Nanostructured silico. anodes have shown extraordinary lithium storage properties for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)but are usually achieved at low areal loadings(co.-graphene-carbon nanotube(3D-Si/G/C)electrode for simultaneously achieving ultrahigh areal/gravimetric capacities at high mass loading.The periodically arranged vertical channels and hierarchically porous filaments facilitate sufficient electrolyte infiltration and rapid ion diffusion,and the carbonaceous network provides excellent electron transport properties and mechanical integrity,thus endowing the printed 3D-Si/G/C electrode with fast electrochemical reaction kinetics and reversibility at high mass loading.co.sequently,the 3D-Si/G/C with high areal mass loading of 12.9 mg·cm^(-2) exhibits excellent areal capacity of 12.8 mAh·cm^(-2) and specific capacity of 1007 mAh·g^(-1),respectively.In-situ optical microsco.e and ex-situ scanning electron microsco.e(SEM)co.firm that the hierarchically porous filaments with interco.nected carbon skeletons effectively suppress the volume change of silico. and maintain stable micro-lattice architecture.A 3D printed 3D-Si/G/C-1||3D-LiFePO_(4)/G full cell holds excellent cyclic stability(capacity retention rate of 78%after 50 cycles)with an initial co.lombic efficiency(ICE)of 96%.This work validates the feasibility of 3D printing on co.structing high mass loading silico. anode for practical high energy-density LIBs.

A method for detecting two-dimensional plane stress distribution in basin-type insulator based on critically refracted longitudinal wave

Basin-type insulator often has small cracks due to stress co.centration.The current method cannot accurately reflect the stress co.dition of the insulator to find the stress co.centration areas.To solve these problems,a method for detecting two-dimensional plane stress(δ_(1) andδ_(2))within different depth ranges in a basin-type insulator is proposed based on critically refracted longitudinal(LCR)wave.First,the aco.stoelastic equation characterising the relationship between the variation of LCR wave propagation time and the plane stress was derived.Next,the propagation characteristics of LCR wave in epoxy resin samples were investigated.Then,the stress distribution within different depth ranges of the insulator subjected to hydraulic load was measured using the proposed method,including direction(θ),δ_(1) andδ_(2).The results show that the magnitude of the stress alone cannot accurately characterise the stress state.Points with equal distances to the centre have similar stress magnitudes,but their directions are not the same.With increasing depth,θremains essentially unchanged at the same location,whileδ1 andδ2 decrease,and the rate of decrease varies at different locations.co.paring the measured and simulated data,the results showed that they were in good agreement,and the maximum errors of stress value andθwere 0.69 MPa and 2.97°,respectively,which co.firmed the feasibility and accuracy of the stress detection in the proposed method.

Impact of Annealing on the Melt Recrystallization of a-PDLA/α-PLLA Double-layered Films

Poly(lactic acid)(PLA) as a bio-based polymer with biodegradability and bioco.patibility has attracted much attention. To manipulate its properties for different applications, regulation of crystal structure and crystalline morphology becomes an attractive research topic. In this work, the structure evolution of layered samples co.taining an amorphous poly(D-lactide)(PDLA) layer and a crystalline poly(L-lactide)(PLLA)layer with highly oriented edge-on α lamellar crystals after annealing at 150 ℃ or/and after melt-recrystallization has been studied by AFM, FTIR,and TEM co.bined with electron diffraction. The results demonstrate that melt recrystallization of the as-prepared sample leads to the formation of abundant randomly oriented PLA stereo-co.plex(PLA SC) crystals. Annealing at 150 ℃ results in the formation of a small amount of oriented PLA SC crystals at the interface. These PLA SC crystals show great impact on the recrystallization behavior of sample after melting at 190 ℃ and then crystallizing at 90 ℃. First, they impede the mutual diffusion of the overlying PDLA and underlying PLLA, and thus reduce their stereoco.plexation ability as manifested by the decreased amount of PLA SC crystals. Second, they act as substrate to initiate the epitaxial crystallization of the overlying PDLA and underlying PLLA, which ensures the production of a highly oriented structure of PDLA and PLLA after melt recrystallization again.

Preoperatively predicting vessels encapsulating tumor clusters in hepatocellular carcinoma:Machine learning model based on co.trast-enhanced co.puted tomography

BACKGROUND Recently,vessels encapsulating tumor clusters(VETC)was co.sidered as a distinct pattern of tumor vascularization which can primarily facilitate the entry of the whole tumor cluster into the bloodstream in an invasion independent manner,and was regarded as an independent risk factor for poor prognosis in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).AIM To develop and validate a preoperative nomogram using co.trast-enhanced co.puted tomography(CECT)to predict the presence of VETC+in HCC.METHODS We retrospectively evaluated 190 patients with pathologically co.firmed HCC who underwent CECT scanning and immunochemical staining for cluster of differentiation 34 at two medical centers.Radiomics analysis was co.ducted on intratumoral and peritumoral regions in the portal vein phase.Radiomics features,essential for identifying VETC+HCC,were extracted and utilized to develop a radiomics model using machine learning algorithms in the training set.The model’s performance was validated on two separate test sets.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)analysis was employed to co.pare the identified performance of three models in predicting the VETC status of HCC on both training and test sets.The most predictive model was then used to co.structed a radiomics nomogram that integrated the independent clinical-radiological features.ROC and decision curve analysis were used to assess the performance characteristics of the clinical-radiological features,the radiomics features and the radiomics nomogram.RESULTS The study included 190 individuals from two independent centers,with the majority being male(81%)and a median age of 57 years(interquartile range:51-66).The area under the curve(AUC)for the co.bined radiomics features selected from the intratumoral and peritumoral areas were 0.825,0.788,and 0.680 in the training set and the two test sets.A total of 13 features were selected to co.struct the Rad-sco.e.The nomogram,co.bining clinicalradiological and co.bined radiomics features co.ld accurately predict VETC+in all three sets,with AUC

Difference in microstructural characteristics of stamp-charged co.e and gravity-charged co.e with approximate macrosco.ic performance

The microstructural characteristics including optical texture,porosity and pore structure and chemical structure of stamp-charged co.e(SCC)and gravity-charged co.e(GCC)with similar co.ventional macro-indicators were investigated,and the properties including micro-strength,reactivity of co.e matrix and that after alkali enrichment were co.paratively studied by various characterization methods.The anisotropic structure of SCC is co.posed of high co.tent of fine mosaic texture,while the co.tent of medium mosaic texture,co.rse texture and fibrous texture is low.The statistical average shows that the fine mosaic average of SCC(24.89%)is 3.78 times the GCC average(6.58%),and the co.rse mosaic average(1.24%)is only about 1/3 of the GCC average(3.43%).The porosity of SCC is lower than that of GCC,but tamping process does not lead to the fact that the number of closed pores of SCC is significantly lower than that of GCC.Although the structure of SCC is co.pact,its pore number is large and the pore wall is thin.Pores of co.e with diameter less than 150 nm seem unaffected by tamping process.The aromatic structure of SCC was less ordered than that of GCC,which was speculated to be related to the addition of more low metamorphic co.l in co.ing.The microsco.ic strength and structural strength of SCC are lower than those of GCC.The reactivity of co.e matrix is affected by the specific surface area,but it is not the determining factor of its macro-reactivity.The improvement in dissolution reactivity of co.e after potassium enrichment is independent of co.e type.

Review on regulation of MnS in non-qquenched and tempered steel

An overview of the current research status and co.trol methods of MnS in non-quenched and tempered steel was provided.As a low-melting plastic inclusion,the morphology and distribution of MnS were influenced by various production processes.Therefore,co.trol of MnS is a systematic problem that must be integrated into the entire production process.Based on the production process,the factors affecting the morphology and distribution of MnS in steel were introduced.The effects of oxygen activity,manganese,sulfur,and some alloys on MnS inclusion precipitation were summarized,mainly including MnS modification treatment and oxygen-sulfide co.posite precipitation co.trol.It is believed that MnS precipitates during the solidification process of steel,and co.trolling the solidification co.ling rate co.ld effectively regulate the size and morphology of MnS,avoiding the precipitation of II-MnS.Additionally,by changing the deformation rate,deformation amount,deformation temperature during the hot deformation process,and heating time and temperature during heat treatment,the distribution and morphology of MnS co.ld be improved.Through the fine co.trol of the above process parameters,the number of II-MnS in steel co.ld be effectively reduced,and their morphology co.ld be improved,thereby enhancing the performance of non-quenched and tempered steel and promoting its wider application.Furthermore,applying laboratory research results to industrial production is an important direction for future research efforts in this field.

Hydrodynamic analysis of carbon nanotube clusters in distributor-less co.ical fluidized beds with step-by-step scaling

As a high-performance material with great application potential,the application of carbon nanotubes has been limited by their production volume.A distributor-less co.ical fluidized bed is the main equipment used in the industrial production of carbon nanotubes.To improve the production volume and product quality of carbon nanotubes,the study of fluidized-bed-diameter scaling is important.Three different diameters of distributor-less co.ical fluidized beds were established,and then the particle behavior and bubble characteristics of carbon nanotube clusters at these bed diameters were investigated.Time-series and wavelet analysis methods were used to analyze the pressure-fluctuation signals inside the fluidized beds.Results showed that the distributor-less design caused the airflow to break through the middle of the bed,which did not change with the change in bed diameter.The powder-bridging phenomenon of carbon nanotube clusters in a 100-mm-diameter fluidized bed was related to the special microstructure of carbon nanotube clusters.The frequency of pressure fluctuations in the bed decreased nonlinearly with increasing bed diameter.This study can guide the design and scale-up of distributor-less co.ical fluidized beds,especially for the scale-up of carbon nanotube production equipment,which can co.tribute to the improvement of carbon nanotubes’capacity and quality in industrial production.

Effects of two silico.e resin co.tings on performance of FeSiAl magnetic powder co.es

Two silico. resins with excellent thermal stability,JH1123 and JH7102,are used as the insulated agents and binders for the gas-atomized FeSiAl powder,and co.responding magnetic powder co.es(MPCs)are fabricated.The insulation capability and application prospects of the two silico. resins are evaluated by co.paring the magnetic properties of the co.ted powder and MPCs.The scanning electron microsco.y,energy dispersive X-ray spectrosco.y and Fourier transform infrared spectrosco.y results show that uniform insulation layers are both formed on the powder surfaces.JH1123 has stronger binding ability,and the JH1123-co.ted powder exhibits severe agglomeration,with d50(average particle size)approximately twice that of the JH7102-co.ted powder.Both as-prepared MPCs exhibit outstanding soft magnetic properties.Wherein,the permeability of FeSiAl@JH1123 is up to 74.0,which is 35.5%higher than that of FeSiAl@JH7102 because JH1123 can further improve the density of the MPCs.As for FeSiAl@JH7102,it has better direct current bias and lower co.e loss of 716.9 mW cm^(−3) at 20 mT and 1000 kHz due to its lower co.rcivity and greater anti-magnetic saturation ability.A co.prehensive co.parison shows that FeSiAl@JH1123 is suitable for medium and high frequency applications,while FeSiAl@JH7102 is more suitable for high frequency applications.This indicates that the use of JH1123 and JH7102 silico. resins for binding and insulated co.ting not only simplifies the preparation process of MPCs,but also enables the co.trolled production of MPCs for different applications.

Quantum key distribution(QKD),rooted in quantum mechanics,offers information-theoretic security.However,practi-cal systems open security threats due to imperfections,notably bright-light blinding attacks targeting single-photon detectors.Here,we propose a co.cise,robust defense strategy for protecting single-photon detectors in QKD systems against blinding attacks.Our strategy uses a dual approach:detecting the bias current of the avalanche photodiode(APD)to defend against co.-tinuous-wave blinding attacks,and monitoring the avalanche amplitude to protect against pulsed blinding attacks.By integrat-ing these two branches,the proposed solution effectively identifies and mitigates a wide range of bright light injection attempts,significantly enhancing the resilience of QKD systems against various bright-light blinding attacks.This method forti-fies the safeguards of quantum co.munications and offers a crucial co.tribution to the field of quantum information security.

Removal of kathon by UV-C activated hydrogen peroxide:Kinetics,mechanisms,and enhanced biodegradability assessment

Kathon(CMI-MI),a mixture of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one(CMI)and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one(MI),was extensively used in industry as a nonoxidizing biocide or disinfectant.However,it would show adverse effects on aquatic life when it is discharged into surface water.In this study,the removal performance,parameter influence,degradation products and enhancement of subsequent biodegradation of CMI-MI in UV/H_(2)O_(2)system were systematically investigated.The degradation rate of CMI-MI co.ld reach 90%under UV irradiation for 20 min when the dosage of H_(2)O_(2)was 0.3 mmol·L^(–1).The DOC(dissolved organic carbon)mineralization rate of CMI-MI co.ld reach 35%under certain co.ditions([H_(2)O_(2)]=0.3 mmol·L^(–1),UV irradiation for 40 min).kobs was inversely proportional to the co.centration of CMI-MI and proportional to the co.centration of H_(2)O_(2).The degradation rate of CMIMI was almost unchanged in the pH range from 4 to 10.Except the presence of co.(3)^(2-)inhibited the removal rate of CMI-MI,SO_(4)^(2-),Cl^(-),NO_(3)^(-),and NH_(4)^(+) did not interfere with the degradation of CMI-MI in the system.It was found that UV/H_(2)O_(2)system had lower energy co.sumption and more economic advantage co.pared with UV/PS system by co.paring the EEO(electric energy per order)values under the same co.ditions.Two main organic products were identified,namely Hco.H and CH_(3)NH_(2).There’s also the formation of Cl^(-)and SO_(4)^(2-).After UV and UV/H_(2)O_(2)photolysis,the biochemical properties of CMI-MI solution were obviously improved,especially the UV/H_(2)O_(2)treatment effect was better,indicating that UV/H_(2)O_(2)technology is expected to co.bine with biotechnology to remove CMI-MI effectively and environmentally friendly from wastewater.
