Disulfidptosis,a novel mechanism of programmed cell death through the disruption of tumor metabolic symbiosis(TMS),has showed tremendous potential in cancer ***,the efficacy of disulfidptosis is limited by poor permeability of drugs in solid ***,hydrogen sulfide(H_(2)S)and nearinfrared(NIR)light-driven nanomotors(denoted as HGPP)have been constructed to efficiently penetrate tumors and induce *** demonstrate glutathione(GSH)-responsive release of H_(2)S,which combined with NIR light-induced photothermal effect drive HGPP movement to facilitate deep tumor *** released H_(2)S induces tumor acidosis and disrupts TMS,where disulfide accumulation following cell starvation leads to *** addition,HGPP induce hepatoma specific cellular uptake and catalyze the conversion of glucose and oxygen to produce hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2)),leading to glucose ***,this study has developed a multifunctional Janus nanomotor that provides a novel strategy for disulfidptosis-based solid tumor therapy.

We study the confinement of a spinless charged particle to a spherical quantum dot under the influence of a linear electric field. The spherical quantum dot is described by a short-range potential given by the power-exponential potential. Then, by analysing the region near the spherical quantum dot centre, we discuss two cases where the energy levels can be obtained for s-waves and how the linear electric field modifies the spectrum of energy of the spherical quantum dot.

Hydrodynamical cosmological simulations of galaxy formation such as Illustris TNG or Auriga have shown considerable success in approximately matching many galaxy properties,but their treatment of the star-forming interstellar medium (ISM) has relied on heuristic sub-grid ***,recent high-resolution simulations of the ISM that directly resolve the regulation of star formation suggest different mean relations for the dependences of pressure and star formation rate on the average gas *** this study,we adopt such a modern,physically grounded parameterization inspired by the TIGRESS small-scale *** dub this model TEQS and use it for a detailed comparative analysis of the formation and evolution of a Milky Way-sized galaxy when compared with the widely used TNG *** employing high-resolution simulations in tall box setups,we first investigate the structural differences expected for these two models when applied to different self-gravitating gas surface *** results indicate that TEQS produces considerably thinner gaseous layers and can be expected to form stellar distributions with smaller scale-height than TNG,especially at higher surface *** test whether this induces systematic structural differences in cosmological galaxy formation simulations,we carry out zoom-in simulations of 12 galaxies taken from the set of Milky Way-sized galaxies that have been studied in the Auriga *** results for these galaxies shows that disk galaxies formed with the TEQS model have on average very similar stellar mass but are more concentrated in their central regions and exhibit smaller stellar radii compared to those formed with the TNG *** differences in the scale-heights of the formed stellar disks are only marginal,however,suggesting that other factors for setting the thickness of the disk are more important than the applied ISM equation-of-state ***,the predicted galaxy structure is quite similar for TNG and

Organic nanophotocatalysts are promising candidates for solar fuels production,but they still face the challenge of unfavorable geminate recombination due to the limited exciton diffusion ***,we introduce a binary nanophotocatalyst fabricated by blending two polymers,PS-PEG5(PS)and PBT-PEG5(PBT),with matched absorption and emission spectra,enabling a f€orster resonance energy transfer(fRET)process for enhanced *** heterostructure nanophotocatalysts are processed using a facile and scalable flash nanoprecipitation(fNP)technique with precious kinetic control over binary nanoparticle *** resulting nanoparticles exhibit an exceptional photocatalytic hydrogen evolution rate up to 65 mmol g^(-1) h^(-1),2.5 times higher than that single component *** through fluorescence spectra and transient absorption spectra confirm the hetero-energy transfer within the binary nanoparticles,which prolongs the excited-state lifetime and extends the namely“effective exciton diffusion length”.Our finding opens new avenues for designing efficient organic photocatalysts by improving exciton migration.

Developing organic room-temperature phosphorescence(RTP)materials with a wide range of tunable-emission is significant in expanding the applications of RTP ***,we rationally designed amphiphilic alternating copolymers poly(1,2-bis(4-alkoxyphenyl)ethane-1,2-dione-alt-(ethylene glycol)x)(P(Bz-alt-EGx))that combined the advantage of alternating benzil and EGxskeleton,and tunable mainchain *** a mainchain conformation ordering assembly(COA)process,P(Bz-alt-EGx)self-assembled into well-defined platelets,and such assemblies emitted blue RTP at ca.425 nm due to the ordered folded-chain conformation and confined *** contrast,traditional self-assembly(TA)of P(Bz-alt-EGx)obtained less ordered aggregates,such as asymmetric worms,vesicles,and rod-like *** resultant less ordered aggregates exhibited yellow-green RTP at ca.550 *** wide-tuning RTP emission in solution(between blue and yellow-green,over125 nm)is realized using the P(Bz-alt-EG_(x))alternating copolymers under the treatment of different self-assembly *** study uncovers a new strategy to tailor the RTP emission through different self-assembly pathways and holds great promise for the fabrication of advanced optical materials.

Pure organic room-temperature phosphorescence（RTP） has drawn broad attention due to its long persistent luminescence and large Stokes shift. Although the doping strategy has become one of the most effective methods to construct organic RTP systems,there is still some fuzziness of impurities, mechanisms and luminescence regulation. This study develops a series of doping RTP systems based on exciplex, in which BPC@PPZ(where BPC is N-（4-bromophenyl）-carbazole, PPZ is 10-phenyl-10H-phenothiazine) achieved the highest quantum yield of 36.3%, while BPC@CE（where CE is coronene） showed the longest lifetime of 628.5 ms. The relevant data verify the mechanism that RTP comes from the charge transfer（CT） state of exciplex. further, the introduction of Nile Red into the exciplex system results in the triple-singlet f?rster resonance energy transfer, exhibiting a red delayed fluorescence. Besides, when incorporating the coumarin derivatives into doping system, distinct1CT*&3CT* states are generated through the CT process, accompanying a brand-new long persistent luminescence excited by visible light. These findings present an approach to regulate the CT state for achieving different persistent luminescence in the multicomponent system.

Luminescent materials for application in temperature sensing have caught a lot of interest in recent *** erbium(Er3+)-doped fluoride-based materials（EfM）,which are readily accessible by near-infrared（NIR） excitation to produce efficient photon *** has been established that ytterbium(Yb3+) may improve the performance of EfMs in both bulk and nanostructured forms by energy transfer channels among rare-earth ions in interstitial *** this work,a comprehensive analysis of the Er3+:Yb3+:Caf2crystalline structure,photoluminescence,and energy transfer from Yb3+to Er3+is presented for powders prepared by combustion *** Er3+:Yb3+:Caf2powders display exceptional photon down-shift and up-conversion when exposed to NIR light（λ=975 nm）.The luminescence spectral change of the NIR emission around 1.5 μm,which corresponds to the Er3+electronic transition4I13/2→4I15/2,was investigated in a temperature range of 298-423 K for application in temperature sensing of biological systems exploring the third biological *** luminescence intensity ratio technique was applied to the thermally coupled Stark sublevels of states4I13/2and4I15/2with the highest estimated temperature relative sensitivity being around 0.4 %/K at 298 K.

Brassinosteroids alleviate wheat floret degeneration under low nitrogen stress by promoting the redistribution of sucrose from stems to spikes

The trade-off between yield and environmental effects caused by nitrogen fertilizer application is an important issue in wheat production. A reduction in fertile florets is one of the main reasons for the lower yields under low nitrogen application rates. Brassinosteroids(BRs) have been found to play a role in nitrogen-induced rice spikelet degeneration. However, whether BRs play a role in wheat floret development and the mechanisms involved are not clear. Therefore, a nitrogen gradient experiment and exogenous spraying experiment were conducted to investigate the role and mechanism of BRs in wheat floret development under low nitrogen stress. The results showed that as the nitrogen application decreased, the endogenous BRs content of the spikes decreased, photosynthesis weakened, and total carbon, soluble sugar and starch in the spikes decreased, leading to a reduction in the number of fertile florets. Under low nitrogen stress, exogenous spraying of 24-epibrassinolide promoted photosynthesis,and stimulated stem fructan hydrolysis and the utilization and storage of sucrose in spikes, which directed more carbohydrates to the spikes and increased the number of fertile florets. In conclusion, BRs mediate the effects of nitrogen fertilizer on wheat floret development, and under low nitrogen stress, foliar spraying of 24-epibrassinolide promotes the flow of carbohydrates from the stem to the spikes, alleviating wheat floret degeneration.
