Sedimentary facies identification is critical for carbonate oil and gas reservoir *** traditional method of sedimentary facies identification not only be affected by the engineer's experience but also takes a long *** carbonate sedimentary facies based on machine learning is the trend of future development and has the advantages of short time co.suming and reliable results without engineers'subjective *** many references reported the application of machine learning to identify lithofacies,but identifying sedimentary facies of carbonate reservoirs is much more challenging due to the co.plex sedimentary environment and tectonic *** paper co.pares the performance of the carbonate sedimentary facies identification using four different machine learning models,and the optimal machine learning with the highest prediction accuracy is ***,the carbonate sedimentary facies are classified into the lagoon,shallow sea,shoal,fore-shoal,and inter-shoal five tags based on the well ***,five well log curves including spectral gamma ray(SGR),uranium-free gamma ray(CGR),photoelectric absorption cross-section index(PE),true formation resistivity(RT),shallow lateral resistivity(RS)are used as the input,and the manual identified carbonate sedimentary facies are used as the output of the machine learning *** performance of four different machine learning algorithms,including support vector machine(SVM),deep neural network(DNN),long short-term memory(LSTM)network,and random forest(RF)are *** other two wells are used for model *** research results show that the RF method has the highest accuracy of sedimentary facies prediction,and the average prediction accuracy is 78.81%;the average accuracy of sedimentary facies prediction using SVM is 77.93%.The sedimentary facies predictions using DNN and LSTM are less satisfying co.pared with RF and SVM,and the average accuracy is 69.94%and 73.05%,respect

Mathematical model of solidification for round CC billets

A co.pled mathematical model was established to simulate the whole solidification process of round billet continuous casting for wheel steel using piecewise linear functions of heat flux density in the mold, the seco.dary co.ling zone and the with- drawing-straightening zone. The calculated results were co.sistent with the measured data showing that the model acco.ds with the practice. The surface temperature and the solidified shell thickness of round billets are more strongly influenced by casting speed than by casting temperature. The holding zones have effect on surface temperature, which is more obvious for the 450 mm round billet. The relation between casting temperature/speed and solidification end is expressed as a linear function. The solidification end is located after straightening machine.

Effects of Temperature and Alloying Elements on γ Phase Fraction of Grain-oriented Silico. Steel

The effects of temperature and alloying elements on γ phase fraction of grain-oriented silico. steel,which co.tained 2.97-3.42mass% Si and 0.028-0.058mass% C,were studied by microstructure observation and ***,the quantitative relationships of temperature as well as C,Si,and Mn co.tents to γ phase fraction were obtained by numerical *** experimental results show that γ phase fraction firstly increases with increasing temperature,reaches a maximum and then decreases in the temperature range of 900-1 250 ℃.The temperature co.responding to the maximum γ phase fraction is about 1 150-1 200℃.Meanwhile,the γ phase fractions in steels at the same temperature have some differences because of different co.tents of various alloying *** verification results show that the values of γ phase fractions to C,Si,and Mn co.tents at the specific temperatures,which were obtained by multiple linear regression method,agree well with the measured *** addition,the values of γ phase fractions to C,Si,and Mn co.tents in the temperature range of 900-1 250℃,which were obtained by binomial regression method,agree with the measured values when the co.tents of Mn and soluble Al are not more than 0.320mass% and 0.034mass%,*** obtained equations can carry out the approximate prediction of γ phase fractions of grain-oriented silico. steels during the hot rolling process.

Advanced wastewater treatment with microalgae-indigenous bacterial interactions

Microalgal-indigenous bacterial wastewater treatment(MBWT)emerges as a promising approach for the co.current removal of nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P).Despite its potential,the prevalent use of MBWT in batch systems limits its broader ***,the success of MBWT critically depends on the stable self-adaptation and synergistic interactions between microalgae and indigenous bacteria,yet the underlying biological mechanisms are not fully *** we explore the viability and microbial dynamics of a continuous flow microalgae-indigenous bacteria advanced wastewater treatment system(CFMBAWTS)in processing actual seco.dary effluent,with a focus on varying hydraulic retention times(HRTs).The research highlights a stable,mutually beneficial relationship between indigenous bacteria and *** and indigenous bacteria can create an optimal environment for each other by providing essential co.actors(like iron,vitamins,and indole-3-acetic acid),oxygen,dissolved organic matter,and *** co.laboration leads to effective microbial growth,enhanced N and P removal,and energy *** study also unco.ers crucial metabolic pathways,functional genes,and patterns of microbial ***,the effluent NH4 t-N and P levels co.plied with the Chinese national Class-II,Class-V,Class-IA,and Class-IB wastewater discharge standards when the HRT was reduced from 15 to 6 *** results,including the highest rates of co. fixation(1.23 g L^(-1)),total energy yield(32.35 kJ L^(-1)),and the maximal lipid(33.91%)and carbohydrate(41.91%)co.tent,were observed at an HRT of 15 ***,this study not only co.firms the feasibility of CFMBAWTS but also lays a crucial foundation for enhancing our understanding of this technology and propelling its practical application in wastewater treatment plants.

Texture and inhibitor features of grain-oriented pure iron produced by different co.d-rolling processes

To promote the manufacture of grain-oriented pure iron, the texture and inhibitor features of two samples A and B produced by different co.d-rolling processes were studied by optical microsco.y, X-ray diffraction, and transmission electron microsco.y. The results showed that a higher co.tent of inhibitor elements directly resulted in a greater number of fine inhibitors, which exhibited strong inhibitory ability, leading to more fine precipitates of appropriate size effectively inhibiting the growth of primary grains in decarburized bands （sheets） during the single-stage co.d-rolling process. The formation of the co.ponent with { 110}〈001〉 Goss orientation was greatly suppressed in the stage of primary recrystallization, and this co.ponent co.ld hardly be observed in the decarburized band; by co.trast, the {411 }〈148〉-oriented grains grew. During the process of high-temperature annealing, abnormal growth occurred and seco.dary recrystallized grains （Goss orientation） merged with other matrix grains such as { 111 }〈112〉 and {411 }〈148〉. The magnetic induction of samples A and B at 800 Aim was 1.939 T and 1.996 T, respectively.

Mg-6Zn-2X(Fe/Cu/Ni)alloys were prepared through semi-continuous casting,with the aim of identifying a degradable magnesium(Mg)alloy suitable for use in fracturing balls.A co.parative analysis was co.ducted to assess the impacts of adding Cu and Ni,which result in finer grains and the formation of galvanic co.rosion *** electronic microsco.y examination revealed that precipitated phases co.centrated at grain boundaries,forming a semi-continuous network structure that facilitated co.rosion penetration in Mg-6Zn-2Cu and Mg-6Zn-2Ni *** co.rosion was observed in Mg-6Zn-2Fe,while galvanic co.rosion was identified as the primary mechanism in Mg-6Zn-2Cu and Mg-6Zn-2Ni *** the tests,the Mg-6Zn-2Ni alloy exhibited the highest co.rosion rate(approximately 932.9 mm/a)due to its significant potential *** testing showed that Mg-6Zn-2Ni alloy possessed suitable ultimate co.pressive strength,making it a potential candidate material for degradable fracturing balls,effectively addressing the challenges of balancing strength and degradation rate in fracturing applications.
