The fiber Bragg grating （FBG） strain sensors were used for on-line monitoring of the stress variation of the lined wall in the gateway retained along the goaf of No. 3203 coal mining face in Dongtan Mine. The results showed that the FBG strain sensor with the wide measuring range could measure the stress variation accurately during the support process of the gateway retained along the goaf and could provide the basis to further optimize the support structure and to determine the support plan of the gateway retained along the goaf. The FBG micro-seismic sensors were used in Xinglong Mine to detect the micro-seismic signal. The signals were well received and analyzed to determine the location and energy level of the source of the micro-seismic event warning. The FBG sensors and detecting system show a significant potential for micro-seismic detection and geological disasters detection.

This paper presents the development of a cost-effective precision fiber Bragg grating （FBG） interrogation system using long-wavelength vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser （VCSEL）. Tuning properties of a long-wavelength VCSEL have been studied experimentally. An approximately quadratic dependence of its wavelength on the injection current has been observed. The overall design and key operations of this system including intensity normalization, peak detection, and quadratic curve fitting are introduced in detail. The results show that the system achieves an accuracy of 1.2 pm with a tuning range of 3 nm and a tuning rate of 1 kHz. It is demonstrated that this system is practical and effective by applied in the FBG transformer temperature monitoring.

MgH2is considered as a promising hydrogen storage material for its high hydrogen storage capacity,low cost and abundant resource ***,the low kinetics and high enthalpy formation of MgH2limit its wide *** the perspective of adding catalysts to enhance the hydrogen storage properties of Mg-MgH2,this article elaborated the main catalysts based on Ti and Nb transition elements,including single oxide catalysts,binary oxides catalysts（combined with Ni,Na,Sr,V,etc.）,multiple catalysts bound to carbon,and composite catalysts with Ti and Nb elements combined with MXene ***,the main pathways of various catalysts to reduce the reaction activity and broaden the hydrogen desorption channel were also *** Ti-based catalysts can enhance the reactive sites of the matrix by forming multivalent states,while Nb-based catalysts broaden the hydrogen reaction channels by forming tiny *** improving the size structure and enhancing the grain size stability,combined with carbon materials should be the future considerations.

The influence of buffer layer growth conditions on the crystal quality and residual stress of GaN film grown on silicon carbide substrate is investigated. It is found that the A1GaN nucleation layer with high growth temperature can efficiently decrease the dislocation density and stress of the GaN film compared with A1N buffer layer. To increase the light extraction efficiency of GaN-based LEDs on SiC substrate, flip-chip structure and thin film flip-chip structure were designed and optimized. The fabricated blue LED had a maximum wall-plug efficiency of 72% at 80 mA. At 350 mA, the output power, the Vf, the dominant wavelength, and the wall-plug efficiency of the blue LED were 644 roW, 2.95 V, 460 nm, and 63%, respectively.

We propose a NOR flash-based computing-in-memory(CIM) to implement high-precision(32-bit) Poisson image editing, including the gradient operations and Laplace operation. To meet the requirements of image processing, CIM operation schemes and reliabilities are carefully studied and optimized,showing that the power consumption at the near-threshold-voltage(NTV) region can be as low as 40 fJ/bit,which is two orders lower than working at the saturation region. High-temperature retention, as well as various disturbs, are also analyzed. The proposed CIM scheme can be applied as an energy-efficient approach to construct the high-precision image processing accelerator.

An advanced stability analysis of surrounding rock can assure safe construction in ***,in traditional analysis methods,geometric information on the rock mass discontinuities is obtained by a geological compass and treated as an infinitely expanded plane in a numerical simulation,which is inaccurate in both geometric and numerical *** solve this problem,this paper studied a control network and an image stitch method to assess the accuracy of a geometric model and proposed a more accurate method to obtain the geometric information of rock mass discontinuities based on digital *** on discrete fracture network and discrete element method(DFN-DEM),this paper treated the rock mass discontinuities obtained by digital photogrammetry as finite disk planes and simulated the excavation process of the Qianyu *** to the simulation results,this paper determined the specific location of the collapse disaster on the tunnel face,which is of great significance to tunnel support *** the deformation of the surrounding rock mass on the tunnel face in the simulation results with the actual situation,this paper verified the feasible accuracy of this method in analysing the stability of the surrounding rock mass on a tunnel face in advance.

Influence of the upper waveguide layer thickness on optical field in asymmetric heterostructure quantum well laser diode

Asymmetric broad-waveguide separate-confinement heterostructure（BW-SCH） quantum well（QW） laser diode emitting at 808 nm is analyzed and designed *** dependence of the optical field distribution, vertical far-field angle,and internal loss on different thicknesses of the upper waveguide layer is calculated and *** results show that when the thicknesses of the lower and upper waveguide layers are 0.45 and 0.3μm,respectively,for the devices with 100-μm-wide stripe and 1000-μm-long cavity,an output power of 7.6 W at 8 A,a vertical far-field angle of 37°,a slope efficiency of 1.32 W/A, and a threshold current of 189 mA can be obtained.

In order to improve the characteristics of the general broad-waveguide 808-nm semiconductor laser diode （LD）, we design a new type quantum well LD with an asymmetric cladding structure. The structure is grown by metal organic chemical vapor deposition （MOCVD）. For the devices with 100-ttm-wide stripe and 1000-/zm-long cavity under continuous-wave （CW） operation condition, the typical threshold current is 190 mA, the slope efficiency is 1.31 W/A, the wall-plug efficiency reaches 63%, and the maximum output power reaches higher than 7 W. And the internal absorption value decreases to 1.5 cm^-1.

Diabetes mellitus is a global public health concern affecting an estimated 537 million people,and patients with diabetes are more susceptible to developing chronic wounds^([1,2]).The wound healing process is often affected by various factors,including infection,tissue hypoxia,necrosis,exudates,and excessive inflammatory cytokines^([3]).Presently,there is no effective treatment for refractory wound healing,and the development of new techniques and therapeutic strategies is urgently required for patients with diabetes who have chronic wounds.
