Urticaria is a common and frequently encountered disease, which is mainly manifested by extreme pruritus and lumpish eruption of the skin. Acute urticaria with a short disease course can be cured, while the chronic one with repeated attacks is a lingering disorder. In the past few years, 40 cases of urticaria were treated by cupping at the back-shu points of the five zang-organs and Geshu (BL 17). Another 20 cases in the control group were treated with Fang Feng Tong Sheng Wan (防风通圣丸Miraculous Pills of Ledebouriella) and chlorpheniramine maleate. The therapeutic effect in the treatment group was significantly superior to that in the control group. The results are reported as follows.

The impact of cyclodextrins(CDs)on wine quality and stability remains largely *** study systematically assessed the protective effect of the post-fermentation addition of CDs on color stability of red wine from the viewpoints of color characteristics,copigmentation and phenolic *** grey relational analysis(GRA)and principal component analysis(PCA)methods were employed to dissect the key effective determinants related to color *** addition of CDs induced a significant hyperchromic effect of 8.19-25.40%,a significant bathochromic effect and an enhancement of the color ***,the evolution of anthocyanin forms and the content of monomeric anthocyanins revealed that β-CD is a superior favorable cofactor during wine aging,but for long-term aging,2-HP-β-CD and 2-HP-γ-CD are more beneficial in promoting the formation of polymerized anthocyanins and color *** work provides an important reference for the use of CDs to enhance the color quality and stability of red wines.

The Helan Mountain, an intraplate deformation belt in the North China Craton, is located in the northern portion of the China North-South seismic belt, and at the northwestern margin of the Ordos Block. The Cenozoic deformation history of the Helan Mountain is characterized by extension along the eastern Helan Mountain fault (EHSF), resulting in the exhumation and uplift of the Helan Mountain, relative to the rifting of the adjacent Yinchuan Basin. Here we present new apatite fission track (AFT) data from several transects adjacent to the EHSF in the central and northern Helan Mountain. AFT ages from the northern Helan Mountain (Dawukou and Zhengyiguan transects) range from 10 Ma to 89 Ma, whereas AFT ages from the southern Helan Mountain (Suyukou transect) are greater than 71 Ma. The AFT data analysis reveals initiation of rapid uplift and exhumation of the Helan Mountain at 10–12 Ma. Additionally, a plot of the AFT ages versus their mean track length shows a distinctive "boomerang" pattern indicating that the Helan Mountain experienced a discrete phase of accelerated exhumation beginning at 10-12 Ma. Spatially, AFT samples systematically increase in age away from the EHSF and are consistent with late Cenozoic exhumation that was slow in the southwestern Helan Mountain and rapid in the northeastern Helan Mountain, as well more rapid adjacent to the EHSF and slower away from the EHSF. Obviously, the spatial distribution of late Cenozoic exhumation indicates that normal faulting of the EHSF is related to southwestward tilting and rapid exhumation of the Helan Mountain beginning at 10–12 Ma. The uplift and exhumation of the Helan Mountain was a response to the intensive extension of the northwestern margin of the Ordos Block in the late Cenozoic; this occurred under a regional extensional stress field oriented NW-SE along the Yinchuan-Jilantai-Hetao and the Weihe-Shanxi graben systems adjacent to the Ordos Block.

CA19-9 levels returned to normal *** Endoscopic submucosal dissection is appropriate for submucosal lymphomas inpatients intoleratant of chemotherapy. EUS can detect small IPMN-relatedpancreatic tumors.

The growth trajectory of hailstones in clouds determines the ground intensity and spatial distribution of hailfall.A systematic study of hail trajectories can help improve the current scientific understanding of the mechanisms by which hail forms in semi-arid regions of China and,in doing so,improve the quality of hail forecasts and warnings and help to prevent and mitigate *** this study,the WRFv3.7.1 model was employed to provide the background field to drive the hailstone trajectory *** analysis was then used to classify hail trajectories to investigate the characteristics of different types of hail trajectories and the microphysical characteristics of hail *** differences in hail trajectories might be mainly due to differences in the background flow fields and microphysical fields of hail clouds in different *** analysis revealed that as the maximum particle size of ground hailfall increased,the maximum supercooled cloud water content and the maximum updraft velocity for the formation and growth of hailstone *** larger the size when the hailstone reaches its maximum height,the larger the ground hailstone ***,the formation and growth of hailstone are caused by the joint action of the dynamical flow field and cloud microphysical *** physical processes of hailstone growth and main growth regions differ for different types of hail ***,different catalytic schemes should be adopted in artificial hail prevention operations for different hail clouds and trajectories due to differences in hail formation processes and ground hailfall characteristics.

BACKGROUND Fat embolism syndrome(FES)is a rare disease characterized by pulmonary distress,neurologic symptoms,and petechial rash and seriously threatens human life and *** is still neglected clinically because of the lack of verifiable diagnostic criteria and atypical clinical *** studies on FES with pulmonary embolism(PE)and tympanic membrane perforation have been reported to ***,we report a rare case of concomitant FES,PE and tympanic membrane perforation after surgery in a patient with a tibiofibular *** SUMMARY A 39-year-old man presented with right lower extremity pain due to a car accident while driving a motorbike on the road.X-ray and computed tomography scans revealed a fracture of the right mid-shaft tibia and proximal fibula categorized as a type A2 fracture according to the AO classification.A successful minimally invasive operation was performed 3 d after the ***,the patient developed sudden symptoms of respiratory distress and hearing *** diagnosis was made,and supportive treatments were used at the early stage of *** days after surgery,he presented a clear recovery from respiratory *** outcome of fracture healing was excellent,and his hearing of the left ear was mildly impaired at the last follow-up of 4 *** Concomitant FES,PE and tympanic membrane perforation are very rare but represent potentially fatal complications of trauma or orthopedic surgery and present with predominantly pulmonary *** diagnosis and treatment can reduce the mortality of FES,and prevention is better than a cure.
