A variety of new N-(5-(benzofuranol-7-oxymethyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)amide co.pounds(8a-i)were synthesized through four steps from benzofuranol as raw *** crystal structure of co.pound 8a(C17H21N3O3S,Mr=347.43)was measured by X-ray diffraction,which was classified as monoclinic system,Z=4,V=1742.72(8)Å3,Dc=1.324 Mg/m3,F(000)=736,S=1.03,μ=0.21 mm-1,space group P21 with a=9.9177(3),b=8.9519(2),c=19.8679(5)Å,the final R=0.035 and wR=0.105 for 3873 observed reflections(I>2σ(I)).The X-ray structure presented N(3)-H(3)···N(2)and C(6)-H(6)···O(3)intermolecular hydrogen bonds,which acted as an important role in stabilizing the crystal ***,preliminary biological assay on co.pound 8a showed good fungicidal activity in vivo,with the inhibition of 75%against Pseudoperonospora cu-bensis at 200 mg/L.

Effects of Diet on the Volatile Flavor and Nutritional Ingredients of co.mon Octopus(Octopus vulgaris)

Cephalopods are important eco.omic shellfish that have been developed extensively in the co.stal water of various co.ntries. Octopus vulgaris is a large-scaled eco.omic cephalopod that is mainly cultured in South China. This study explored the effect of different diets on the volatile flavor and nutritional ingredients of O. vulgaris. Four diets were tested in four groups: Group A(fish(Sco.beromorus niphonius)), Group B(crab(Helice tridens tientsinensis Rathbun)), Group C(clam(Mactra veneriformis)), and Group D(squid(Loligo japonica)). Octopus muscles were sampled after 36 days of feeding, and volatile flavor substances(VFSs), fatty acids(FAs), and amino acids(AAs) were detected. Results showed that the VFSs, FAs, and AAs of octopus in the four groups were obviously different. The sum of volatile ketones and aldehydes was higher in Group B than in the other groups, which co.ld present much more flavors. All groups were abundant in unsaturated FAs, including eico.apentaenoic acid(EPA) and doco.ahexaenoic acid(DHA). In terms of co.tent and variety, the FAs in Group B were more beneficial to human health than those in the other groups. The co.tent of each AA in Group B was basically higher than those in the other groups and was significantly higher than that in Group D(P co.paring the VFSs, FAs, and AAs in samples fed with four kinds of diets, the results indicate that using crab to feed O. vulgaris can achieve better effects on volatile flavor and nutritional ingredients.

Muco.al vaccination,which has the potential to induce both muco.al and systemic immune responses,is co.sidered the most suitable method of preventing infectious diseases in farmed *** veronii and Edwardsiella ictaluri are two pathogenic bacteria found in yellow catfish and often infect the fish through muco.al *** of a bivalent inactivated vaccine by injection has been shown to induce a strong systemic immune response against both bacterial ***,muco.al immune responses and protective efficiency induced by this inactivated vaccine administrated via immersion are yet to be *** developed a bivalent vaccine co.taining formalin-inactivated *** and *** and evaluated the immune response in yellow catfish after immersion vaccination using body fluids biochemistry indices,agglutinating antibody titers,and the expression level of immune-related genes in the skin,gills,spleen,and head *** activities of innate immune-related enzymes and specific agglutination antibody titers in body fluids,as well as the expression of innate and adaptive immune-related genes in both the muco.al and systemic tissues of vaccinated fish,were significantly higher than that in co.trol ***,we assessed the protective efficacy by a challenge model of virulent strains of *** and *** relative survival percent of vaccinated fish was 80%and 87%after challenging fish with *** and ***,respectively,which was higher than unvaccinated co.trol fish(43%and 57%).These results co.firm that the bivalent inactivated vaccine administered via immersion induces a strong muco.al immune response and co.fers good protection against both *** and *** results also reinforce the notion that immersion vaccination co.ld stimulate both muco.al and systemic immunity co.tributing to protection against pathogens.

Lignocellulosic biomass is an abundant and renewable bioresource for the production of biofuels and biochem-ical *** classical biorefinery process for lignocellulosic degradation and co.version co.prises three stages,i.e.,pretreatment,enzymatic saccharification,and ***,the co.plicated pretreatment process,high co.t of cellulase production,and insufficient production performance of fermentation strains have restricted the industrialization of *** bioprocessing(CBP)technology co.bines the pro-cess of enzyme production,enzymatic saccharification,and fermentation in a single bioreactor using a specific microorganism or a co.sortium of microbes and represents another approach worth exploring for the production of chemicals from lignocellulosic *** present review summarizes the progress made in research of CBP technology for lignocellulosic biomass *** this review,different CBP strategies in lignocellulose biore-finery are reviewed,including CBP with natural lignocellulose-degrading microorganisms as the chassis,CBP with biosynthetic microorganisms as the chassis,and CBP with microbial co.culturing *** review provides new perspectives and insights on the utilization of low-co.t feedstock lignocellulosic biomass for production of biochemicals.

Over the last several hundred years,donkeys have adapted to high-altitude co.ditions on the Tibetan ***,the kiang,a closely related equid species,also inhabits this *** reports have demonstrated the importance of specific genes and adaptive introgression in divergent lineages for adaptation to hypoxic co.ditions on the Tibetan ***,we assessed whether donkeys and kiangs adapted to the Tibetan Plateau via the same or different biological pathways and whether adaptive introgression has *** assembled a de novo genome from a kiang individual and analyzed the genomes of five kiangs and 93 donkeys(including 24 from the Tibetan Plateau).Our analyses suggested the existence of a strong hard selective sweep at the EPAS1 locus in *** Tibetan donkeys,however,another gene,i.e.,EGLN1,was likely involved in their adaptation to high *** addition,admixture analysis found no evidence for interspecific gene flow between kiangs and Tibetan *** findings indicate that despite the short evolutionary time scale since the arrival of donkeys on the Tibetan Plateau,as well as the existence of a closely related species already adapted to hypoxia,Tibetan donkeys did not acquire adaptation via admixture but instead evolved adaptations via a different biological pathway.

Outbreaks of severe virus infections with the potential to cause global pandemics are increasingly co.cerning. One type of those co.monly emerging and re-emerging pathogens are co.onaviruses(SARS-co.V, MERS-co.V and SARS-co.V-2).Wild animals are hosts of different co.onaviruses with the potential risk of cross-species transmission. However, little is known about the reservoir and host of co.onaviruses in wild animals in Qinghai Province, where has the greatest biodiversity among the world's high-altitude regions. Here, from the next-generation sequencing data, we obtained a known beta-co.onavirus(beta-co.V) genome and a novel delta-co.onavirus(delta-co.V) genome from faecal samples of 29 marmots, 50 rats and 25 birds in Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, China in July 2019. Acco.ding to the phylogenetic analysis, the beta-co.V shared high nucleotide identity with co.onavirus HKU24. Although the novel delta-co.V(Mt co.V) was closely related to Sparrow deltaco.onavirus ISU42824, the protein spike of the novel delta-co.V showed highest amino acid identity to Sparrow co.onavirus HKU17(73.1%). Interestingly, our results identified a novel host(Montifringilla taczanowskii) for the novel delta-co.V and the potential cross-species transmission. The most recent co.mon ancestor(t MRCA) of Mt co.Vs along with other closest members of the species of co.onavirus HKU15 was estimated to be 289 years ago. Thus, this study increases our understanding of the genetic diversity of beta-co.Vs and deltaco.Vs, and also provides a new perspective of the co.onavirus hosts.
