Pollution sources of atmospheric fine particles and seco.dary aerosol characteristics in Beijing

To investigate the seco.dary formation and pollution sources of atmospheric particles in urban Beijing,PM2.5 and its chemical co.ponents were co.lected and determined by URG-9000 D ambient ion monitor(AIM) from March 2016 to January *** water-soluble ions(WSIs), NO3-,SO42- and NH4+(SNA) had the largest proportion(77.8%) with the total co.centration of 23.8 μg/***,as fine particle pollution worsened,the NO3-,SO42- and NH4+ co.centrations increased basically,which revealed that seco.dary aerosols were the main cause of particle pollution in ***,the particle neutralization ratio(1.1),the ammonia to sulfate molar ratio(3.4) and the nitrate to sulfate molar ratio(2.2) showed that seco.dary aerosols are under ammonium-rich co.ditions with the main chemical forms of NH4 NO3 and(NH4)2 SO4,and vehicle emission co.ld be the main anthropogenic source of seco.dary aerosols in *** analysis further indicated that seco.dary aerosols,solid fuel co.bustion,dust and marine aerosol were the principal pollution sources of PM2.5,acco.nting for about 46.1%,22.4% and 13.0%,respectively,and Inner Mongolia and Hebei Provinces co.ld be co.sidered as the main potential sources of PM2.5 in urban *** addition,seco.dary formation process was closely related with gaseous precursor emission amounts(SO2,NO2,NH3 and HONG),atmospheric ozone co.centration(O3),meteorological co.ditions(temperature and relative humidity) and particle *** analysis of the thermodynamic equilibrium model(ISORROPIA Ⅱ)revealed that co.trolling total nitrate(TN) is the effective measure to mitigate fine particle pollution in Beijing.

The primary cracks in the rock block undergo series of steps and finally disintegrate,during this procession,the radius affects the impact force of rock block in clastic ***,it is essential to figure out the evolution mechanism of crack propagation for the design of engineering *** this study,based on fracture mechanics and Hertz co.tact theory,co.lision happened between rock block and slope surface is assumed to be elastic *** on the above assumption,the critical impact force of crack propagation is obtained,and a model used to calculate the crack propagation length in a single co.lision is ***,a rock fall site in Jiuzhai Valley was used to verify the calculation *** to the model,several key factors were identified to influence crack propagation length including falling height,initial equivalent radius,and reco.ery co.fficient of slope ***,as a result of the orthogonal experiment,the influence of those factors on the crack propagation length was ranked,normal reco.ery co.fficient>initial radius>initial falling *** addition,the kinetic energy of the rock block in the co.pression stage is transformed into elastic deformation energy,angular kinetic energy,and dissipated energy of crack *** to the increase of co.lisions,the kinetic energy is gradually transformed into angular kinetic energy,and the dissipated energy of crack propagation weights is *** co.clusion,the crack propagation in rock block is a co.plicated progress,which is affected by multiple factors,especially falling height,initial equivalent radius,and reco.ery co.fficient of slope *** study may provide guidance for the design of protective structure of clastic flows.

Rechargeable batteries currently hold the largest share of the electrochemical energy storage market,and they play a major role in the sustainable energy transition and industrial decarbonization to respond to global climate *** to the increased popularity of co.sumer electronics and electric vehicles,lithium-ion batteries have quickly beco.e the most successful rechargeable batteries in the past three decades,yet growing demands in diversified application scenarios call for new types of rechargeable *** efforts are made to developing the next-generation post-Li-ion rechargeable batteries,which include,but are not limited to solid-state batteries,lithium–sulfur batteries,sodium-/potassium-ion batteries,organic batteries,magnesium-/zinc-ion batteries,aqueous batteries and flow *** the great achievements,challenges persist in precise understandings about the electrochemical reaction and charge transfer process,and optimal design of key materials and interfaces in a *** roadmap tends to provide an overview about the current research progress,key challenges and future prospects of various types of rechargeable *** co.putational methods for materials development,and characterization techniques will also be discussed as they play an important role in battery research.

Accurate simulation of characteristics performance and state of health(SOH)estimation for lithium-ion batteries are critical for battery management systems(BMS)in electric *** simplified electrochemical model(SEM)can achieve accurate estimation of battery terminal voltage with less co.puting *** ensure the applica-bility of life-cycle usage,degradation physics need to be involved in SEM *** work co.ducts deep analysis on battery degradation physics and develops an aging-effect co.pling model based on an existing improved single particle(ISP)***,three mechanisms of solid electrolyte interface(SEI)film growth throughout life cycle are analyzed,and an SEI film growth model of lithium-ion battery is built co.pled with the ISP ***,a series of identification co.ditions for individual cells are designed to non-destructively determine model ***,battery aging experiment is designed to validate the battery performance simulation method and SOH estimation *** validation results under different aging rates indicate that this method can accurately es-timate characteristics performance and SOH for lithium-ion batteries during the whole life cycle.

The Western Route of the South-to-North Water Transfer Project will divert water from the upper Yangtze River and its tributaries, the Dadu River and Yalong River, to the upper Yellow River. The project may ease the water shortage in the Yellow River Basin. However, it may also have some effects on the eco.ystem in the upper Yangtze River Basin. Benthic invertebrates play an important role in the river eco.ystem, particularly in the circulation of materials and nutrition. Benthic invertebrates are widely used to quickly assess river eco.ystems because of their rapid response to changes in the water environment. The diversity of benthic invertebrates is closely associated with the aquatic habitat area. This study examined this interaction by sampling the benthic invertebrates in an expanding area. The co.clusions are that the diversity of benthic invertebrates begins to decrease when the aquatic habitat area is reduced to 45% of the original area, and decreases dramatically when the aquatic habitat area is reduced to 10% of the original area. The aquatic habitat area should be kept at more than 45% of the original area in order to maintain the significant diversity of benthic invertebrates.

As a vital vehicle part,the powertrain system is undergoing a fast transition towards *** new integrated electric drive system has been widely used,especially for passenger *** this work,a novel electric dual motor transmission is proposed for heavy co.mercial *** transmission scheme is firstly introduced,which can achieve 9 different operating modes including 5 single motor modes and 4 dual motor ***,the mode shift map with minimum energy co.sumption is designed based on the motor efficiency map and the proposed energy management *** driving power is appropriately distributed between the two motors in dual motor modes under the co.dition of minimum power *** addition,a co.rdinated co.trol strategy is developed for mode shift co.trol without power *** results show that the electric dual motor transmission has advantages in power co.sumption and power shift ability co.pared with the co.ventional single motor automated manual transmission.

In the multi-wave and multi-co.ponent seismic exploration,shear-wave will be split into fast wave and slow wave,when it propagates in anisotropic media. Then the authors can predict polarization direction and density of crack and detect the development status of cracks underground acco.ding to shear-wave splitting phenomenon. The technology plays an important role and shows great potential in crack reservoir detection. In this study,the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm based on shrinkage factor is co.bined with the Pearson co.relation co.fficient method to obtain the fracture azimuth angle and density. The experimental results show that the modified method can improve the co.vergence rate,accuracy,anti-noise performance and co.putational efficiency.

Spiking deco.volution is a standard Wiener Levinson algorithm. The autoco.relation of the design time gate is co.puted and there is a specified taper on the design gate before the autoeorrelation is done. The standard equations are set up, prewhitening is added to the zero lag value of the autoco.relation and the matrix is inverted to derive the spiking operator. In this study, the authors describe a technique for performing spiking deco.volution on prestack time migration （PSTM） data, to test the effect of operator length and percent prewhitening in spiking deco.volution and apply spiking deco.volution trace by trace, with operator lengths 15ms, 10 ms and 5 ms when percent prewhitening 0% , 40ms and 60ms for percent prewhitening 1%. The results show when prewhitening is 0% the shorter operator gives better results, but when value of prewhitening is bigger than 0% it is better to use longer operator lengths.
