Understanding the co.ing behaviors has been co.sidered to be really essential for developing better vacuum residue processing technologies.A battery of thermal cracking tests of typical vacuum residue at 410℃ with various reaction time were performed to evaluate the co.e formation *** total yields of ideal co.ponents including naphtha,atmospheric gas oil(AGO)and vacuum gas oil(VGO)of thermal cracking reactions increased from 10.89%to 40.81%,and the co.version ratios increased from8.05%to 43.33%with increasing the reaction time from 10 to 70 *** asphaltene co.tent increased from 12.14%to a maximum of 22.39%and then decreased,and this maximum of asphaltene co.tent occurred at the end of the co.ing induction *** asphaltenes during the co.ing induction period,at the end and after co.ing induction period of those tested thermal cracking reactions were characterized to disclose the structure changing rules for co.e formation process,and the co.e formation pathways were discussed to reveal the co.e formation process at molecular level.

OBJECTIVE: To explore the material basis of the difference of efficacy of Dahuang(Radix Et Rhizoma Rhei Palmati)-Taoren(Semen Persicae)(DT) drugs with different proportions. METHODS: Samples of different ratios of Dahuang(Radix et Rhizoma Rhei Palnati, DH) to Taoren(Semen Persicae, TR)(Group A 1∶1, B 2∶3, C 3∶2) were analyzed based on gas chromatography time-of-flight mass spectrometry untargeted metabolomics technique. RESULTS: A total of 240 primary metabolites were detected. Forty-one differential metabolites involved nine differential metabolic pathways, of which four were closely related to the efficacy of DT in the treatment of heat and blood stasis syndrome. These pathways included the biosynthesis of amino acid(phenylalanine tyrosine and tryptophan), flavonoids, unsaturated fatty acids, and the glyco.ysis/glyco.enesis pathway. co.CLUSION: There are significant differences in the efficacy of different ratios of DT drugs, and their optimal ratio for the treatment of heat and blood stasis syndrome should be 1∶1.

Different Ca-based layered double oxides（LDO） were applied in the removal of co.taminants in used lubricating oil as an alternative deco.orant. CaAl-LDO and CaFeAl-LDO achieved much greater deco.oration efficiency than the traditional deco.orants, where 0.93 and 0.91 of the deco.oration efficiency under the optimum co.ditions were obtained, respectively. The deco.oration activity with CaFeAl-LDO > CaAl-LDO >> CaFe-LDO was revealed by both Density Functional Theory（DFT） calculations and experimental analysis. Ca12Al14O33was shown to be the active co.ponent for deco.oration. Fe3+doped into CaAl-LDO co.ld improve deco.oration activity via a changed charge distribution of deco.orant. High preferential adsorption activity, which originated from different charge distribution for co.taminants instead of the oil co.ponents, co.tributed to outstanding deco.oration performance. The activity depended on the adsorption intensity of co.taminants, where the most of the active deco.orant neither too strongly or weakly bound with the co.taminants. The results of this study suggested the Cabased LDOs co.ld be a potentially alternative deco.orants for regenerating the used lubricating oil.

Excessively high temperatures inside a power transformer can accelerate the ageing rate and even cause unplanned *** estimating the hot-spot temperature(HST)of a power transformer is important for regulating the load and ensuring long-term *** this study,a closed-loop model of a 110-kV product transformer with an oil natural/air forced(ONAF)co.ling mode is built to predict HST,in which the co.pression ratio of windings,equivalent heat source and radiator geometry are *** to the flow field of the winding,the‘dead oil zone’and reverse oil flow are observed in the horizontal oil *** accuracy of the proposed model is experimentally validated by temperature-rise *** results show that the absolute errors between the measured results and simulation are below 5°C,and the average error is~2°***,the arrangements of windings and radiators are studied to enhance the oil *** adding 5 washers to the high-voltage winding,the average temperature can be decreased by 6°C co.pared with the case without a *** the radiator can also mitigate the characteristic temperatures,and the optimal height difference between the radiator and winding centre is suggested to be 0.66 m.

A three-dimensional reco.struction of rough fracture surfaces of hydraulically fractured rock outcrops is carried out by casting process,a large-scale experimental setup for visualizing rough fractures is built to perform proppant transport *** typical characteristics of proppant transport and placement in rough fractures and its intrinsic mechanisms are investigated,and the influences of fracture inclination,fracture width and fracturing fluid visco.ity on proppant transport and placement in rough fractures are *** results show that the rough fractures cause variations in the shape of the flow channel and the fluid flow pattern,resulting in the bridging buildup during proppant transport to form unfilled zone,the emergence of multiple co.plex flow patterns such as channeling,reverse flow and bypassing of sand-carrying fluid,and the influence on the stability of the sand *** proppant has a higher placement rate in inclined rough fractures,with a maximum increase of 22.16 percentage points in the experiments co.pared to vertical fractures,but exhibits poor stability of the sand *** fracture width aggravates the bridging of proppant and induces higher pumping *** the visco.ity of the fracturing fluid can weaken the proppant bridging phenomenon caused by the rough fractures.

The utilization of prefabricated light modular radiant heating system has demonstrated significant increases in heat transfer efficiency and energy co.servation *** prefabricated building co.struction,this new heating method presents an opportunity for the development of co.prehensive *** parameters for evaluating the effectiveness of such a system are the upper surface layer’s heat flux and *** this paper,thermal resistance analysis calculation based on a simplified model for this unique radiant heating system analysis is presented with the heat transfer mechanism’s *** results obtained from thermal resistance analysis calculation and numerical simulation indicate that the thermal resistance analysis method is highly accurate with temperature discrepancies ranging from 0.44℃ to−0.44℃ and a heat flux discrepancy of less than 7.54%,which can meet the requirements of practical engineering applications,suggesting a foundation for the prefabricated radiant heating system.

Climate change and extreme weather pose significant challenges to the traditional viticulture *** high-altitude grape-producing regions with diverse orientations have shown great potential in co.ing with this ***,high-quality wine grape production may be achieved by synchronizing the meso-and *** clarify the role of high altitude and row orientation in meso-and microclimate and the response of berries to it,we evaluated seven years(2012-2018)of climate data,two years of basic grape(Cabernet Sauvignon,Vitis vinifera L.)quality,and one-year microclimate from veraison to *** co.paring two locations(Sidon 2047 m,Sinon 2208 m)in Yunnan Province,China,we found that the average temperature has been stable at approximately 15℃ for seven years,with no extreme weather or,noticeable global *** light intensity(LI)in the north-south(NS)was more balanced than the east-west(EW)direction,and the east-west to the south(EW-S)canopy side was almost higher than the other *** LI was associated with high photosynthetically active radiation(PAR),ultraviolet(UV),and infrared(IR)light and vice *** north-south to the east(NS-E)and east-west to the north(EWN)sides were characterized by lower LI and higher UV and IR light,and higher total anthocyanin *** anthocyanin synthesis-related genes,for example,VvF3'H and VvF3'5'H,were highly expressed in NS-E from veraison to *** UV and IR light induced their *** study provides new insights on the role of differently orientated rows in co.trolling grape quality due to varied light *** findings are globally significant,particularly in the co.text of climate change,and offer fresh insights into berry physiological responses and decision-making for the management of existing vineyards.

To date,the primary industrial carbon capture approach is still absorption using aqueous solutions of ***,to pursue a substitute for the amine-based approach to improve the co.(2) capture efficiency and decrease the energy co.t further,we report a new carbon capture approach using a 2-methylimidazole(mIm)aqueous *** properties and sorption behaviors of this approach have been experimentally *** results show that the mIm solution has higher co.(2) absorption capacity under relatively higher equilibrium pressure(>130 kPa)and lower desorption heat than the methyldiethanolamine solution.91.6%sorption capacity of mIm solution can be reco.ered at 353.15 K and 80 *** selectivity for co.(2)/N_(2) and co.(2)/CH_(4) can reach an exceptional 7609 and 4324,***,the pilot-scale tests were also performed,and the results demonstrate that more than 98%of co.(2) in the feed gas co.ld be removed and cyclic absorption capacity can reach 1 mol·L^(-1).This work indicates that mIm is an excellent alternative to alkanolamines for carbon capture in the industry.
