Background:Although programmed cell death 1(PD-1)blockade plus chemotherapy can significantly prolong the progression-free survival(PFS)and overall survival(OS)in first-line settings in patients with driver-negative advanced non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC),the predictive biomarkers remain ***,we investigated the predictive value of tumor immune microenvironmental marker expression to characterize the response features to PD-1 blockade plus ***:Tumor tissue samples at baseline were prospectively co.lected from 144 locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC patients without driver gene alterations who received camrelizumab plus chemotherapy or chemotherapy *** immune microenvironmental markers,including PD-1 ligand(PDL1),CD8,CD68,CD4 and forkhead box P3,were assessed using multiplex immunofluorescence(mIF)***-Meier curveswere used to determine treatment outco.e differences acco.ding to their expression *** profiles were co.pared between tumors with distinct expression levels of these markers and their ***:Responders had significantly higher CD8/PD-L1(P=0.015)or CD68/PD-L1 co.expression levels(P=0.021)than non-responders in the camrelizumab plus chemotherapy group,while no difference was observed in the chemotherapy *** with high CD8/PD-L1 or CD68/PD-L1 co.expression level was associated with significantly longer PFS(P=0.002,P=0.024;respectively)and OS(P=0.006,P=0.026;respectively)than those with low co.expression in camrelizumab plus chemotherapy *** co.paring survival in the camrelizumab plus chemotherapy with chemotherapy by CD8/PD-L1 co.expression stratification,significantly better PFS(P=0.003)and OS(P=0.032)were observed in high co.expression *** predictive value of CD8/PD-L1 and CD68/PD-L1 co.expression remained statistically significant for PFS and OS when adjusting clinico.athological *** the prevalence of TP53 or KRAS mutations was similar bet

Aquaculture and mariculture are beco.ing an increasingly important source of food supply in many co.ntries and ***,with the expansion of aquaculture and mariculture co.es increasing emissions of greenhouse gases(GHG)which co.tribute to global warming and climate *** leads the world in aquaculture and mariculture production,but there are no studies that systematically assess China's overall carbon footprint from these *** study quantified GHG emissions from aquaculture and mariculture by four source phases(feed,energy use,nitrous oxide and fertilizers),and then analyzed the carbon footprint of each of these phases for GHG production of nine major species groups over the past ten years to show the spatial distribution of GHG emissions from aquaculture and mariculture in *** results showed that the production of feed materials co.tributed most to the GHG emissions and found that crop energy use,crop land use changes(LUC),fertilizer production,crop nitrous oxide production and rice methane production were the main sources of feed *** total GHG emissions of the nine species groups were 112 Mt(10^(9) kg)co.(2)e,the nine species acco.nting for approximately 86%of aquaculture and mariculture *** emissions of cyprinids had the highest co.tribution at 47%.Spatial analysis based on our study showed Guangdong,Hubei,Jiangsu and shandong had the highest GHG emissions of all the provinces in this study,and they acco.nted for approximately 46%of all *** regional Gross Domestic Product(GDP)was significantly positively co.related with GHG emissions in every province,with a co.relation co.fficient higher than *** results showed for the first time the relationship between the relative production by species co.position and spatial distribution of GHG emissions from aquaculture and mariculture in *** findings provide the scientific basis for reduction of GHG emissions within a broader co.text of expanding aqu

Genome miniaturization drives key evolutionary innovations of adaptive traits in vertebrates,such as the flight evolution of ***,whether similar evolutionary processes exist in invertebrates remains poorly *** from the seco.d-largest animal phylum,scallops are a special group of bivalve molluscs and acquire the evolutionary novelty of the swimming lifestyle,providing excellent models for investigating the co.rdinated genome and lifestyle ***,we show for the first time that genome sizes of scallops exhibit a generally negative co.relation with loco.otion *** elucidate the co.evolution of genome size and swimming lifestyle,we focus on the Asian moon scallop(Amusium pleuronectes)that possesses the smallest known scallop genome while being among scallops with the highest swimming ***-genome sequencing of *** reveals highly co.served chromosomal macrosynteny and microsynteny,suggestive of a highly co.tracted but not degenerated *** reduction of *** is facilitated by significant inactivation of transposable elements,leading to reduced gene length,elevated expression of genes involved in energy-producing pathways,and decreased co.y numbers and expression levels of biomineralization-related *** evolutionary changes of relevant pathways are also observed for bird genome reduction with flight *** striking mimicry of genome miniaturization underlying the evolution of bird flight and scallop swimming unveils the potentially co.mon,pivotal role of genome size fluctuation in the evolution of novel lifestyles in the animal kingdom.

Abstract： With the rapid development of assisted reproductive technology, various reproductive disorders have been effectively addressed. Acupuncture-like therapies, including electroacupuncture （EA） and transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation （TEAS）, beco.e more popular world-wide. Increasing evidence has demonstrated that EA and TEAS are effective in treating gyneco.ogical disorders, especially infertility. This present paper describes how to select acupoints for the treatment of infertility from the view of theories of traditional Chinese medicine and how to determine critical parameters of electric pulses of ENTEAS based on results from animal and clinical studies. It summarizes the principles of clinical application of EA/rEAS in treating various kinds of reproductive disorders, such as polycystic ovary syndrome （Pco.）, pain induced by oocyte retrieval, diminished ovarian reserve, embryo transfer, and oligosperrnia/ asthenospermia. The possible underlying mechanisms mediating the therapeutic effects of EA/TEAS in reproductive medicine are also examined.

Detection of Favorable Alleles for Quality- and Yield-related Traits in Wheat Using a Backcross Population

Development of wheat varieties with high yield and good quality has been a major objective in wheat breeding.A BC 1 F 2-3 population was used to detect QTLs for wheat quality related traits: SDS-sedimentation value (Ssd),grain protein co.tent (GPC),grain hardness (GH) and 11 mixograph parameters,as well as five agronomic traits: spike length (SL),spikelet number per spike (SPN),grain number per spike (GN),thousand-grain weight (TGW),and plant height (PH).A total of 44 putative QTLs were detected in the present study,31 for quality parameters and 13 for important agronomic traits,including three important major *** major QTL for Ssd ***-1B.1,linked to barc137,explained on average 21.1% of the phenotypic variation in three *** allele increasing Ssd at this locus also significantly increased *** seco.d locus on chromosome 1B with the linked marker Barc 61 was a major locus for mixograph *** explained 21.3%-32.5%,24.3%-30.6%,30.6%-37% and 20.1%-22.7% of phenotypic variation for mixing tolerance (MT),weakening slope (WS),midline peak time (MPTi) and midline time x =8 value (MTxW),*** third major QTL,explaining above 40% of plant height variation,close to Rht-B 1 on the short arm of chromosome 4BS,co.located with QTL for quality and yield-related traits.

Background:The 5-fluorouracil/leuco.orin plus oxaliplatin(FOLFOX)regimen is the standard first-line treatment for metastatic co.orectal cancer(mCRC),however,the optimal seco.d-line regimen for KRAS wild-type mCRC patients is still *** this study,we aimed to determine the clinical efficacy and safety of CMAB009 plus irinotecan co.pared to irinotecan-only as a seco.d-line regimen for treating KRAS wild-type mCRC ***:Patients with KRAS wild-type mCRC who had previously failed to respond to FOLFOX treatment were ran-domly assigned in a 2:1 ratio,to receive CMAB009 plus irinotecan or *** receiving irinotecan-only were permitted to switch to CMAB009 therapy on disease progression and were grouped as the sequential-CMAB009 *** primary endpoints were overall response rate(ORR)and median progression-free survival(PFS).The seco.d-ary endpoints were median overall survival(OS),disease co.trol rate(DCR),clinical benefit rate(CBR),and duration of response(DOR).Results:The CMAB009 plus irinotecan arm demonstrated significantly improved ORR(33.2%vs.12.8%;Pco.pared to the irinotecan-only *** receiv-ing CMAB009 plus irinotecan also demonstrated improved DCR(80.1%vs.65.2%,Pco.pared to ***,patients treated with CMAB009 had an increased risk of skin rash(66.9%vs.5.5%,Pco.clusions: Treatment with CMAB009 plus irinotecan was found
