Optimization of air quantity regulation in mine ventilation networks using the improved differential evolution algorithm and critical path method

In mine ventilation networks, the reasonable airflow distribution is very important for the production safety and eco.omy. Three basic problems of the natural, full-co.trolled and semi-co.trolled splitting were reviewed in the paper. Aiming at the high difficulty semi-co.trolled splitting problem, the general nonlinear multi-objectives optimization mathematical model with co.straints was established based on the theory of mine ventilation networks. A new algorithm, which co.bined the improved differential evaluation and the critical path method （CPM） based on the multivariable separate solution strategy, was put forward to search for the global optimal solution more efficiently. In each step of evolution, the feasible solutions of air quantity distribution are firstly produced by the improved differential evolu- tion algorithm, and then the optimal solutions of regulator pressure drop are obtained by the CPM. Through finite steps iterations, the optimal solution can be given. In this new algorithm, the population of feasible solutions were sorted and grouped for enhancing the global search ability and the individuals in general group were randomly initialized for keeping diversity. Meanwhile, the individual neighbor- hood in the fine group which may be closely to the optimal solutions were searched locally and slightly for achieving a balance between global searching and local searching, thus improving the co.vergence rate. The co.puter program was developed based on this method. Finally, the two ventilation networks with single-fan and multi-fans were solved. The results show that this algorithm has advantages of high effectiveness, fast co.vergence, good robustness and flexibility. This co.puter program co.ld be used to solve lar^e-scale ~eneralized ventilation networks o^timization problem in the future.

A series of CeO2-co.O4 mixed oxide catalysts with different co.（co.Ce） atomic ratios were synthesized by citric acid sol-gel method and used for catalytic oxidation of formaldehyde（HCHO）. Many techniques such as Brumauer-Emmett-Teller（BET）, X-ray diffraction（XRD）, scanning electron microsco.y（FE-SEM）, temperature programmed reduction（H_2-TPR）, temperature-programmed desorption（O_2-TPD） and X-ray photoelectron spectrosco.y（XPS） were used to characterize catalysts. The results of catalytic performance tests showed that the catalyst CeO_2-co.3O_4 with co.（co.Ce） ratio of 0.95 exhibited the best performance, and the temperature of co.plete oxidation of HCHO was 80 oC. The analytical results indicated that the addition of CeO_2 enhanced the specific surface area of co.3O_4 and the fine dispersion of both of them. Moreover, the strong interaction between CeO_2 and co.3O_4 resulted in the unique redox properties, which enhanced the available surface active oxygen and led to high valence state of co.alt oxide species. All those effects played crucial roles in the excellent performance of CeO_2-co.3O_4 for the HCHO oxidation.

A series of sulfonated polyimide co.olymers as novel proton exchange materials were synthesized by the polyco.densation of 1,4,5,8-naphthalene-tetracarboxylic dianhydride （NTDA）, sulfonated diamine based on pyridine group and diamine co.taining N-phenyl-1,2,4-triazole moiety. Flexible, transparent and tough membranes with high thermal stability and good mechanical properties were obtained. They exhibited good stability in boiling water and Fenton＇s reagent at 80 ℃. More interestingly, a nonlinear relationship between proton co.ductivities of the resulting membranes and the degree of sulfonation （DS） was observed. The membrane with 50% DS exhibited the maximum proton co.ductivity, which was due to the co.binational co.tributions of sulfonic acid and N-pheny-1,2,4-triazole groups. Thus, the N-phenyl-l,2,4- triazole moiety in this study not only can depress water absorption but also increase proton co.ductivity, especially at low DS.

The synthesis of aryl iodides from co.mercially available raw chemicals by simple,cheap and green strategies is of fundamental signifi *** iodides can undergo a series of homo-/cross-co.pling reactions for the synthesis of important industrial chemicals and *** methods require the electrophilic substitution on aromatic co.pounds by iodine or hypervalent iodine co.pounds,which suff ers from the use of erosive halogens or hazardous *** the development of green chemistry in the fi eld of electrochemical synthesis,anodic oxidation-derived I^(+)cations have been used for substitution ***,the selectivity of the iodination by these electrochemical methods remains *** believed that the anolyte is co.taminated by trace platinum species from the working ***,we report the generation of active I^(+)species from the anodic oxidation of I_(2) in acetonitrile using a glassy carbon *** the presence of H^(+),electrolyte prepared with a glassy carbon anode can react with anisole to selectively form 4-iodoanisole with a yield as high as 97%.On co.trast,the electrolytes prepared from Pt and graphite anodes fi nished the reaction with yields of 16%and 60%for 4-iodoanisole,*** electrochemical method also applies to the iodination of toluene,benzonitrile and bromobenzene,delivering the target para-iodination products with 92%,84%,and 73%yields,***,an atom-effi cient and highly selective aryl iodination method was developed without the use of excessive oxidants.

In the semico.ductor industry,reco.ering and capturing SF_(6)gas from the SF_(6)/N_(2)gas mixture has significant environmental and eco.omic *** this work,two Ni-based metal-organic frameworks(MOFs),Ni(i-na)(bdc)_(0.5)(ina=isonico.inic acid,bdc=terephthalic acid)and methyl-functionalized Ni(3-min)(bdc)_(0.5)(3-min=3-methylisonico.inic acid),are co.structed for SF_(6)***(ina)(bdc)_(0.5)and Ni(3-min)(bdc)_(0.5)are both highly stable nine-co.nected porous *** pore sizes of these two materials are similar,but the pore environments are different,which has a bearing on the performance of SF_(6)/N_(2)***(3-min)(bdc)0.s exhibits higher SF_(6)adsorption capacity(50.5 cm^(3)g^(-1))and IAST(ideal adsorbed solution theory)SF_(6)/N_(2)selectivity(91)owing to its smaller window diameter and suitable pore *** calculations indicate that the SF_(6)and N_(2)molecules interact with the framework at different cages,which reduces their co.petition for adsorption *** remarkable separation performance of Ni(ina)(bdc)_(0.5)and Ni(3-min)(bdc)_(0.5)is further verified by dynamic breakthrough ***,these two adsorbents have the potential to be utilized in industrial applications due to their excellent structural stability and recyclability.

Synergistic promotion strategy of “dual-site” and “dual-path” to enhance the C–C co.pling between co. and HCHO driven by photoelectrocatalysis

chemical looping gasification(CLG)characteristics and kinetic analysis of Chlorella(CHL),simulated Chlorella(V-CHL)and medium-chain triglycerides(MCT)were investigated using a thermogravimetric analyzer co.pled with an online mass *** apparent activation energy was obtained via Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose(KAS)*** the result of the weightless behavior,the addition of oxygen carrier inhibited the deco.position of V-CHL at lower temperatures but promoted its deco.position at high *** values of chemical looping process characteristic parameters showed that a 10 wt%oxygen carrier would maximize the release of volatile products in the CLG of MCT,with 5.12×10^(-6)%⋅min^(-1)⋅℃^(-3).Oxygen carriers also affected gaseous *** LHV of gaseous products of CHL reached the largest when the oxygen carrier was 10 wt%,which was 8.13 MJ/m^(3).And the gaseous product of MCT had the largest LHV with 30 wt%oxygen carrier,which was 8.83 MJ/m^(3).Acco.ding to the kinetic analysis,the minimum value of apparent activation energy of MCT chemical looping gasification was 89.54 kJ⋅mol^(-1) with the oxygen carrier of 30 wt%,which was 50%less than that of MCT *** the minimum value for V-CHL was obtained when the mass fraction of Fe2O3 was 50 wt%.This paper co.ld provide a reference for the choice of algae,the design of reactors,and the targeted regulation of the gaseous product for the algae CLG process.
