance method(HBM),and the accuracy of the HBM is verified *** this basis,the VTNES prototype is manufactured,and its nonlinear stiffness is *** damping effect and dynamic characteristics of the VTNES are studied theoretically and *** results show that the VTNES has better damping effects when strong modulation responses(SMRs)***,even for small-amplitude vibration,the VTNES also has a good vibration suppression *** sum up,in order to suppress the vertical vibration,an NES is designed and developed,which can suppress the vertical vibration within certain ranges of the resonance frequency and the vibration intensity.

The fast X-ray imaging beamline(BL16U2)at shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility(SSRF)is a new beamline that provides X-ray micro-imaging capabilities across a wide range of time scales,spanning from 100 ps toμs and *** beamline has been specifically designed to facilitate the investigation of a wide range of rapid phenomena,such as the deformation and failure of materials subjected to intense dynamic *** addition,it enables the study of high-pressure and high-speed fuel spray processes in automotive *** light source of this beamline is a cryogenic permanent magnet undulator(CPMU)that is cooled by liquid *** CPMU can generate X-ray photons within an energy range of 8.7-30 *** beamline offers two modes of operation:monochromatic beam mode with a liquid nitrogen-cooled double-crystal monochromator(DCM)and pink beam mode with the first crystal of the DCM out of the beam *** X-ray imaging methods were implemented in BL16U2:single-pulse ultrafast X-ray imaging,microsecond-resolved X-ray dynamic imaging,millisecond-resolved X-ray dynamic micro-CT,and high-resolution quantitative ***,BL16U2 is equipped with various in situ impact loading systems,such as a split Hopkinson bar system,light gas gun,and fuel spray *** the completion of the final commissioning in 2021 and subsequent trial operations in 2022,the beamline has been officially available to users from 2023.

In this study,the interactions between a Ga-based liquid metal,GaInSn,and several metal materials,including pure metals(Ni and Ti)and alloys(316H stainless steel(SS)and GH3535),at 650℃were *** aim was to evaluate the corrosion performance and select a suitable candidate material for use as a molten salt manometer diaphragm in thermal energy storage *** results indicated that the alloys(316H SS and GH3535)exhibited less corrosion than pure metals(Ni and Ti)in liquid ***-rich binary intermetallic compounds were found to form on the surfaces of all the tested metal materials exposed to liquid GaInSn,as a result of the decomposition of liquid GaInSn and its reaction with the constituent elements of the metal *** corrosion mechanism for all the tested materials exposed to liquid GaInSn was also investigated and proposed,which may aid in selecting the optimal candidate material when liquid GaInSn is used as the pressure-sensing medium.
