Within the quasi-one-dimensional effective potential model and effective mass approximation,we obtain the wavefunctions and energy eigenvalues of the ground（j=1） and first 2 excited states（j=2 and 3） of a donor impurity in a rectangular GaAs quantum dot in the presence of electric *** donor impurity-related linear and nonlinear optical absorption as well as refractive index changes for the transitions j=1-2 and j =2-3 are *** results show that the impurity position,incident optical intensity and electric field play important roles in the optical absorption coefficients and refractive index *** find that the impurity effect induces the blueshift for j=1-2 and redshift for j=3-2 in the absence of the electric field,but it leads to redshift for j = 1-2 and blueshift for j = 3-2 in the existence of the ***,the optical coefficient for the higher energy transitions j =2-3 is insensitive to variation of impurity positions,while that for the low energy transition j =1-2 depends significantly on the positions of *** addition,the saturation and splitting phenomenon of the optical absorption are observed as the incident optical intensity increases.

Most major oil zones in the Daqing Oilfield have reached a later,high water cut stage,but oil recovery is still only approximately 35%,and 50%of reserves remain to be *** remaining oil is primarily distributed at the edge of faults,in poor sand bodies,and in insufficiently injected and produced ***,the edge of faults is a major target for remaining oil enrichment and potential *** on the dynamic change of production from development wells determined by the injection-recovery relationship at the edge of faults,we analyzed the control of structural features of faults on remaining oil enrichment at the *** results show that the macroscopic structural features and their geometric relationship with sand bodies controlled remaining oil enrichment zones like the edges of NNE-striking faults,the footwalls of antithetic faults,the hard linkage segments（two faults had linked together with each other to form a bigger through-going fault）,the tips of faults,and the oblique anticlines of soft *** edges formed two types of forward microamplitude structures：（1） the tilted uplift of footwalls controlled by inverse fault sections and（2） the hanging-wall horizontal anticlines controlled by synthetic fault *** remaining oil distribution was controlled by microamplitude ***,such zones as the tilted uplift of the footwall of the NNW-striking antithetic faults with a fault throw larger than 40 m,the hard linkage segments,the tips of faults,and the oblique anticlines of soft linkage were favorable for tapping the remaining oil ***-target directional drilling was used for remaining oil development at fault *** fault spacing was determined on the basis of fault combinations and width of the shattered *** core and log data revealed that the width of the shattered zone on the side of the fault core was less than 15 m in general;therefore,the distance from a fault to the development target

The petrophysical property of mudstone often transforms from ductile to brittle in the process of burial-uplift. The deformation mechanism of fault in brittle and ductile mudstone caprock is different, which leads to the formation of different types of fault zone structure. Different methods are required to evaluate the sealing mechanism of those fault zones. Based on the caprock deformation mechanism, fault sealing mechanism, quantitative evaluation method of vertical fault sealing capacity is put forward in this study. Clay smear is formed in the process of plastic deformation and its continuity controls the sealing capacity of fault. The outcrop and oil field data have confirmed that when sealing parameter SSF is less than 4–7, the clay smear becomes discontinuous and then oil and gas go through the caprock and migrate vertically. Quantities of fractures are formed in mudstone in the process of brittle deformation. The fracture density increases with the increase of the fault displacement. When the fractures are connected, oil and gas go through the caprock and migrate vertically. The connectivity of fault depends on the displacement and the thickness of caprock. On the basis of the above, a method is put forward to quantify the connectivity of fault with the juxtaposition thickness of caprock after faulting. The research on the juxtaposition thickness of caprock after faulting of the member II of Dongying Formation in Nanpu depression and the distribution of oil and gas indicates when the juxtaposition thickness of caprock is less than 96.2 m, the fault becomes leaking vertically. In the lifting stage, with the releasing and unloading of the stress, the caprock becomes brittle generally and then forms through going fault which will lead to a large quantity of oil and gas migrate vertically.

Designing microstructurally stable FeCrAl alloys with excellent strength-ductility synergy is highly desir-able for their engineering ***,due to the preference nucleation of precipitates at grain boundaries(GBs),the improved precipitation strengthening of these alloys is usually accompanied by in-tergranular ***,we propose a novel thermomechanical processing route coupled with the Si alloying strategy via precipitation of coherent deformable Laves precipitates inside equiaxed fine-grains to achieve FeCrAl alloys with ultrahigh yield strength over∼992 MPa,excellent uniform elongation of∼7.6%at room temperature,and superior thermal stability at temperature∼1200℃.The Si alloying not only decreases the stacking fault energy of Laves precipitates favorable for their stacking-fault-mediated deformation but also hinders grain coarsening at 1200℃due to the Si-enrichment favorable for GB pin-ning *** results prove the possibility of achieving the collaborative enhancement of mutually exclusive properties in alloys,such as strength-ductility-thermal stability via nanoprecipitation engineer-ing,and offer a promising route to prepare dispersion-strengthened materials.

In the current research, serrated flow is investigated under tensile and compressive loading in a ZrCubased bulk metallic glass composite (BMGC) that is well known for its plastic deformability, which is higher than that of metallic glasses. Statistical analysis on serrations shows a complex, scale free process, in which shear bands are highly correlated. The distribution of the elastic-energy density stored in each serration event follows a power-law relationship, showing a randomly generated serrated event under both tension and compression tests. The plastic deformation in the temporal space is explored by a timeseries analysis, which is consistent with the trajectory convergent evolution in critical dynamic behavior even in the low strain rate regime in both tests. The results demonstrate that the secondary phase in the BMGC can stabilize the shear band extension and facilitate the critical behavior in the low strain rate regime. This study provides a strong evidence of serrated flow phenomenon in BMGC under tension test, and offers a deep understanding of the correlation between serrations and shear banding in temporal space.

Flexible pressure sensors with high sensitivity are desired in the fields of electronic skins,human-machine interfaces,and health *** ionic soft materials with microstructured architectures in the functional layer is an effective way that can enhance the amplitude of capacitance signal due to generated electron double layer and thus improve the sensitivity of capacitive-type pressure ***,the requirement of specific apparatus and the complex fabrication process to build such microstructures lead to high cost and low ***,we report a simple strategy that uses open-cell polyurethane foams with high porosity as a continuous three-dimensional network skeleton to load with ionic liquid in a one-step soak process,serving as the ionic layer in iontronic pressure *** high porosity(95.4%) of PU-IL composite foam shows a pretty low Young's modulus of 3.4 kPa and good compressibility.A superhigh maximum sensitivity of 9,280 kPa^(-1) in the pressure regime and a high pressure resolution of 0.125% are observed in this foam-based pressure *** device also exhibits remarkable mechanical stability over 5,000 compression-release or bending-release *** high porosity of composite structure provides a simple,cost-effective and scalable way to fabricate super sensitive pressure sensor,which has prominent capability in applications of water wave detection,underwater vibration sensing,and mechanical fault monitoring.

Seismites in the Dasheng Group： New evidence of strong tectonic and earthquake activities of the Tanlu fault Zone

More than 80 layers of seismites were recognized from the Early Cretaceous Dasheng Group in the Mazhan and Tancheng graben basins in the Tanlu fault Zone, eastern China. The responsible seismic events took place about 110–100 Ma in the Early Cretaceous. The fault zone was affected at the time by strong tectonics, due to tension-related stretching and scattered squeezing by strike-slip faults. These tectonic activities induced a series of strong earthquakes with Richter magnitudes(M) of 5–8.5. The earthquakes affected saturated or semi-consolidated flood and lake sediments, and produced intra-layer deformations by several processes, including liquefaction, thixotropy, drop, faulting, cracking, filling and folding, which resulted in the formation of various soft-sediment deformation structures, such as dikes and veins of liquefied sand, liquefied breccias, liquefied homogeneous layers, load structures, flame structures, ball-and-pillow structures, boudinage, diapirs, fissure infillings, a giant conglomerate wedge, and syn-sedimentary faults. The seismites are new evidence of tectonic and seismic activities in the Tanlu fault Zone during the Early Cretaceous; the series of strong seismic events that can be deduced from them must be considered as a response to the destruction of the North China Craton.

It is vital to establish an interpretable fault diagnosis model for critical *** Rule Base(BRB)is an interpretable expert system gradually applied in fault ***,the expert knowledge cannot be utilized to establish the initial BRB accurately if there are multiple referential grades in different fault *** addition,the interpretability of BRB-based fault diagnosis is destroyed in the optimization process,which reflects in two aspects:deviation from the initial expert judgment and over-optimization of *** solve these problems,a new interpretable fault diagnosis model based on BRB and probability table,called the BRB-P,is proposed in this *** with the traditional BRB,the BRB-P constructed by the probability table is more ***,the interpretability constraints,i.e.,the credibility of expert knowledge,the penalty factor and the rule-activation factor,are inserted into the projection covariance matrix adaption evolution strategy to maintain the interpretability of BRB-P.A case study of the aerospace relay is conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Neoproterozoic igneous and metamorphic complexes occur as tectonic domes in the Longmen Mountains of the western margin of the Yangtze Block, and are important in reconstructing the Rodinian supercontinent and constraining the timing and mechanism of tectonic denudational processes. The Pengguan dome consists of granitic intrusions and metamorphic rocks of the Huangshuihe Group and is tectonically overlain by ductilly deformed Sinian to Paleozoic strata. The plutonic intrusions consist of granites with abundant amphibolite enclaves. New LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating yielded an emplacement age of 809±3 Ma and a protolith age of 844±6 Ma for the granite. The granitic rocks have geochemical signatures typical of A-type granites, indicating their formation under an extensional environment, by melting of newly formed tonalite-trondhjemite-granodiorite (TTG) rocks. A detachment fault, characterized by variable ductile shear deformation of S-C fabric and ESE-ward kinematics, separates the Pengguan dome from the Sinian-Paleozoic cover. 40Ar/39Ar dating of muscovite from the mylonite in the detachment fault of the dome demonstrates that ductile deformation occurred at ~160 Ma. This study indicates the existence of a Neoproterozoic magmatic arc-basin system, which was denudated by a Jurassic middle crustal ductile channel flow along the Longmenshan thrust belt.
